I really enjoyed this Christian Regency fiction story! The characters were believable and heartwarming. I'm looking forward to reading more books by this author! I was able to read a copy of this book via Overdrive, but it did not in any way affect my review. All opinions are my own.
This is a clean and short historical romance story that you can read in one sitting. I think it’s meant to be a short story so the character development is rather fast. The main male character changed rather fast from a seemingly unfeeling, selfish jerk to a caring and selfless hero. But it’s quite a nice quick read if you need to catch up on your reading challenge!
The way this is written poorly shows that the author cannot execute her plot clearly.
The Hero was a jerk and an idiot. He should get a lot more damages for his arrogance. I feel bad the he sold the heroine's property just like that without getting it back at least to grovel to her or getting punished for it.
Sweet, clean Romance. This novella is a fast read, but the story is cute. The beginning seemed rushed, but settled into a better flow as it progressed.
