Alternate Cover Edition for ASIN: B00I90NNB6

Just as dressage trainer Dani Blake decides the best kind of relationship is no relationship at all, along comes cunning linguist Connor Graham, and he's the perfect Mr. Right Now. He's newly single, not looking for any type of attachment, and smoking hot in bed.

Best of all, he's moving out of state in a few months, so there's no pressure for -- and no chance of -- a long-term relationship. Even if Dani hadn't already made the mistake of moving to another state for a man in the all too recent past, a mistake she's not keen on repeating, she's stuck in Seattle because she can't afford to move her beloved horses again.

So she and Connor will just take advantage of the time they have and enjoy it until it's over. It's just enough time to have some fun, and not nearly enough time to fall in love with him.

Right?

Clare C's Review

When Dani meets Connor, she’s okay with the sparks that fly because she knows it’s only temporary. He’s moving in a few months, and she’s recovering from a failed long-term relationship. The premise isn’t a new one—an emotionally scarred woman wants a fling to help heal her broken heart—but in Lauren Gallagher’s talented hands, it’s fresh and interesting.

One of the things Ms. Gallagher does extremely well is to develop characters that are both realistic and yet achieve the ideal we all want to be. I have almost nothing in common with Dani, yet by the time the story ended, I felt as if I had known her for years. Ms. Gallagher did an excellent job helping me understand Dani’s pain as she wrestled with her feelings for Connor and what kind of sacrifice that might mean from her.

The love scenes were both erotic and sweet. From the beginning, we see that what’s between Connor and Dani is special. From the beginning, we root for them to both want something more than a summer fling. They deserve a happily ever after.

This wasn’t a book I could read in one sitting. The pace is slower, more relaxed. Like Gallagher’s previous novels, Between Brothers and The Next Move, Until It’s Over is the perfect novel for a cold winter day spent snuggled up on the couch or a hot summer day on the beach. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a little more substance from their love story.

3 Stars for me!

This bounced between 2.5 and 4 stars for me but the manic behavior of the h towards the end drove me a bit crazy.

Scenes with heat... This story may be 50%+ solid heat. I cannot believe that I am saying this, nut it probably would have benefited from a couple less.

The Horse Trainer back story... This is probably one of the few stories with an author that had a deep understanding of the dressage and hunter world and portrayed it accurately.

The Romance... Started as instalust, then went to test the maximum sexual encounters before dying and they built up a relationship on the way.

The drama explosion... The h had a horrible breakup and the H is fresh out of a serious relationship. Since the h was screwed over by her last man, all future men will screw her over in the same way... 🙄

HEA or HFN? I am still trying to figure it out.

World Enough and Time by Lauren Gallagher. I’ve been picking up free books from this author and her alter egos. I have found her writing to be fantastic and I absolutely love her characters. I believe this is the first book I’ve read by her that is a female/male romance. Most have been m/m or ménage. I don’t care what she writes it’s all been wonderful! This story is definitely a must read. And I would suggest reading anything by her or her alter egos.

I loved this book. This is the first book I have read by this author, but I will be reading more. Dani and Connor have just gotten out of a long-term relationships and they're not ready for anything serious. They meet at a get together in a bar, and talking leads to touching and touching leads to (he's only here for 2 months, what's the harm) kissing and you get the picture. Excellent book, I would definitely recommend this book.

At times, there were problems with missing indentations when someone new was speaking here (unusual, for this author).

The book is about Dani trying to make a life for herself in a new city shortly after she moved to a new city shortly after she moved there for her boyfriend, who broke up with her right after the move. She meets Connor, & both are ready for a very short friends with benefits relationship, which begins to turn into something more.

I knew that I was going to struggle with this book when the main characters were already in bed together by the third chapter and I wasn’t wrong. Unless an author is capable of writing sex scenes with substance, I tend to read the first one and skim the rest. I did a lot of skimming in this one. Maybe it was all of the skimming, but it seemed like there was too much sex and not enough substance.

Just ok

This book was just okay. It was filled in with too many sex scenes and no background on the main characters. I would like to have had some background on both Dani and Connor growing up as well as their previous relationships with their exes.

Story was ok, extremely predictable. there was more sex then anything else which made for a very smutty read. Usually like this author but didn't like this particular book

I loved this book purely because its one of the few books I've read where the main characters are comfortable with the fact that they don't want children. I love romance novels, and when the characters get married and have kids, it's of course beautiful. But I made a decision to not have kids, it was a personal choice, one that many don't understand, and it was refreshing to read some of those reasons in a book... and I didn't feel so alone, which made me feel comfortable with my choice.

I liked this.

I didn't dislike Dani.
I didn't dislike Conner.

The horse stuff wasn't overwhelming like the last horse related book I read was. (It was there, but not too much).

I did feel however it got a little monotonous towards the end. It was a lot of sex (which was very good... at first, but then just started to teeter into the too much stage towards the end, but not enough to make me annoyed), but mostly her issues with her ex. If felt like we were rehashing the same paragraphs over and over again for the final few chapters.

Also at times I couldn't figure out how old they were supposed to be, as it just seemed to meander a bit, but I just had to remind myself it was grad school.

Even with that though, I did rather enjoy the book.

Note: Only added LGBT shelf for the gay roommate.

Bought from Fictionwise.

Sweet and sexy love story. Very hot sex scenes. Loved the details of her job, his job and the poetry they quoted. Usually I find that contrived and annoying, in this book it was perfect.

I love how Lauren captures the true feelings that occur in any relationship, even the irrational ones. The way her characters react to their situations are more realistic than most romances I've read. Her books have just the right mix of sexy loves scenes and story lines with substance.

I enjoyed this book. This was the first book of LG's I've read that I would classify as an erotic romance rather than an erotica with romantic elements
