Rough life

A sad and twisted story. I started skipping over the sex scenes as they were frequent. A rough life story.

Chloe is ready to head off to college. Having been spoiled by her father with things, never being allowed to do what other girls do growing up. She was ready to experience life. Driving off to school wouldn't you know it her car broke down first day on the road. In the middle of nowhere. Kai never stayed in one place long. Hit town get a job, play some music find a few one night stands, get back on the bike and move on again. That's was the life. Seeing the car on side of the road Kai stops scaring Chloe. Having to share a motel room they both feel things that don't make sense for just meeting. Chloe doesn't do one night stands no matter how attracted she is to the man. The next morning she is ready to get her car fixed and head off. Never guessing she would meet Kai again.

Loved Chloe, it would have been so easy having the one night with Kai but she didn't roll that way and she wasn't about to start. Kai knew he made a mistake making a move on Chloe when he did. He was used to girls giving in. There was something different about Chloe. Just when you think this is just a love story the secrets come out and you end with mystery and suspense. It draws you in and you don't know where the story is going to take you. Really keeps you turning pages.

Our Life is the beautiful debut novel written by Debbie Williams.

I enjoyed everything that this book had to offer, the romance, the intrigue and the suspense. It will take you out of your world and into the lives of Kai and Chloe. You wont be able to put this book down until you've read the very last sentence.

The two different point of views work very well and in my opinion essential for hearing both sides of their story especially as they are discovering how each family is linked to the other. Our Life is a easy to read story that is well executed it led me to gasp in a few places one out of sadness and one out of humour. The writing is descriptive and the characters of Kai and Chloe were lovable and real and easy to connect and relate to.

I am excited to see what else Debbie Williams will write next. So grab this new remarkable book and lock yourself away from the world and hide until you've finished.

Breaking Free is a beautiful and intriguing romance that will keep you hooked from beginning to end!

Chloe is off to start her life and to break free from living under her parents thumb. She’s sick of her father’s controlling ways and her mom’s over present neediness, so when she leaves for university, she’s more than happy to do it on her own. When her car breaks down on her way and she meets the intriguing biker Kai, she never expected the attraction, or for her to run into him again, and the attraction to be there still.

Kai and Chloe are definitely complete opposites, but they work. The love they feel for one another is undeniable, and they truly bring out the best in one another. Is it insta-love? yes.. so if you’re turned off by that, this may not be the book for you, but it really didn’t bother me, as the depth and story-line in this book really made up for it. The back story of how these two characters are inter-connected is amazing, and I loved figuring it out and why they shouldn’t be together, yet how no matter what stood in their way, they fought it and stood by each other. No matter what was thrown at Kai and Chloe, what should have torn them apart, only made them stronger, and made their love shine brighter. They had so many opportunities in this book to give up and move on with their lives, other couples would have, but these two fought for what they wanted and I loved this about them.

This story was amazing, but sometimes I felt as if the author pushed through some parts a bit too fast, and others dragged on a little too much. Other than that this really was an enjoyable read, and I really adored Kai’s character, he was rough around the edges, yet sweet and adorable at the same time. Chloe was a spitfire with a heart of gold who stood by her man no matter what. If you’re looking for a quick read that will keep you on edge, then I highly recommend Breaking Free by Debbie Williams, you will not be disappointed!

I solemnly swear to give the best and most accurate review.
No biased reviews or misconceptions will you find here.

I edited this book for Debbie as I am the Editor of Bella Tulip Publishing.

Our Life (Retitled Breaking Free) was one of the most accomplished pieces I've had the pleasure of editing. The story flows perfectly for Chloe and Kai to tell you their lives.
Chloe is what you'd call your 'poor little rich girl', and Kai is a Sexy Hero/Biker on his Metal Steed. He just cruised into her life on a whim; they'd never met before that night. However, their lives connected by the past of their parents, their lives being dictated too by her father. And a terrible past that almost winds them up dead.
When people say 'it's a small world' it really is.
Especially in Kai and Chloe's case lol

One of my top 10 of 2016 Must Read!

*I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.*

Breaking Free was a quick read full of romance and suspense. The story follows Chloe and Kai as they get to know each other, and learn how their pasts intertwine.

I have to admit, the romance was pretty “insta-love,” which threw me off a little. However, pushing that aside, the romance was healthy, and happy, and that’s all I can ask for when I’m reading any book with a romance plot. Kai treats Chloe like a queen, and she treats him just as well. I really love to read this kind of romance, so I can forgive the insta-love.

The mysteries of Chloe and Kai’s pasts tie really well with each other. It felt really fleshed out, and I wasn’t confused at all. I was genuinely shocked, and I never was able to guess before the truth was revealed.

I enjoyed Chloe and Kai as characters. They were well rounded and entertaining, and I liked that we were able to get into both of their heads.

A quick, fun read with likable characters, a healthy (albeit instant) romance, and a well thought out and delivered reveal made Breaking Free an enjoyable read. If Romantic Suspense is a genre you enjoy, I definitely recommend checking this one out.
