I got into comics and The Simpsons at roughly the same time in my childhood so naturally some of the first graphic novels I sought out were Simpsons comics. Don't remember this volume too well but I do remember the cover and it being as entertaining as the others.
Very funny book, especially for Simpsons fans. Stories include baby Maggie going missing; Homer and his pals taking over Moe's Tavern; A big Thanksgiving fiasco; Smithers becoming King of Springfield; and the Simpsons building a phenomon pool in a hot summer that is illegal. Very funny, since I like The Simpsons. Very funny, 'nuff said.
I enjoyed this, but I didn't like it as much as I thought I was going to. With a title like "Belly Buster", I assumed it would be hilarious. However, I only laughed a couple times. I enjoy the Simpsons though. I think I enjoy them more on the television screen than on a page though.
This book was a great book that made me laugh. Althought it wasnt that long of a book it was fun to read. After reading for a second time it is still as funny as the first.
i remember loving these when i was a kid, and i can still see the appeal. each story feels like a lost episode of the tv show, complete with dumb jokes and incredibly niche references (but also lovable characters)
and i got to see ralph wiggum get his nose stuck in a pool filter so i have no real complaints.
Similar to the Bart Simpson comics, these are acceptable but really basic and unfunny most of the time. Interesting scenario setups but they tend not to pay off...
Most of these felt like decent episodes of the Simpsons but some had a lackluster archie comics type feel to them. It was good and I enjoyed it but I don't think I actually laughed at anything.
Simpsons Comics: Belly Buster follows the Simpsons characters as they go on different adventures. These comics were cleverly written, hilarious, and hard to put down. An overall well-written comic book for anyone who is a fan of the show. 4.5/5
I really loved this one. It was really funny and I had a great time reading. I loved all of the comics in this one (which is rare because there are usually one or two that I don’t like). I really loved the King of Sweden one - it was really funny
