Reviewers like to say I write about misfit heroines getting the man of their dreams. Maybe that's true, but don't we all feel like misfits sometimes? Even if the rest of the world thinks we have all our balls in the air, aren't we juggling like mad on the inside, desperately trying not to drop one?
I love this manic, scattered life I lead. I love to write, craft, garden, bake and mother, even if I don't always do it all perfectly. I love living in the Southwest, with its big sky and vast desert views. I love venturing out of my quiet life to meet readers and other writers, and then I love to come back to my haven, full of ideas and renewed passion and creativity.

I just finished reading The Imposter and my rating is based on that. It did not come up when I searched for that alone. (Only The Pretender did.) I have discovered Bradley's books only recently and am having a great time with all of her back list I can find. Apparently The Liar's Club series is a followup to an earlier series just as the Worthington series comes after this series. I've read all the Worthingtons and seem to be following her work in reverse order. It is working for me.
I've enjoyed every one I've been able to locate. Our heroine is a political cartoonist who has angered/threatened some of those she has characterized. As Rose she meets Monty. Both of them are spying on a wrongdoer when they cross paths in disguise. Clara and Dalton (their real names) are an interesting couple. I look forward to the rest of the Liar's Club series.
