Kevin Scott Coulier's book has some surface level errors that were missed in edits and there is some repetition in the first three or four chapters about Robot Monster's status as "the worst movie of all time," as well as some redundant quotes from interviews. However, by and large, I really enjoyed this book and learned a lot about filmmaking and Robot Monster in particular that I did not previously know. I like how Coulier expands the scope of the original movie to show the ripples it has had throughout entertainment since 1953. Good read and well worth the money.
A slim volume about the 1953 sci-fi film um "classic" but one that is very informative and enjoyable for sure! Loved the chapter where the author interviewed the suit performer who played "ro-man" in Looney Tunes back in action's area 52 sequence! Some great behind the scenes photos are in this as well!
Well worth picking up for the prices it goes for online if you have any interest in this specific film or films of its ilk!
