This really is an excellent resource and aid. It is not a book that needs to be read from cover to cover as it can be dipped in and out of at will as the Appendices, Glossary, References Section and Index enable the reader to easily access any specific topic or reference point. This book is an invaluable asset to people working or aspiring to work with young people, be it in child protection, care, teaching etc. It will also be of great worth to anyone who has children in their family or friend circle especially if they feel that young person may be at risk. A fabulous piece of work.
