Falling for Ruben

Rate this book
Can you really fall in love from just a photograph?

I know the pain love can bring — I’ve felt it before, and I’ve sworn never to feel it again.
Casual flings and easy nights are all I need.

Or so I thought.

Then she appeared — a shy brunette who stopped me in my tracks and made me feel everything I swore I never would.

She’s everything I didn’t know I was searching for.
But old habits die hard, and I might ruin us before we even begin.

Can I prove I’m worthy of her, or will I lose the one person who’s made me want more?
She’s innocent, untouched … and I’m falling fast.

Falling for Ruben is an emotional, small-town virgin romance and the next heartfelt instalment in Tracy Lorraine’s Falling series.

Emma by Tracy Lorraine a truly amazing five-star read. This is the fourth book in the Angel series as Molly the first book comes with part one and two and Abbi 1.5, Tracy Lorraine writes with such passion and grit that you can literary see the characters jumping off the page, I have finished the book and can’t wait to read the next book in the series Connie 2.5 and I can’t wait to sink my teeth into it, I want to read it nearly as much as I want to sink my teeth into the hot boys of this series. This book does contain scenes of a sexual nature and is suitable for mature readers only.
Emma Morrision lost her literal other half, her twin Hannah in a car accident and hasn’t coped well. Emma did the only thing she knows what to do, she ran away. She starts a new life in a village and cottage she has loved since she was four years old. She also finds a cute little Café in the village that after having coffee with Molly and Abbi they offer her services as the can see the owner Connie is rushed off her feet as her part time help hasn’t arrived, hopefully this will help Emma come out of her shell and build her confidence, something she hasn’t ever had, as Hannah was the tall pretty one, Emma has always seen herself as dumpy and curvy , But hopefully Emma can start to see herself as others see her, especially as one person see’s her.
Ruben Foster is on the other side of the world traveling with his best friend Fin when a photograph changes his world, Ruben has never wanted a woman for anything other than warming his bed, they are disposable in his eyes. Until he sets his eyes on the woman in that photo, he knows then something changes in him, he realises he must help her see herself as he sees her, even if his sister promises to do unimaginable things to his manhood if he ever hurts her, as Emma has started to become an important part of Connie’s life. Will Emma be able to help Ruben see that just because you see someone get their heartbroken doesn’t mean that it’s going to happen to you. Or is Emma to heart broken already to help someone else.
This book is so amazing; I am gutted its finished. There is one particular part in the book and it pretty much sums up why I love Emma so much as character and its when her and Connie are chatting boys, and Emma explains that the only boyfriends in her life are the fictional variety. Connie doesn’t quite get it, so Emma explains the difference in romance books. Then proceeds to order Connie a Kindle and gives her a huge list of books she must read. Emma is my spirit character, and quite possibly my favourite ever!!

I absolutely loved this book Emma and Ruben are amazing characters there storyline is amazing there wasn’t a point where I wasn’t interested in the novel I just couldn’t put it down the roll coaster of emotions running through the pages are phenomenal so many touching subjects which anyone can relate to which makes the storyline really comes to life.
Emma she's had it tough after she loses her twin sister in a tragic car accident shes not the same person anymore, she has absolutely no confidence due to her going from a size twelve to a sixteen in a year due to the depression of losing her sister but shes never felt good bout herself even when her sister was alive she think of herself as the plain one but she's anything but plain. Eventually she's had enough of self pity and decide to do something about her weight it helps that her friend Connie is super supportive, she takes up running and eats better again with Connie helping with some recipe as her brother is a healthy eater so she knows some stuff. Everything is a little better she has her best friend and her family losing weight starting to feel abit better in herself even though her confidence is still pretty much not existence but then she sets on Ruben who she think at first is Connie’s boyfriend but is in fact her brother who’s just back from Australia, she can't help but nearly swallowing her tongue and get rather hot hes a sex God and shes not prepared for the way he looks at her so she makes a excuse and run but want she don't know is he will catch her. ....
Ruben well he's a player he knows he is all the women he's been with knows the score so what shocks him is the intense feeling he gets when he see Emma for the first time he's never ever felt like it and it kind of throws him off his game. Emma is just wow to him so he waste no time in trying to get to know her so he uses helping her run with him so he can see her without come off as a creeper but he soon realise Emma is nothing like any woman he has met which pleases him but at the same time it terrifies him as its completely new territory he also realise she's hard nut to crack has walls built a mile high and he tries to break in but every time he takes 10 steps forward in getting through the wall he ends up taking another 20 back due to him either messing up which he a lot but at the same time Emma has insecurities which gets in there way too. Can Emma grow more confidence and trust in Ruben to build a relationship or is Ruben past always going to creep up and get in there way of happiness....

Emma (Angel Series #2) by Tracy Lorraine
5 out of 5 stars
This story ends in a cliffhanger….
We continue this series with Emma and I just simply loved it. Ms. Lorraine did a fabulous job with her writing and characters and the story line was awesome. In this story Ms. Lorraine shows us the passion, angst, heart gripping scenes, true friendship, and an alpha player turned to a one woman man. It gave the reader a rollercoaster of emotions that leave your reeling.
Emma starts her new life in a new village with having the intention of a quiet life while concentrating on her writing. She doesn’t expect to meet Connie, the quirky café owner where she has spent so much time, will become her new best friend, and that her Connie’s brother will spark something inside her that she didn’t ever think could be uncovered.
Will Emma be able to overcome her fear of loss and her lack of self-confidence to be able to let him in or will she push away the only man that’s ever made her feel alive?
How do you get over losing a twin? Can a twin fill in the gaping whole they feel when you lose your twin?
Ruben has been traveling Australia for the past six months. He has spent his time enjoying the easy life style and the even easier women. After witnessing the pain of a broken heart Ruben made the decision that he was never going let a woman in, he was content with letting them warm his bed and nothing more. His sister sends him a picture of a girl with light blue eyes and a curvy body and he thinks she is gorgeous.

Can Ruben put aside his fear of losing himself in a woman and accept that his future isn’t what he thought he wanted?

This series just keeps on getting better. Lorraine did a great job keeping all the characters new and exciting. Instead of sticking with siblings she is introducing new ones that intertwine into the stories she has already written. These two, Ruben and Emma as just hot. They clearly want each other but are too stubborn to just give it a chance. Emma is self conscience of her body and is also dealing with the loss of her twin sisters the year before. Instead of just talking about it with her new friend Connie or even her brother, Ruben, she keeps it all bundled inside. Then we have Ruben who's past depicts him as a ladies man who just has one thing on his mind. That is until he sees the picture of his sister's new friend Emma. Ruben also has some troubles of his own. Mostly being afraid to let anyone in, in fear that they will somehow hurt or leave him. Can these two work through their insecurities without being hurt?

In this book we get to understand Emma more who we have met in previous books. Poor Emma has struggles when she literally lost her other half when he sister sadly passed away in a car accident. We get to see the hardship that she has been through and how she still struggles daily with this loss.
She overcomes it by keeping busy, helping her new friend and trying to keep fit.
Her new friend has a very attractive big brother who is head overhills for her which she doesn't know as his sister sent him a photo of her. Once he meets her he 109% has fallen for her first. He will do anything to make her his.
They slowly start to build a relationship, however Emma still struggles with letting things happen and being happy. As memories of the last and her sister Hannah still plague her. They work together to understand each other with some hardships and moments Ur left like seriously 😂.
It's such a sweet story with the guy very much falling first and will not stop until the girl is his. If that sort of vibe if Ur thing then this book is for you. Also leave you on a cliffhanger. I know need to get the next book

It was a okay read. Not my favorite. If the main characters would just talk they wouldn't have many problems. I just don't like it when the main characters refuse to talk about things and just assume stuff. They always assume the worst and the heartache could be avoided if they just had a conversation.

I have absolutely fallen in love with the characters in the Angel series. I thought I would feel incomplete without Molly and Ryan, since they played a large part in Abby's story. I couldn't have been more wrong. Emma is such an amazing and captivating character all on her own.

Emma has been through a lot. Between dealing with survivor's guilt and watching her sister's boyfriend find happiness with their best friend, Emma is drowning. Knowing that she needs to get a grip on the life she has to lead Emma makes some changes. She moves into her own house and starts exercising. Little does she know her greatest challenge is just around the corner.

Emma's story hits really close to my heart. Everyday is a challenge when you can't accept who is staring back at you in the mirror, when you are constantly scared of getting hurt and when you don't realize the support system you have around you. Watching her blossom and grow throughout this story was great and heart wrenching at the same time. I cannot wait for the next installment in the Angel series. Tracy Lorraine has created characters that have burrowed deep into my heart!

“Emma” by Tracy Lorraine is an emotional journey about finding your way through grief to love.

Trying to rebuild your life while a major part of you is missing is a difficult task. Emma is in a new town hoping to make a fresh start, but her emotional scars run deep. No one there knows about her past, but it still has a strong hold on her. Emma vowed never to let any close to her again after the death of her twin and builds walls around herself to protect herself from experiencing pain further pain. But life doesn’t always play by the rules and a newcomer is determined to bring Emma to life again.

Ruben has been enamored of Emma since he saw a photo of her sent by his sister, Connie. And when he sees her in person for the first time he knows that he must have her. But she is unlike any woman that he met before. She is so entrenched behind her emotional walls he may never reach her. But Ruben isn’t about to give up when his heart is on the line.

I really enjoyed this installment of the series. At times, the push/pull between Emma and Ruben seemed never ending, but that is part of Emma being so removed from everyone. She hid in the shadow of her sister Hannah and never gained confidence in herself and doubted her self-worth. Emma had a difficult time believing someone as confident and attractive as Ruben would want her. I would’ve liked more memories of Hannah. The reader gets a few here and there, but not enough to fully understand why Emma retreated as much as she did. Most of what the reader learned about Emma’s backstory was picked up through the other books in the series. The author does a very good job of making Emma’s pain feel real to the reader and didn’t gloss over emotions to rush to a HEA. Even though I shouted at my Kindle a few times because of another roadblock between Emma and Ruben, it was well worth the wait.

“Emma” is the forth book in the Angel series even though it is named as book two. Technically it is a standalone, but the reader will miss a lot of backstory. “Molly” parts 1 & 2 and “Abbi” should be read first.

Hannah and Molly really wanted Emma to go to a birthday party of s someone she barely knew. She wanted to stay home and does her course work. But as usual she gave in to her twin sister and her friend Molly. At the party she found herself feeling invisible sitting in the corner of the lounge room. Emma had always felt the fat and ugly one when it came to Hannah and Molly; she had no self confidence or very little when it came to herself.
Sadly Hannah was killed in a car accident when she was taking Emma home, Emma was never the same again and she never forgave herself.

Emma missed Hannah and decided to write a book and Molly was reading it as it went and highlight places where editing needed to be done. Emma decided she needed a change so she bought Rose Cottage. The cottage she had loved since she was four and was excited to move in. She had totally refurbished the inside of the cottage and would be moving in shortly. Abbi, Molly and Emma where sitting in a nice little café in the village where she had bought her home. The owner Connie was run off her feet as her part time worker had called to say she would not be coming in. Being sorry for the delay in their order the girls had an extra plate of cookies. The girls noticed a photo on the wall behind the counter of a very good looking man and they all thought it was Connie’s boyfriend. In fact this hot man turned out to be her brother who at the moment was on a six month trip to Australia.

Leaving the café Molly and Abbi told Connie that Emma’s mother owned a café and that Emma would be a great help to her. Staying at the café with Connie Emma actually had a great time and after closing time the girls had dinner together. It didn’t take long for them to form a firm friendship. Connie’s brother Ruben had arrived home a day early to surprise his sister and she nearly knocked him off her feet when she saw him in her café. Ruben also noticed the girl in the photo his sister sent him was standing behind the counter. Ruben had known there was something special about this girl as soon as he saw her photo, he also knew she was nothing like the one night stands he usually had. So why was he now wanting to get to know her, knowing it would be more than a one night stand. Emma did not want a man or a relationship her walls were built pretty solid. Connie had told him you hurt her and she would badly hurt him. He had no intention of hurting her so why did things always go wrong, where Emma was upset and he had to find ways to bring her walls back down.

Emma: Angel book # 2 by Tracy Lorraine
I give it 5/5 stars

** This is the fourth book in this series. It can be read as a standalone. But I highly recommend you read all the books in proper order. I promise you, you will not be disappointed. You'll absolutely love this series just as much as I do!!

Oh man, This story is simply phenomenal !! It has taken me a couple days to compose what I want to say in this review. This book has made me think and feel things, in more ways than I can truly understand. Out of Abbi, Molly and Emma… I definitely connect more with Emma than any other character. We have a lot in common. I feel a lot like she does, in the book. Which is a bit difficult to say out loud.
Emma is a beautiful woman, as she is on the outside as she is on the inside. But one thing… she doesn't see herself as beautiful on the outside. She think she's overweight and plain. She feels she isn't good enough… not pretty enough, and not skinny enough.
She is still dealing with the aftermath of losing her twin sister, Hannah. She is trying her hardest to deal with all the grief and sadness as best as she can. She moved to a new house and she's even in the process of writing her very first book. She is doing the very best she can. She feels she doesn't need a man in her life to be happy. She is quite content with being single. Until Ruben…
Ruben doesn't have the best reputation with woman. He's often known as a womanizer. He even knows about his reputation and doesn't even care. He feels like he only has one use for woman… he uses them and then disposes of them. Until he meets Emma…
This is a story about Emma and Ruben’s journey. It is like riding an emotional roller coaster. You'll laugh and then cry. There's a lot of ups and downs, twists and turns in this book. You will not be disappointed in any way whatsoever!!
I have read this whole series. And I have to say Emma, is my absolute favorite… so far!! Emma and I are a lot alike in many ways. This book made me feel things I haven't felt in years.
Tracy Lorraine has a way of writing … that sucks you in immediately. Once you start reading , you have a difficult time putting the book down. I adore books like that!! She is an amazing author, with such a talent at writing about these characters with such depth and attitude. I seriously can not wait to read the next book. I'm patiently waiting on pins and needles over here!! Keep up the wonderful books and characters. I can't wait to read about Connie’s story.

Losing your best friend is hard. When she happens to be your twin sister is a heart wrenching pain. That is what happened to Emma. After this loss she decides it's time to move to another town and start fresh. Besides she needs a quiet life to concentrate on her writing. In her quiet and new life she meets Connie. Who just so happens to be the quirky café owner where she has spent so much time. She also never expect that Connie’s brother Ruben would ignite something inside her. It was feelings that she thought died along time ago.
Ruben has spent the last six months travelling Australia. Where he has been living the easy lifestyle with even easier women. Ruben has made the decision to never let a woman in after witnessing the the pain that came with a broken heart. He likes just having a woman used as a way of warming his bed. What he did not expect is a photograph that would knock him on his butt and turn his world upside down.

I can't imagine losing a sibling, let alone if that sibling was my twin. Emma was so full of confidence and care free, but after losing her sister she is kind of subdued. She lacks the fire in her eyes. I can totally see why she needs that quiet life. And fresh start. Being in the same town you with constant reminders of your loss is heartbreaking. I'm not ashamed to admit i ugly cried in this book. I cried so hard at a point that i couldn't read in between my tears. I feel that Ruben’s easy lifestyle is exactly what she needs to get to the old Emma. I also feel Emma’s quiet lifestyle is what Ruben needs to calm himself down. They are each others yin and yang. Now if only their stubbornness wouldn't keep getting in the way. Now Connie that is one woman i want to have a drink with. She is who you want to have your back even if you do have a thing with her brother.

Tracy Lorraine writes book that twist at your heart. They are emotional and leave you in such a book coma it's hard to get out of it. Her books play out like a movie in my mind. Its a movie i don't want to stop. I know who would play each character. I just couldn't put the book down. The twist and turns with the unanswered than answered questions is wild. I'm a fan for life of Tracy Lorraine.

Emma by Tracy Lorraine is book 4 in the Angels series. We meet Emma in all the other Angel books but now we have her story.

Emma shut herself off to the world after the loss of her twin sister, in a big depression she runs and hides. Devastated that she has lost her other half of her, her sister’s boyfriend is now engaged to her sister’s best friend and Molly is pregnant, she buys a cottage she has wanted since she was four years old. She found relief in writing a novel about her sister. One day she is in the local café when the owner Corrine needs a hand, having worked at her mother coffee shop since forever she lends a hand. Not looking for friendship she is shocked to realise she has just formed one. Corrine is excited that her brother is finally coming home from Australia after six months. One day Emma is in the café when a god walks in and asks for Corrine, she can’t move or speak, she has never felt this way about a man, she has never been with a man, but she wants to be with him.

Ruben spent a long time using woman, one night that’s all he wants and as soon as they are done they can leave and not look back. After being away for six months he wants to see his sister but what he finds in the most beautiful woman he has ever seen, she has the best curves he has ever seen, and he wants her.

Knowing Ruben’s past can Emma overlook it? Can she trust him when many obstacles come in their way? Will she keep running or will she stand up and fight?

Tracy Lorraine has done it again! She keeps throwing the curve balls in her stories that never fail to grip the reader. I thought Molly was great, Thought Abbie was better but Emma has superseded them all. She has turned Emma’s tragic story into a brilliant read and given her character justice, rather than make her a weak depressed person she shows her as a strong amazing woman who is true to life, she has the same hang ups that normal woman has and I think therefore I was drawn to Emma from page one. I love hoe we still have all the characters from the previous books still making an appearance but not over shadowing the main book heroin. I have a feeling this series is going to keep on getting better, and I for one can’t wait for the next book.

I am not sure what I expected from Emma by Tracy Lorraine. Emma didn’t really grab my attention in the previous books but I was pleasantly pleased to read about her.

Emma grows up with a twin, Hannah who we meet in Molly Book One. We know Emma suffers the loss of her twin but don’t get the full effect of that loss from Emma until now. Growing up she has always been self-conscious of her looks and learns from a young age to hide into the background of life. Hannah and Molly are the attention grabbers and Emma doesn’t think she’s beautiful enough to get the attention that her sister and friend get. After the loss of her sister she completely closes off to the world and focuses on a new venture, writing. She’s closed off and struggles with lifelong friendships and remind us of the turmoil some of us face. However, Emma becomes friends with Connie a local bakery owner.

Ruben, Connie’s brother is back from Australia and ready to take over the family business so that their dad can retire. Ruben is easy on the eyes and enjoys his women just as easy. He doesn’t understand the draw he feels towards Emma but his protectiveness of her is just as fierce as it is with his sister. Ruben is a good guy and tries everything he can to prove to Emma that they are good together.

There are a few moments in the book that I grew frustrated with these two because of their stubbornness and dumb decisions. But as I continued to turn the pages, I understood why they made the decisions they did. And even though these two knew they would need to fight to show the other what they meant to each other – sometimes I thought the fight would be a little harder.

Emma is told in dual points of view and the characters are well developed. They are real and as in the previous books there are real life people we know that we see in Ms. Lorraine’s stories. Emma’s story also made me cry, so you know it was good.

Tracy Lorraine pulls emotions from your heart and twirls them around. You are at her mercy when you read her stories. Ms. Lorraine is an author I was surprised to be introduced to this year and can’t wait for more from her. She is an author that will keep me coming back.

Emma: Tracey Lorraine

Tracey Lorraine's story Emma is an emotional journey about a young woman who is trying to rebuild her life after suffering through a traumatic experience. Emma is trying to find her way through life, and decides that starting over in a new town would help. Luckily no one knows about her past but that doesn't matter because her scars run deep and her past has a huge hold on her. Emma vowed to never let anyone close to her again because after losing her twin, she doesn't think that she could handle another loss. But life has a funny way of messing up everyone's plans.

Emma meets Connie, who owns the café that Emma has been spending a lot of time at and Connie and Emma become best friends. What Emma doesn't count on is Connie's brother Ruben, when she first meets him, she's blown away by how much he effects her.

Ruben's spent the last six months traveling across Australia, and he's enjoyed the easy life and women. When his sister showed him a picture of Emma, he was blown away by the feelings he had. When he arrives home from Australia he never thought she would be the first person he saw. Now that he's seen her in person, he wants her more than ever.

Can Emma overcome her fear of loss and let someone else in? Will she push him away? Can Ruben risk his heart for her? Can the two of them work through their own issues to find happiness?

This was an amazing addition to the Angel series, and I cannot wait to see what comes next! I would recommend this book to everyone!

Emma is the fourth book in the Angel series by Tracy Lorraine and I think to fully understand the story you need to have read the previous books, Molly Part 1 & 2 and also Abbi. I have read all the previous books and I have to say Emma’s story was maybe the one I was most looking forward to because I had a feeling that it was going to show her character in a completely different way to how she came across in Molly’s story. I have to say I was completely blown away with this book; there were certainly a few tears from me! I was completely hooked from the very first page and it was definitely my favourite from the series so far.
Previous readers of this series will know that Emma suffered a devastating loss when her twin sister Hannah was killed in a car accident and this story is about her trying to build a new life in a new village whilst trying to come to turns with losing her other half. She decides to concentrate on her writing and leading a quiet life but what Emma doesn’t expect is Connie, the owner of the coffee shop where she has been spending a lot of time, to become her new best friend or that her brother Reuben will ignite a spark in her that she didn’t ever think could be lit.
This story had so many different angles and issues in it but they all tied together beautifully. Not only is poor Emma dealing with her loss but also with her lack of self-confidence she just cannot see why Reuben would like her with the way she looks. She is so frightened of losing more people and having her heart broken that she pushes Reuben away constantly but he doesn’t give up and that is when Reuben became my favourite character in this series! Yes he had a reputation but he did everything he could to prove to Emma that he thought she was beautiful just the way she was. I loved how he opened up to her about what happened in his childhood in order for her to feel comfortable enough to talk about Hannah and what happened.
I think it’s safe to say Tracy Lorraine has become one of my go to authors and I can’t wait to read the next instalment in this series, Connie’s story!

Emma (Angel Book 2)
By: Tracy Lorraine
5 out of 5 stars

The story Emma (Angel Book 2) by Tracy Lorraine is a contemporary romance book. Emma has decided that it is time to move on from the devastating loss of her twin sister. She has started a new life in a new village and is concentrating on her writing. She didn’t expect to find a new best friend in Connie, the quirky café owner where she spends so much time. Ruben is Connie’s brother. He has just returned from Australia where he lived an easy lifestyle. He made the decision that he was not going to let a woman into his life after witnessing the pain of a broken heart. That is until he sees a picture and meets Connie. Is he willing to put aside the life he is leading for one that he didn’t think he would ever want? Can Connie overcome her lack of self-confidence and fear of loss to let Ruben in, the only man who has ever made her feel alive?

What an amazing romance story! Connie and Ruben are such different people however once they meet the attraction is instant. Both of them have had events happen in their past that shapes the way their relationship develops, it is not always a good thing. Connie is coming to grips with her twin’s death and she doesn’t believe that any man would want to be with her. Ruben is such a player, he never gets close to anyone so that he can’t be hurt. As with any relationship, misunderstandings abound. Ruben and Connie have friends and family that love them and want them to be happy. They come to their defense and offer a listening ear. They also are not shy about telling them when they have made a mistake. I like the author’s writing style which has you so enthralled with the story and characters that you leave all your cares behind. It is like spending a day with friends, you don’t want it to end. Of course, this story has plenty of romance, very hot and steamy romance.

I highly recommend this book and the series. The characters crossover or at least are referred to in each book so one book may give you background information into the main characters in another. There is adult language and situations which would make this a perfect read for those 18 years or older.

Emma by Tracy Lorraine was an emotional 5 star read.

Emma is trying to move forward after her sister’s death. She has just bought her own home and is writing. She ends up meeting Connie and starting a new friendship. She has always been insecure about her weight and looks and has a hard time letting people in so this is a big step for her. Than she meets Connie’s brother Ruben, there is something about him that draws Emma in. Emma decides to go on a diet and starts running, Ruben joins her for her daily runs when he can. As they start to get to know each other Emma starts to feel things that make her uncomfortable so she tries to distance herself from him.

Ruben is confused as to why Emma is pushing him away. He can’t get her out of his mind which is a first for him. He is usually a one night stand man, but the partying is starting to feel old to him and he starts seeing a future with Emma. These two are very stubborn and a perfect match for each other. Can he convince her to give him a chance?

How is it the only girl I’ve ever wanted has to be the most complicated one I’ve ever met!

There is so much more that goes on. The twist and turns made me an emotional wreck and I had a few ugly cry moments. Will these two get their crap together and finally get together?
I really enjoyed all of the secondary characters especially Connie. Molly and Dec were great as well. Tracy does a great job of pulling you right in with her writing. I have read the other books in the series and love them as well. I look forward to reading more from Tracy. 1-click and get started today on this great series. Keep the kleenex handy.

Emma by Tracy Lorraine is book two in the Angel Series. When Emma’s twin sister dies in a car crash, she feels lost and alone. When her family tries to understand what she is going through, she pushes them away. When she moves to the little town that her grandparents lived in and into her new house, she feels a little bit more like her old self. When she and Molly and Abbi are at the coffee shop that she spent most of her time at, she meets Connie. They fast become friends and she offers to help Connie out occasionally at the coffee shop. When Ruben comes back home, Emma feels a connection that she tries to fight. When things start happening with Ruben and Emma, Connie thinks it’s a wonderful thing for them both. What Connie and Ruben don’t know is that Emma’s twin sister, Hannah was killed in a car accident. When their birthday rolls around, Emma doesn’t want to spend it with anyone because she thinks it would be hard on her. When her parents show up to give her presents and they discover that Emma had lied to them, they start worrying about her. Ruben has an idea where she might be and goes to get her. When he finds her, they go back to her house and she opens up to him about what happened. In the end, after everything that Emma has went through she finally finds love and happiness for herself.
Tracy Lorraine is a magnificent and talented writer. Emma’s story will have you crying before you get halfway through because it is so close to real life, it’s hard to put the book down. Tracy Lorraine will have you laughing, crying, and even talking to the characters in her books before you finish the first chapter.
This novel hit close to home because it was like reading about me. When I lost my best friend, it was hard to think that anything good would come of it. There are times, like Emma, that I felt that whatever I did wasn’t right and that I wouldn’t find happiness again. Just like Emma in the novel, I found what I was looking for and don’t plan on ever letting it go.

Emma by Tracy Lorraine is a five star follow up novel in the Angel series. This book is much better read once the other books have been read. Emma is a twin, well, was a twin. She doesn't even know if she can still classify herself as one. Her sister Hannah was killed in a car accident. Tall, blonde, beautiful Hannah was taken too soon and she had to learn how to deal with it. All her life she had been the heavy one. She looked ok, but never a stunner like her sister and her sister’s best friend Molly. She knew she would be alone forever because of how she looked, but she had grown past that to where it hardly bothered her anymore. She decides to buy a cute little cottage so she can settle down close to her family after the accident. As she wrote her book, she started spending a lot of time in a little coffee shop close by. After several months, Molly tells her she should see if the owner needed a little extra help. Connie, the owner of the coffee shop, was a friendly young single who looked frazzled. When Emma tells her she can help out, she finds herself with a new best friend. Over the course of the next month, Emma feels like she has known Connie her whole life. The only thing she hasn't shared with Connie is her sister and the accident. Connie’s brother, Ruben, is due home in a few days and Emma is happy to be able to see him home with his family. When he walks into the coffee shop to surprise Connie, Emma is the first thing he sees. They can't take their eyes off each other. Emma has never felt this way before and doesn't even know what it is she is feeling. Ruben knows he wants to see more of Emma. He ends up helping Emma with her new running regime. She has lost some weight and is feeling fantastic. As her and Ruben hang out more, they can't deny the attraction they have but Emma is scared. She doesn't know how to act or what to do, so she tries to stay away from him.

Emma (Angel Book 2) by Tracy Lorraine is the fourth book in the Angel series. This story is about starting over again and learning to trust. This story is excitement, compassion and sadness. This story will show what happens when you start your life over again after healing from tragedy.

Emma is a young woman who has decided that it is time to move on after the tragedy in her life. She buys a cottage in a small town where she wants to just concentrate on her writing. What she doesn't expect to find is a new friend who has a hot, sexy brother. What will happen when they meet? Will she feel she is good enough for him? She has suffered so much loss, will she take a chance on him? Will she over come her fears? Will he be good for her self-confidence?

Ruben has been traveling around Australia and now has come home. He has been hurt in the past and has been content to not let anyone in and just use the women he comes in contact with. When he meets her, will she change all that for him? Will he change the plans he has made for himself? What he does know is that he has to have her. Will he win her over? When she pushes him away will he go back for more?

Emma and Ruben's story is one of learning to trust someone else with their hearts. Will they give their hearts to each other? Will he convince her that he is not the person she thinks him to be? Will they have a future together?

This is my fourth story by Tracy Lorraine. Tracy lives in Cotswold village in England with her husband and her dog. They are currently awaiting their first child. The stories in this series have pulled you into their lives and this one is no different. Emma and Ruben's story is will have you turning page after page, wanting to find out what happens with them. I highly suggest this story as I know you will love it as much as I have.

Well, I feel like I read this book several times and it just sprouted in different directions with each story! Crazy I know! The main story is very emotional, thought provoking, a page-turner, and so much more! This story is titled, “Emma” who was a twin sister to a woman who met with a horrible fate several stories before this one. The author, Tracy Lorraine obviously spent some time writing how all the characters were dealing with the devastating event that occurred in their lives! How it affected their relationship with each other and with other people who they encountered in their journey to heal! I definitely cried, laughed, and smiled at different moments in the story. My emotions were even more so, because I have read each story prior to this one!

I am glad a book was written focusing on Emma! Since, Emma was an intricate part in the original story. It would make sense. I think the male character named, Rueben was described as quite sexy and interesting and perfect for the delightful Emma! Of course, both Reuben and Emma are wounded souls for different reasons. I was hoping for the best! Since, this story took so many twist and turns through all the books, I just was not sure of the outcome! The author did a nice job of building up her story between the two main characters! I think this story was just as nicely as the rest of the other books. The characters connected well with the dialogue from each person in the story. As always the author did a WONDERFUL job pulling all the characters and story together!

I am giving this story 5 stars! I think it the story was written well. Good description. The author was able to describe the story in such a way it gave me the reader a good visual of what was going on! My emotions for the characters were real in a way.

Emma by Tracy Lorraine
5 Stars
Wow, just wow. Emma by Tracy Lorraine just blew me away. I've read this series from the beginning and this book ripped my heart out more than any previous books. Of course it got put back together but I was on the edge of my seat the entire time waiting for more heartache, just in case.
We met Emma in previous books, Molly and Abbi, but we finally get to see her through her own eyes and how painful that was knowing what we already knew a little about. Emma suffered a loss no one could ever imagine going through, unless you are a twin yourself. And she's never been the same. She closes off all emotions and turns to the old mantra of waiting for the bad to happen. When she meets Connie they become fast friends. Connie was good for Emma and Emma in turn was also good for Connie as she became herself again. When Ruben, Connie's brother, returns home its the first time Emma has a feeling she can't overcome, lust.
Ruben has a type he likes, doesn't mean he chooses it often as he's not picky, but the moment he saw a picture of Emma he was attracted to her curves. When he starts to help Emma with her runs and getting to know her in the process, he's even more attracted to her. If only she would stop running away from every move he made. Ruben doesn't make the best choices and it broke my heart for the both of them. But the one thing I loved about Ruben the most was he didn't let Emma talk badly about herself. Since Emma has captured his heart, Ruben will stop at nothing to make her see she's it for him.
I can't say enough about this book but I don't want to spoil anything so I will stop here. This is probably my favorite of the series and that's saying ALOT. I was put through every emotion and came out the other side so much different . Cannot wait for Connie and Fins story!!!!

Emma by Tracy Lorraine is a great romance novel. It is book 2 in the Angel series, and is not made to be a stand alone novel. It should be read after Molly (part 1 and 2) and Abbi, so you have a better understanding of the characters and their back story. I got pulled into this book, just as I have all of Tracy's. I loved the characters and the subtle but sweet love story that unfolds. I give this book a 5 star review, and I cant wait to read the next book in the series.
Emma moves to a small village where she can focus on her writing and escape the painful memories of the loss of her twin. She has struggled her whole life with her body image, always comparing herself to her thin and pretty twin, where as she is shorter and more curved. She has never had a real boyfriend, and has no self confidence. She pushes away most everyone, but makes a new friend in town- the owner of the coffee shop she frequents. Connie becomes one of her best friends, and when her brother returns home from holiday, Emma cant take her eyes or mind off him. She had always planned on staying single for life, but this guy is making her change her plans and making her feel things she never felt or planned to feel. Before she can be happy, she needs to accept that someone may want her and get over the fear of being hurt.
Ruben has been in Australia for the last six months with his best friend, partying and surfing. He has a history of one night stands, and never keeps the girls around long enough to develop feelings. This has kept his life fun and protects his heart from being broken. He has no plans of changing that, until he meets Emma. Something unleashes when he sees her, and he cant control himself, and slowly changes his lifestyle and entire way of viewing the world. Is this one girl worth changing himself for?

I enjoy this authors work. The story flows every nicely and the characters are flawed in a very believable way. This story wasn’t a favorite of mine but it was still a good one. Emma is the quite stay to themselves type of person. She has body image issues and a very bad habit with putting herself down. She wasn’t looking for a forever because her life was ok. She was missing her other half when her twin sister Hannah died. Now here walks in tall, dark and omg hot Rueben. Who changes not only her outlook of her life but opens doors for her in a way she never dreamed. Who knew that just being you would bring a player to his knees. Rueben first seen Emma when his sister Connie sent pictures when he was away in Australia. He knew then that she was perfect and it was even more of a hit when he walks into his sisters café and sees her for the first time. His first instinct was to check out the rack typical guy lol.
I honestly didn’t like Emma all that much. She reminded me of myself. I love to read and if I ever get the chance to see all my favorite authors I will have a fan girl down melt down lol. I’ve had moments where I couldn’t believe my husband wanted me and it took some getting use to. I didn’t like how she never really believed Rueben. He never gave her any reason to doubt him but when ever something came between them she was quick to believe the worse. She hurt him more than he ever hurt her. How is it you get depressed over him trying to move on when you are the one pushing him away? If I was Rueben I would’ve gave up. Not because she isn’t worth the stress and his love was real but because she was so negative about him. She couldn’t see past his past. When you care about someone and can clearly see them trying to do right you don’t put them down.
