Their men are lonely and restless. They’re inherently alpha, protective, a family-driven species, and they’re carnally deprived so that’s having an impact on the otherwise peaceful planet. They have gone without women for years and so they’re chomping at the bit and it means fighting, threat of war, general unease / unrest, and threats to pillage other planets for women if something wasn't done to get these men what they needed. Tests were run and since we’re biologically compatible deals were made.
I was tricked onto the space ship. I was also tricked into getting married without my knowledge. I'm fighting my emotions but Daxx is doing all sorts of things to try to break down my defenses... the scheming, insatiable, hot, bossy, swoony, alpha.
Dirty-talking, steamy panty-melting scenes, over-the-top alpha male insta-love. A fun, light read in the sci-fi romance genre with only a little bit of world-building but a whole lot of steamy insta-love fun & a happily ever after. Future books will follow but this is a complete story with an HEA & no cheating.

I am a sucker for a bit of sci-fi Alien romance and this one hit the spot for me.
Jetta is tricked into becoming some kind of mail-order bride and finds herself very far from her home on earth and complete with a brand new alien husband.
So I absolutely loved this, Jetta was a strong and feisty individual who definitely met her match in the muscled alien hotty who was also so achingly Sweet.
Daxx knew exactly who and what he wanted from day one and although Jetta herself does take some convincing its more about having her choices taken away from her than any great aversion to being with Daxx.
She fought her feelings quite severely initially but I think this was more down to her stubborn nature.
I really was rooting for these two all the way they made such a charming couple.
This was humorous and sexy and such an easy and fun read.
If you like your Aliens hot, sweet and devoted Daxx then is most definitely the ET for you.
I enjoyed this just as much the second time around this really is a great read.

We have D.D. Prince, author of ‘Detour’ and ‘Alphahole’ writing as Scarlett Starkleigh in this unusually diverting sci-fi novel of a planet bursting with male encumbrance and a horde of terrified Earth women subjected to the volition of Phallyx’s deprived men.
‘But when I saw the sky, I knew I wasn’t in Kansas anymore.’
Four years ago a blight wiped out a colossal amount of Phallyx’s female population, leaving their men restive, needy and bereaved. Phallyxian men have shelter and command embedded in their make up and as well as the loss they’ve experienced they have no way to exercise their inherent predisposition. Women are an imperative part of their lives, and the absence of their feminal counterparts has taken it’s toll on their livelihoods as well as the current climate. A restless tension has been building since because these larger than life aliens are restless, determined and hungry for what was taken from them. Lucky for them there’s an otherworldly shipment coming in, one that’s guaranteed to placate what’s left of their race, and hopefully ignite some harmony to their planet, because Earth just happens to be plentiful in the feminine variety.
‘Phallyxians wanted for nothing until they found themselves without women.’
‘I’m a bit like a mail order bride. But space-mail.’
A trade consensus was made by both Phallyx’s and Earth’s leaders: Earth would provide Phallyx with women to encourage the continuation of their species and Phallyx would offer them advanced resources in return. Regrettably for her Jetta Mercedes Michaels is one of those women, tricked and traded without knowledge or her consent to take part in this highly covert operation, and after being fed a bowlful of lies she’s stuck amid the lush, idyllic surrounding of Phallyx’s paradisiacal plush planet of thriving foliage and brilliant pigmentation. A fertile planet awaiting fertile women…this is Jetta’s absolute nightmare because she’s not a commodity to be bred, and she definitely won’t be served on an otherworldly dish for Phyllax’s men to feast on.
“You set eyes on me for half a second and decide, that’s it? You wanna make babies with me?”
“Yeah, sure. I’ll make babies with you,” he offered.
As soon as her feet hit Phallyx’s rich, but star-crossed earth it’s time to fight or fly. Jetta is the kind of optimist that sees the bad but does her best to look at what’s in her arsenal rather than stew over resentment. Give her cherries, I’m sure she’ll find a way to make lemonade because it could always be much worse. Simply looking to take her future potential on Earth on a serious chase and here she ends up being chased, attempting to outrun these apparently wild men with competition and conquest on their minds…because she is now a part of Phallyx’s adaptation of fantasy’s The Wild Hunt.
“Once I understood your words I was even more in your thrall. I wasn’t coming down here today, I didn’t even know when you’d arrive this week, didn’t allow myself to know, but then fate brought you to my feet and now I’ll spend my life at yours.”
Jetta is comfortable enough to disturb the balance and as unsettled as she is she corrects her fear with expression and clamorous fight. Just as Jetta doesn’t hesitate to question, Daxx Blackstar has the status to disturb some rules himself because he’d do a lot to make Jetta a Blackstar. Mayhem this is because deprived men means starving men, starving for company, starving for happiness, for liaison and starving for intimacy. And so this is a story of salacious claim, indecision and red herrings for Daxx and Jetta - she is fastened into a relationship she didn’t ask for and one that he has no promise of letting go of.
As Starkleigh’s first try at a sci-fi fantasy this surely comes across as the playful story it was intended to be. Starkleigh admittedly isn’t a sci-fi connoisseur as this story isn’t meant to follow the specific laws of space and the logistics that come with it, but this story focuses so much on the characters and the story itself that the accuracies are almost irrelevant. I could tell that Starkleigh had a lot of fun writing ‘Hot Alpha Alien Husbands’ and as her first jump into sci-fi territory I think she did a great job with this book’s design. As a reader it’s enjoyable to know that an author had fun writing and when that can be traced it’s as much as I can ask for.
“Can it make pizza?”
“Pete zah?”
“Oh God. Please tell me you know what pizza is.”
“Explain?”
‘Hot Alpha Alien Husbands’ admittedly got me thinking - and If you’re a deep thinker I’m sure it’d get you thinking too. What would society actually be like without the presence of women on Earth? In this story women are a necessity for men, not just a luxury… and love is a boon, but an even bigger one? Choice, but choice is also a right and Jetta’s - along with many other women’s - was robbed from her. The current climate is a parlous one on Phallyx, and the spaceball is most definitely not in Jetta’s court. That saying? ‘Men are from Mars, women are from Venus’? Well, these races are planets apart, languages apart and still we all have similarities at the kernel. Daxx hopes that women can restore a balance that has long since been lost, taking contentment with them. Perhaps more than just re-populating the planet this devilish alien gentleman can find his happiness at Venus’s door.
‘He wanted time with just her first, time to nurture the tiny seedling of feelings she had so that he could grow that into something indestructible.’
As my tribute to sci-fi fantasy week I hope this story of Inter-planetary affairs knocks your otherworldly socks of. Easily a tempting narrative written for the purpose of fun fantasy and saucy sci-fi.

Daxx and Jetta Hot Alpha Alien Husbands #1 was an ok read for me. I didn't love it or hate it and while I thought it had potential unfortunately I found it lacking. Jetta was really hard to like after the first few chapters. While I understood her feelings of betrayal her anger seemed to take so long to get over and overall it was really boring. I did like Daxx, I always find enjoyment in a society were woman are scarce. Now while I didn't love this one I may consider reading the next book because I am curious about what Treya is hiding and I would love to read about Zane and Ollie.

I really enjoyed this book! I started reading it because I had read Detour from D.D. Prince which is another penname of Scarlett Starkleigh. I loved that book (Detour) and was curious to see this author write a sci-fi book and how that would go. And I really enjoyed it.
Also, this book is on the listopia 'Non-Kristen Ashley Books That Have A Kristen Flavour' so I also wanted to see if it did have that flavor. It did have an alpha male, a strong female, strong attraction between each other and a pretty good storyline. For me this does have a bit of a KA flavor.
I gave this book only 4 stars probably because of all the boring stuff that goes into trying to build the world. This is especially hard to do in a sci-fi book. Hopefully once the next book comes out she won't have to do too much with the world-building and can focus on the story itself. I can't wait to read more from this series.

This was my first Sci-fi Alien read and I loved it. I love everything DD Prince put out. The author mentioned not having a great Knowledge of Sci-fi Aliens and neither do I but, I must say that she seemed to be well knowledgeable to me. I love how she put everything advanced from what we are use to, like I was really thinking that this was some real life stuff. I was to excited wishing I could be in this Alien world. Everything about this Alien read had my interest the author made you believe in everything she wrote and it was amazing. Now I love that the lenght of this book exceeded 300 pages. I love a long read and I didn't notice any errors, the storyline will pull you in and hold your attention until the end. Dexx and Jetta was my idol couple, I love the attraction between them the sexual tension was so thick that I felt it outside of the book..lol! Dexx characteristics and personality will make every woman won't a Alien I know I was definitely envious of Jetta. He was so sweet and loving but, definitely a dominate bad ass when needed. Poor Jetta didn't stand a chance against this Alpha Alien man. Overall I love to see authors step into the unknown and I promise you DD Prince will not disappointe with this read. Readers that have no clue about Sci-fi Alien won't miss nothing because the way the author writes this book makes you vision yourself on this planet with all her vivid details. Besides all of that who doesn't like to find love and that's what happens here as well Dexx and Jetta find love together. An Amazing book worth trying.

This is another case of me not really liking the heroine and it making it a drag to get through. This started off well but once we got to know Jetta I soon became annoyed with her. She acted like such a brat and played games with Daxx. She already knew how she felt about him but still dragged him along like a puppy. If I overlook Jetta, then I can say that I did like the world building and the concept of these alpha alien men wanting to devote themselves to these women.

I can't believe this book sat on my TBR for so long! This story was so fun and quirky. It was full of sparky humor and hilarious moments of.
Daxx and Jetta were drawn to each other, although Jetta really struggled with the attraction and circumstances. Life on this planet was so different but also really special.

I enjoyed this book, its different, the idea of being tricked or essentially stolen from earth to help repopulate a planet short on females is not new but the writing style makes it unique.
The heroine, Jetta is super sarcastic and I love that, on the journey to the planet she is labelled a trouble maker but really she shows fighting spirit at the deception that has taken place, who in their right mind would go down without a fight.
Daxx is amazing, yes he ends up as part of the situation, claiming her and unable to help her go home but he truly cares for her and wants to give her everything.
Jetta's 'rebellion' using whatever power she has to fight is really good, clever and realistic.(accepting the plot-line of course, aliens in space and all).
I love the way their relationship developed and also the way the author left certain things on the back burner, not tempted to deal with everything at once.
I will definitely be looking froward to book 2 and anymore I can get my hands on

I really enjoyed this book. I thought this was going to be a quick Smut book . I was so happy to be wrong Daxx and Jetta worked so well together. He was very attentive and caring I don't know why he got some bad reviews. Don't forget that the title of the book is alpha aliens. I like that she didn't just give in on everything and that he had to work to show he cared. I'm really looking forward to the other girl stories. I hope I don't have to wait too long.

I'm not really into romance and aliens - or at least I wasn't until I read this crazy book. Jetta is one of 38 women involved in the re-population project of an alien planet, because earth was responsible for wiping out almost all of the planet's women (not intentionally, but still). This planet is perfect, the men are super tall and super hot and Daxx very quickly claims Jetta as his own. An easy fun read (two or three times).

I loved this book

I really enjoyed reading this book. The author states that sci-fi is not her primary genre but I have been reading sci-fi avidly since I was a wee fry and for me this was a stellar entry. Descriptions matter in world-building and it was well-done such that I could comfortably imagine being on Phallyx and put myself in Jetta’s shoes - experiencing the world though her eyes.
I loved their interactions as well. Of course it’s not going to be smooth sailing with a woman that was tricked into traveling to another planet and an alien is not budging on this whole husband deal (no matter how hot he is) - and that is something DD does really well, the push-and-pull, relationship tension and buildup. And the dialogue between these two - I wish there was an extra novella of deleted scenes because they get so funny when they bicker and misunderstand each other.
Well written, plot moved smoothly and made me hungry for the next book. That’s the only “problem” I see - there’s only two written so far! But no cliffhangers - this is an awesome standalone.

I super enjoyed the story and 4 stars all for the Hero. The heroine can be a bit annoying as she protested too long and even said she hated the hero but I understand where she is coming from. She was pissed because the hero lied by omission. In their planet, when you have sex then it means you’re married. Hero did not clarify that with heroine even though she told him she wanted to try dating earth-style first. Rest of the story is hero proving he’s gonna be a good husband and them taking some time to know each other.
There are really sweet moments and good jealous/possessive scenes. Definitely safe and alien hero has been celibate for almost 5 yrs.

I absolutely love it when I come across a story that surprises me. Alien romance is not typically a genre that I read, but because I love DD Prince’s other work, I had to give this a try. I was very pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think I’d be into it, and I totally was!
Jetta, along with several other women, is tricked into participating in what basically amounts to a breeding program on another planet.
This is a fairly quick read, which I finished in a few hours, but in that time the author manages to create this whole other world with a unique culture, language, and environment. Everything is described and explained thoroughly, there’s really no room for confusion (which I feel is a problem with a lot of the sci-fi genre.)
The aliens are hot and alpha, as the title states. Which is great, because one of my fears was that it was going to get weird. Like, I don’t know, the aliens would be covered in blue scales or have seven penises or something. Daxx is so alpha, but he’s also incredibly sweet and warm. I love that combination. It’s lethal. There’s also a good bit of humor as well.
Now, I’m looking forward to the other stories on this planet. I want to know what happened to the other women who were tricked into participating! I know DD won’t let me down. Five. Freakin’. Stars.

I am not normally into sci-fi or aliens but if this author wrote on a cereal box I would read it ! She writes the yummiest most possessive alpha-males and that is my crack!
The way she described the way things on this planet looked was so good that I could see it in my head . I could tell what these aliens looked like , what their clothes were like , and the funnest part was their technology. The machines that made their food or
the self cleaning kitchens. I want one of those closets !!!!!!
Oh it was so much fun to read this book. The story was awesome but I really enjoyed the way things looked and worked on Daxx’s planet. The little witty, quirky comments that were this author’s personality coming out in this book were totally a bonus .
If you like aliens and sci-fi this is an awesome read . If you have never tried them I suggest you start with this one. If you don’t care for aliens or sci-fi but want an incredible romance with alpha-goodness then this is the book for you!

Daxx and Jetta are from worlds apart but Daxx is determined to gain the love of the human he can't get out of him mind. This books is very different the not normal genre i normally read but from an author i love writting under a different name Scarlett Starkleigh (aka D D Prince) brings a hot Alpha Male Alien Humanoid and a Beautiful Human together, Jetta signs up for a college program to better herself and is thrust into space with a large group of other women. After Daxx planet gets hit by a bug that kills off most of there female's women of earth are the only compatible being to breed with so program D. This is an amazing book and i highly recommended reading it cannot wait for more

This book is 4.5 out of this world stars and a fantastic plot.
I absolutely love this authors books.
This book proves that no matter what genre D.D Prince (aka Scarlett Starkleigh) writes it will be a very well written story that will highly entertain you throughout.
I thought this book was hilarious and the storyline had me laughing away with Daxx and Jetta's antics.
Daxx Blackstar is definitely one hot alpha alien I'd like to meet as he's head over heels in love with Jetta and is totally swoon worthy.
Jetta is a sassy opinionated beauty who has a lot of the aliens vying for her attention.
This story is addictive and I can't wait to read more Hot alpha alien husbands and hopefully visit more with Daxx and Jetta.
I highly recommend you one click it straight away and spend time with hot aliens and beautiful sassy Earthlings you won't be disappointed.
