Luke Montgomery never forgot Isla Banks after she left Piersville to go to college. When she came back, he knew that he finally had his chance to show her that this was the real deal, but after his accident, believing the worst, Isla goes to Singapore to represent the Montgomerys business and to heal her broken heart. Waking up to find Isla gone, Luke starts to plan how to fix the damage to their relationship and how to get her back for good. Watching as she becomes ill thousands of miles away from him, he knows that he has to be with her now and goes against Doctors orders to get to her. After an attempt on his life back home, he takes Isla and hides in Indonesia determined to protect her and their future from whomever is set on killing the Montgomerys. The grudge against them has been stepped up and now people are getting badly injured and they look set on killing as many people as possible. Back home the sabotage continues and the Prices and Montgomerys have joined forces to track down who is responsible, but finding people who don't want to be found proves easier said than done. And is it just one person or are there more people set on destroying them?
I’m a British author who grew up all over the world. My parents were diplomats, so we were posted to all of the corners of the earth and it was a blast. Some wouldn’t seem so awesome if you heard about them, but my parents always made it a fun experience and it molded my brother and I into who we are today.
I live in Wiltshire in the west country of the UK. At random times of the day, I’ll hear a moo from the fields around me, or get a whiff of that…uhhh…’country air’, and I love it! I might not have grown up in the UK, but I’m a British girl to the bone (regardless of the suspicious whiffs coming in from the fields).
I’m a single mother with a son who is nearing his teenage phase. Maybe he’s reached it early? Who knows. But he’s awesome and has a personality and sense of humor that I can only attribute to my family. We’re slightly bonkers, we have a wicked sense of humor and we find the positives in every situation. I’m so proud to be his mum and to watch him grow and mature.
Writing was something that I’d always done. I had a teacher in the third grade who always set us the task of writing a story and making it into a book every weekend. After I left school, I kept this up and wrote as often as I could or just plotted out books. This evolved into me taking the plunge and publishing my first book in 2016 and I’ve been typing ever since.
I’m proud to be an Indie Author, and I absolutely love writing out my crazy Providence characters and the more complex ones in my other series’. It doesn’t matter if it’s romantic comedy or something with more suspense – so long as it has a HEA I’ll do it!
I’ve got so many more planned, so the best is yet to come.
I really should have checked up on the safety of this book before reading it. THIS BOOK IS NOT SAFE These are the "Awesome" words said by the hero Luke to Isla about his consistently unfaithful behavior in their past. “Isla, I haven’t been a saint. You know that and I know that, but they weren’t you. You are different, you’ve always been different.” “Isla, there won’t be a third time; that I can swear on everything. And before you say anything, no, it’s not because of the babies.” Proving that he could read faces. “I have loved you since we were kids. I fucked up in high school at the prom and I fucked up not being honest with you over Kendal, but I’m not going to fuck up again.” HERO IS A CHEATING ASS Furthermore, the story was so hard to follow. With multiple POV, I was in everyone head including a stalker!! Honestly, this has to be the biggest bunch of poorly constructed story telling bull I have ever had the misfortune to read about.
I was mostly going WHAT? "And The windmill-penis vs unicorn-penis" was just about the weirdest thing I have ever read in a story. What did any of this have to do with the story here? And the birthing "shitting" comments are just not funny to me here. It's a fact of most natural births and they turned it into this weird running joke thing! WOW ARE WE TWO NOW! I felt like I was in a poorly constructed soap opera with sex, verbal and physical abuse, bombs, vilains, and secret plots. This story made no sense what so ever to me! I am so sorry I picked up this one. It was so not for me. I thought it would be funny and cute with the whole rom-com thing but it really failed for me here. NEVER AGAIN FOR ME HERE!
This series is so strange. The amount of drama is so over the top that the people from the Mexican Soap Operas and the Japanese Game Shows co-wrote a note telling the author that she needs to take it down a notch.
Why all the bombs? What did this guy in a pear suit do?
Speaking of bombs, in this book there are at least four bombs that go off, and several shootings. And, that's just the action in the background of the romance. The level of romance drama is at teenage-emo level.
This book was admittedly better than the first one, at least. The writing has smoothed out a little bit and there is less mystery "humor" where I had no idea about why the characters were hysterically laughing. I'm guessing the reason they laugh until tears are running down their faces about nothing at all is because of the stress from all of the bombings and shootings. These people are justifiably just a few steps away from a padded cell. Maybe they won't get shot in there for a change.
Yeah, I might need one of those because I'm going to keep reading this series. It's like a train wreck that I can't look away from.
I Loved this book and look forward to the rest of this series. Luke Montgomery is one hot alpha guy with a gooey loving center. He Loves Isla even though he messes things up a time or two Luke proves to be the man she loves and needs. This book is well written with good pace and flow. The sexy times are hot and often. These characters grab you right from the beginning and never let you go. I Loved the exotic locals these lovers find themselves in. The deadly saboteurs add a tense mystery that you will puzzle over and root agaist. Mary B. Moore writes smart sexy books that have characters who you will cry with , root for and yell at and laugh out loud so loud that people will look at you funny. Mary B. Moore is a define auto buy for me
Loving this series! It has a great cast of characters and while there is suspense it's the hilarious moments that stick in ur head. Isla and Luke are so cute together. I will say read book one first. The story continues with this book and while the main couple is Luke and Isla u still get the whole gang. On a side note I cannot wait for Coles book. U just know something happened to him and I can't stand not knowing! Write faster Ms. Moore lol!
ARC Review...."More Than Forever" picks up where "Forever Mine" leaves off, and you better have all snacks and beverages in place, you will NOT be able to put your device of choice down!! Prepare for the unexpected, zany antics, danger, drama, and some new faces to appear. Mary gives Luke and Isla their HEA, but does not forget Ren and Maya, and prepares you for Cole and Ebra!! In "More Than Forever", Luke has MESSED UP, several times! He has a tough hill to climb to gain Isla's trust, but he has never lost her love. With the danger lurking and enemies getting to close, Luke must mend broken trust and keep Isla safe! I do not want to give away any surprises, but will say....When you read "THE SCENE" that left me gasping for breath, from laughing so hard....you will know it!! LOL Mary's sexy characters and belly busting whit, make you want to crawl in the book and be part of the group! Thank Goodness will not have to wait long for Book 3!!!
Liked these two together. Lots of humor which I love in books. Cole is a hoot! Lots of drama. A cliffhanger. But this book is finished with the romance part.
Might be a spoiler:
Have 2 thoughts. I really don't like in any book where the male character says I've always loved you but never gets with the female character until years later while the male is screwing other people until they finally years later get to together. To me that's not love but a male sewing his oats. In the book the stepmother and stepsister get out of jail buy the bad man paying their bail. So what's stopping it again with Dick? They just turn him over.
Isla took a second chance on Luke after he broke her heart in high school. A disaster happens that leaves Luke in a coma and Isla finds herself realizing that Luke was keeping a secret that has her fleeing and creating distance. When Luke wakes up though the first thing he wants to know is where Ilsa is. When he finds out she left he hops the private plane only to find that she is pregnant and still untrusting of him. Luke knows Ilsa is his one and will do everything he can to prove to her but danger lingers and could put them in danger.
This was highly entertaining. I was curious as to what the back story of Luke and Ilsa was and there is a lot to it. All the characters are back and had some hilarious moments to keep me entertained.
Honestly, I skimmed more than half of this book. It’s so OTT with the drama and games that I can’t even pretend to care. I was hoping to find that this book was a little more coherent and a lot less scattered, but no such luck. I’m not even interested in the rest of this series. The only two I have any interest in now are Ava and Mace, and I’m sure that even their story would be a jumbled mess.
I absolutely adore Luke and Isla!!! I loved the romance that surrounded this couple!! Luke has made makes mistakes in their relationship, but fights hard to right his wrongs!! He does everything in his power to love and protect Isla!! Once again the characters rock!! Another fantastic by Mary B Moore!!!
the first time, i just read it until chapter.. 7? 8? then stop. why? bcoz it's soo weird. the plot/flow is hard to follow. and everyone who is anyone is talking and having their own pov. i mean.. i need to write down which is who and who is whom? and the drama/plot is like.. one of those tv drama that need a rating so they did everything to make it there's a problem. it's just... to many people. Oh, and i dont think this book is stand alone. it's weird. this is a series, but i looked up to other, it has it's own FMC and MC. so when i pick this one, i though it can be read as stand alone book. but it's not. you dont knw anything about their background. wht happened in high school? (the H seems to be cheat on h in high school, and she give him a 2nd chance.) and then why there's bombing her and there? are their a mafia family? or what? and then... there's Sinagpore. the country in which the h and H is mostly be. and all those asian name (not to be racist. this is just my difficulties) is hard to follow. one moment there's this person, then come the other one and the other, and i forgot who is this? also, did i mentioned too many characters? A LOT!!! and they have their own thought! my god! this is like a mixed of soap opera meets chinese drama. for those who knw, chinese drama tend to have a looonggggg eps. and the author seems to be like traveling to asian country for her experience, coz it reflected alot ini this book. our H n h right after sing goes to Lombok, Indonesia. for undercover for their safety. again. i still dont knw whayyyy... whts the background? none. it felt like we need to read book 1st, bcoz ofc there might be lots of character in book 1 too, and our H and h probably one of those characters in book 1 who hv their own chapters. again.... please dont do this. dear author.. im confused... owh.. why did i re read this..
*WARNING* intended for mature audiences Oh my gosh, I ❤ these characters!! These need to be read in order to keep up with all things going on though. Cole continues to make me laugh. The storyline is interesting and easy to follow. It's interesting and easy to read. I have already downloaded the next one because I have to know who is behind the bad stuff and why.
This just feels way too drawn out. It's hard to believe this is only book 2 and I really, REALLY hope this isn't going on through the remainder of this series.
I do like how many POVs are being worked in and wish this was so through all the books in other series. Sweet story and author always does great characters.
This is the second book I've read by this author, and I’m enjoying this series so far. I love the characters and their antics a lot. Cole is definitely a favorite, so with his book being next, I’m ready! My only issue is the threat and needing it to be rectified or progress a little faster. All in all, this has been a fun ride.
My word! I have sore sides from laughing at the crazy hilarious scenes and red eyes from the sad and worrisome scenes. I wish I had been part of those families.
This is the second book I have read by this author. I have enjoyed this as well as the first one.I love to find new authors and see where they take me.
Oh my gosh after reading Forever Mine I could not wait to read Luke and Islas story I would definitely recommend on reading book 1 before you read this I mean why would you skip that one . I loved Isla she was such a great heroine we get a little bit of her past I felt so bad for her and the way she grew up was truly heart breaking , we also finally get to see what Luke did to have her run away . I had a love hate relationship with Luck in Forever Mine but in this one I was fully head over heals in love with him he was very protective of the heroine he didn't want anything bad to happen to her . We also get to see that someone is after this family a lot of "accidents " happen that put this awesome family in danger . I love all the characters they just have me swooning at the romantic things the men do and say and laughing so hard and when Cole is in a scene I know I need to prepare myself for his crazy antics that he finds himself in . I can not wait to see what is to come at what is going to happen copy provided for honest review **************************************** hero = 10+ heroine = 10+ secondary characters = 10+ chemistry = 10+ steam = 10 character development = 10 pacing = 10 enjoyment =10+ writing style =10 storyline =10+ romance =10+ darkness level =5 humor =10+ pov= mostly the couple but we also get mini chapters with other characters ending =HEA cover =10+ stars = 5+ author = 10+ would I recommend this book =yes would I re read this book = yes would I read future books by this author = yes
THERE IS NO CHEATING. THE REVIEW WITH A QUOTE HAS TWISTED BECAUSE HE IS TALKING ABOUT HIS PAST. I asked the author and she said he can't touch her when they are young because it would be statutory rape (he's 18 she's 17) and they both lived their lives for the 7 years apart because she never intended to go home. How is that cheating? He doesn't touch anyone else after she comes back so no no cheating in the book. That quote he talks about his past while she was AWAY from him. So silly saying that's cheating.
HEA No Cheating romance and love with booms and bangs I found her books from a friend who recommended book one in the series and I fell in love. This book became one of my favourite types - mystery and investigation. I loved how it was serious then lightened up and still can't decide who is the baddy. Then the family dynamic and how she didn't make isla forgive Luke immediately and you actually believe and feel their emotions.
The authors writing style and skill has matured since book one too and I can't wait to see what happens in Cole's book. He's my favourite character so far and the ending surprised me. The unicorn scene was laugh out loud on the train moment for me too.
I loved this book and I love this author for giving a book where you just don't know what's going to happen next. Thank you Ms Moore
