The first chapter deals with concerns with the symptoms of IBS, and the author encourages you to get over the embarrassment over the issue. The second chapter talks about different issues with foods that can cause issues. I had not considered that sugar would cause issues with your gut. Overeating is another thing that will aggravate IBS. Next the author discusses home remedies that may help. You will want to manage stress because stress can make IBS worse. The final sections speak about living with IBS, medications that will help the condition, and some complementary therapies that you can try.
