This review will contain certain spoilers
This is the kind of book I normally love. I have a thing for secret babies but this book was not the one for me. Around 20℅ in we learn that the H found out someone he was seeing was pregnant and he left her crying on the floor. I hate deadbeat dad's. This point I wanted to dnf but I stuck with it because it is a shorter book and I wanted to like it. I just couldn't connect to the H at all. The h was fine. The whole where they meet up to have sex everyday made me roll my eyes. No one noticed? No one heard anything even when she cannot contain how loud she is. None of this could happen in a jail. I think this book needs editing in a few spots I found some mistakes and that's not normally something I catch. I wish I liked this book like I said this is the type of book that I normally devour but I just couldn't stand the H.

Low grade entertainment
Simplistic and predictable. Not believable. Needs more development and research. Never happen in prison . Probably won't look for other books .

Good read
This book is really good. It grab me right in the beginning and kept me all the way through. The love scene are really hot. This book is a must read.

I have really enjoyed this story a lot more than I have expected and I wasn't expecting a story with a silver platter but exciting enough to enjoy the plot, characters and the sex scenes! Great read and well done, Alexis!

Kerri Curtis never thought she'd catch her boyfriend, Jonathan, cheating on her and when she goes back to work as a nurse in the infirmary of the San Simeon County Jail she is shocked that she has gotten the attention of one of the prisoners.
Lucien Stone is an innocent man in jail, but being the fall guy for a mob murder doesn't get you off very easily. When his roommate Spider has a plan to escape he knows he will do whatever it takes to get out.
Yet someone still wants Lucien to stay in jail and will he be able to protect Kerri when he realizes he cares more than he ever thought he would?
I liked this book but it was quite predictable and pretty unrealistic but it was a quick read.
I liked Kerri but I found she rebounded pretty fast and I felt she was pretty gullible and weak if she was so fast to move on and risk her job.
Lucien knew he had to get close to Kerri in order to escape from jail but he had no idea that he was going to develop feelings for her. Once he realized how he felt, he knew he had to protect her at any cost which resulted in her losing everything.
Lucien had a good friendship with Spider but at the same time Spider was most worried about himself and getting out of jail. Lucien had an enemy in Grinder but there were also some secrets revealed in the book at who else wasn't what they seemed.
The ending was predictable but enjoyable for a quick read.

The Medical Assistant is in the Danger Zone
Kerri's a medical assistant at a maximum security prison, and Lucien is an inmate she treats. Their attraction threatens both of them. There weren't a lot of new elements to this story, and there were enough spelling errors to justify an additional copy edit. The steam is high in this taboo romantic adventure, and although the scope of Lucien's world made sense given his situation, Kerri remained a little underdeveloped and she kept the naïveté longer than expected.

He plans to break out. An attempted escape by other prisoners helped by a dirty deputy warden fails and he escapes with Kerri.
All charges against Lucien were dropped and they live freely with a baby girl now

Good book
Bad boy meets good woman, decides to use her for his own gains, the twist being he's currently in prison. Good book, I like the variety of him currently being locked up.
Slight spoiler ahead:
My one issue is this is billed as a "secret baby" story, and for me, that means the daddy doesn't find out until mom is a out to give birth, or after she has given birth. Finding out a week (or whatever the timeline is) later does not, IMO, make this book a "secret baby" book.

If can ignore the unbelievable parts of the story, it's ok. It was okay - what really bothered me was there is a hidden alcove in the prison that no one knows about except Kerri the civilian nurse and Lucien the prisoner - they are able to secretly meet in this area and have a hot torrid sex affair??
Really?? there are unknown hidden areas that a prisoner can access? That bugged me throughout the story. Character development was pretty shallow, but the story was entertaining enough that I did read the entire book. Felt it was lacking enough to only rate it 3 stars.

The sex scenes in this book are super steamy! The story line isn't too bad either. The main character Kerri ends up falling for a prisoner, Lucien ( who claims to have been wrongly accused of murdering a mother and child). In the end the truth is revealed. Overall a good read!

Holy Crow!
This was my first book by the author and all I can say is, holy crow. This book was freaking hot with a capital H. I love how the author had the main characters meet and everything after. I will definitely read more books by Alexis Angel. If you haven't read Jailbait yet, you should and also, you might want a fan on while you read this book.

Sexy Jailbird
This was my first Alexis Angel book which lead me to read a great many of her works.
Sexy, dirty, man candy. I loved the Dirty talk and the instant spark of attraction between the two. I couldn't put it down, devouring it within a few hours while having my fan on high to try keeping me cool.

Beautiful story
I enjoyed reading this novel. It was surprisingly good. I thought it was going to be about Kerri and her cheating boyfriend but it wasnt. I enjoyed all the steamy sex and passion they had for one another. Not very realistic about a romance in jail but the fantasy was great. The only negative remark in have to make is that I wish the epilogue was a little longer.

I liked the stortline but I didn't know that it was so hot, almost too much scenes.
I would have loved more details about his life, who was after him?, who was the deputy warden's boss?, why him? his case, their life after they escaped.
I loved the final, the fact they made a happy life in mexico but I would have preferred more story apart their hot scenes.

What A Great Story
I drank a lot of water reading this one. It has everything love, sex, action, adventure. Lucien and Kerri I love their story. Yes the met in prison not ideal but that what makes it hot. The sex scenes like all of Alexis's books are steamy. I loved how they saved each other and made it work.

Good read.
I enjoyed the story of Kerri and Lucien, though not likely to really happen. The thought of a convicted but innocent person finally being vindicated is a nice change. I do believe there are women who fall for inmates but typically they aren't serving a life sentence, and they do have some semblance of a happy -ever-after. Again, a good read as a whole.

Steamy like the jail setting
Short enough . But it was incredibly sexy and steamy especially how they hooked up the first time and how strange that there’s this one area they could have sex in that has no cameras. The forbidden of it was was made it hot and the scenes were descriptive without being too much.

This was a really intense love story. It keeps you on the edge of your seat just waiting to see what happens next. And the hot steamy love scenes are going to make you WET. Great book!

Jailhouse rock never sounded so good
A forbidden romance, hot covict , broken lpn w/trust issues what doesn't this make. Other than a really awesome day time soap opera. Only problem is that the sex scenes are rated xxx, and soooo worth it.

This book was alright. A lot of misspelled words but had some good moments. It basically was the same old story of inmate and prison nurse hooking up, things happen and now HEA.

A short and steamy read that leaves you tingling in all the right places. It also had twists and turns that I didn't expect to see or read. I just had trouble liking the hero, he was sexy but I found it hard to like him other than that an amazing story

I purchased this book the same time I did Client 5. I have to start out by saying that I have never read I romance book like this. If you could not tell it take place in a corrections faulty. It is centers around Lucien Stone-Convict and Kerri Curtis-Nurse. I at first was not sure how this could be a romance and it has emotional pull on the heart-strings. It has fights and craziness. It was intense to say the least. I want to say I want and Alcove of my own. *wink wink*
There are a lot of twists and turns and ups and downs of all types that just seem to come at you from all sides. It keeps your heart rate up and you turning the pages. I don't want to give anything away. I just know I can't wait for more books by Alexis Angel. I have been reading all of her books and want to let you know that she is a brilliant author. Just read one book and you will be hooked. That was all it took for me. it was only two chapters. So get back to reading.
