Irma Grese was one of the most evil women to have lived
Aushwitz in World War 2 was a haven in which Irma's bias for murder could be nurtured and allowed to flourish. Encouragement for torture and massacre would have been key to her development. Understand how these elements incorporated with Nazi brainwashing would have been enticing for a young lady who harbored a sadistic mindset at an impressionable time of her life. These elements provide the necessary ingredients to create a fierce lady with an unforgiving nature.

How was Irma Grese captured and what was her fate?
Discover the events that led to the end of Irma's murderous activities and how she was dealt with. Read about the historical trial and evidence, the trial's significance and eventual outcome.

This short read is a fascinating, powerful and compelling account of a young, beautiful and innocent female whose savage tendencies were allowed to develop and ultimately surpass most males of her time.

p. 11: “Ravensbrück training session … fifty prisoners were brought before the trainees, who were ordered to beat them.” Three of the trainees asked why the prisoners were to be beaten and one refused. The trainee who refused “was imprisoned.” - no reference. Did this actually occur? It is referenced nowhere else and there are no references. Trainees were not imprisoned for refusal of an order; they were either disciplined verbally or released of duty.

Basically no references, needs an editor, and information regurgitated in all books on Grese. I hate leaving bad reviews, but if an author is going to write a biography it should be as factual as possible.

Heart Rendering History

A quick history of a real, scary young girl who was turned into a trained sadist and murderer for the Nazi's during World War II. It is difficult to believe a young girl like this could turn out to be so vicious and unapologetic, but it is a true story with which everyone should become familiar.

Oh. I don't even know where to start. How on earth did the author managed to write a book so boring about such an interesting topic?
Clearly the author didn't bother with a profound research prior to writing this book.
I listen to this on Audiobook which didn't help as the narrator was pronouncing German words terribly in an attempted accent which made me, a German speaker unable to understand what she was saying.

Scant information

I have read much more about Irma Grese from other sources, I was hoping for at least a concise recap of her life, instead what this is is a brief outline of Avery complex woman. Disappointed.
