Never read an Emma Alisyn paranormal romance? Try Clan Bear, a collection of her ten bestselling paranormal romances. For readers who love alpha males, bbw curvy heroines with major personality, lots of emotional tension and plenty of steamy, sensual love scenes. NO fade to black here!
Emma is a Black/white Muslim American mom of five, ages 6-22, in her mid-forties just trying to live her best life…which usually includes coffee, wine, and an unfortunate habit of one-clicking any pretty special edition that winds up in her feed. (If you DM it, she will come.)
She likes K-pop (#army, #moa) cultivation dramas (Till the End of the Moon,) precioussss silence, and collects more makeup than she uses.
She bends knee to Michelle Sagara West, Anne Bishop, N.K. Jemisin, Grace Draven, J.D. Robb, and Nalini Singh—a nod to Sanderson, Goodkind, Eddings, McCaffrey, and McKinley.
If you are looking for romantic epic fantasy set in complex, diverse, sex positive worlds with morally gray societies, powerful anti-heroes with THAD energy, multi-racial heroines at least 35—if not 350—coming into power, and a central theme of family, both dysfunctional and supportive, then you will binge her stories..
The first set almost had me quitting this anthology. While the characters were clear and engaging, their sex lives had more bdsm than I care to read.
The second set caught me and brought my rating up. The royal shifters were fascinating and their stories varied widely so I didn't feel like I was reading a formula.
I read four of the ten stories when they were all released individually and loved them. I want to read the others but haven't gotten around to it. This set is a great way to get them at a reduced price!
Liam's Bride: Meredith and Liam are great. Meredith is a strong Independent woman who isn't going to settle for less than love. Liam is an Alpha who has years of hatred to get past before he can have a chance at a forever future with Meredith. There are struggles, but the two work through them to get what really matters. I want to read more of this series.
Bear Prince: This was a really cute story. I loved Hannah and Andrei’s instant connection. They were great together and were willing to put aside things they wanted to help their partner be happy. Like any relationship that moves at warp speed though, they did not always communicate their feelings or needs well. However, in the end, they made it work. I am looking forward to seeing how their decision affects Andrei’s sister, Princess Mia in book two.
Bear Queen: I read the first book in this series and loved it but haven't had a chance to read the second one yet. I think it would have helped with understanding a few things a little better in this one. I was able to read Bear Queen just fine and enjoyed the story very much. However, I would recommend for someone new to the series to read both book one and two first. Queen Izobelle is a strong willed and independent woman who is not looking for a long term relationship. Clan Chief Dacus is on a search for a bride and believes "Izo" is meant to be his. I like the two of them together and was glad to see their story continue in Bear Queen's Baby.
Bear Queen's Baby: I was so glad to see there was a follow up to Izobelle and Malvin's story. It was a cute follow up. I loved that we got to see how all the family members were interacting (now that the threat was gone) while awaiting the birth of the newest baby. *I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of each of the books above.*
Love Clan Conroy, have read all the series, so enjoyable. Read the Royal Bears awhile ago, Ms. Alison knows her bears and HEA. Had never read the last story, it was good, plenty of drama, hotness and of course HEA.
Liam's Bride I enjoyed this book. I think it does what it set out to do quite well. It introduced us to Clan Conroy, their current troubles, and some background of why we find ourselves here. I kind of felt like Liam and Meredith were a bit over the top. Many of their reactions went to extremes. However, I can also understand those extremes in this kind of fated-mates shifter story. Because I read books in the Lifestyle, there really wasn’t anything in here that was a particular surprise to me in terms of their intimate encounters. Though, judging by some of the reactions to this book, it may be a bit startling if you’re not used to it. Now that I’ve started to get to know some of the members of Clan Conroy, I’m interested in reading more. Alphonso's Baby Now, I’m a sucker for a second chance so that immediately softened my heart towards Tamar and Alphonso. I didn’t entirely understand their dynamic though. She’s strong and fierce and independent while he seems to be a domineering jerk. I saw lots of changes in their characters, but not quite the ones I wanted to see. I really enjoyed all the mystery and intrigue that fill this book. I just really would have like to see more answers to all the questions brought up by this story. I’m still curious about the rest of Clan Conroy and there’s questions I want answers to, so I’ll keep reading more of the series. Norelle's Bear I liked Cass and I liked Norelle, and I’m completely fascinated by the lions, but there’s just something about this book that didn’t click with me. Whether it was the heavy political spin or the fact that this pair are, in essence, being asked to sacrifice their happiness for the ideals of a bunch of meddling mothers, I’m not quite sure what the root cause was. I enjoyed the story and it has some very funny moments, particularly with the young lion princess. This series has prompted some questions to my mind, so I plan to continue reading to find the answers. One Bearry Night This was so much fun to read. It was filled with complete hilarity as I was constantly left wondering "how do they not see this?" I had so many laugh-out-loud moments as the author kept answering "what's the funniest thing that can go wrong now?" All this silliness is broken up by touching scenes of the families getting to know one another. Bear in Furry Armor This was a shifter fairy tale in the most classic sense: the noble knight rescues the fair maiden from the evil witch. The noble knight just happens to be a bear shifter and the fair maiden is the witch's daughter, who also happens to be a bit of a witch herself. It's such a sweet tale of high school (almost) sweethearts who get a second chance for happiness together. Bear Prince I loved watching the way the relationship between Andrei and Hannah builds. That the big, tough alpha bear is willing to take it slowly with the sheltered ballerina. Allowing her to set the pace, even at the expense of his duties. I think this pair is adorable together, in spite of the fact that they often don’t have a clue how to communicate with one another. I’m looking forward to seeing how the rest of this series plays out. Bear Princess I loved Mia. It was so easy to sympathize with her breaking heart as the duty she’d been raised to fulfill was rapidly stealing away her happiness. However, I greatly enjoyed watching her grow into her own personal power. Dami was kind of another story for me. I wasn’t a fan of all the secrets he keeps from Mia and I thought he left her woefully unprepared for Khai politics. I loved seeing him grovel for forgiveness though. And, the bloodthirsty parts of me think the villains of this book got away too lightly. Bear Queen This book has all the sweeping geopolitical and intra-family drama of the Song of Ice and Fire series. It was certainly not at all how I was expecting this story to unfold. I loved Izobelle’s fierce independence, but the wide streak of “too stupid to live” drove me absolutely mental. Malvin is more than a match for her. He appreciates her cunning mind as much as any other attribute she brings to their relationship. The intrigue and suspense kept me glued to the page, anxious to learn what would happen next. I quite liked the author’s creative way to break Izobelle of some of her ingrained habits. Bear Queen's Baby Oh my gosh! That was so cute and so fun. It wasn’t like I needed that to be able to fully enjoy the Royal Bears Of Casakraine, but it was a nice way to close out some of the threads that weren’t completely tied off yet and to provide a one hundred percent happily ever after to our couples.

On the whole, I enjoyed most of the 10 stories in this compilation of stories. Several were superb writing with believable plots of romantic love between a bear and his or her significant other. Plenty of action, challenges to overcome, and determined characters willing to do anything to get or stay together! They were so good, that it raised the expectation that all of the stories were on that level. Sadly that was not the case. A couple of the stories felt thrown together as filler. Overall, I still give the entire collection a 4 out of 5. My enjoyment was so high, overall, that I recommend it highly!
This is a fab collection of paranormal stories by Emma Alisyn. I enjoy her writing at the best of times, but this set was full of all the things that catch and hold my attention. Suspense, drama, secrets, emotions, humour, engaging characters and yes, heart warming romance. Of course, we have good steam, as well, tucked into each book ;) If you're looking to lose yourself for a bunch of hours in entertaining shifter stories, this set is one I recommend.

It's so hard to find a box set that has full stories in it. Every book in the set had a begining and and end, no cliffhangers. I enjoyed every story, Bears anf Gargoyle. I will be watching for more of Emma Alisyn's stories. You wont be disappointed by getting this set.
All of these books will make you believe in love again. I laughed, cried and was on the edge of my seat throughout the entire book. I would love to see more set in each and every one of these worlds. I was enthralled and fell into this book.

There are 10 stories in this collection and they are all enjoyable. I love Emma Alisyn's characters--they are always so much "more". The stories have twists and turns and the HEA is always satisfying. I also like that I never find wimpy or stupid heroines or unpleasant heroes. Well worth the read.
I found this in the unlimited books, this is the way I like to read a series. From book 1 until their all done. This was my first time reading this authors books I loved them all. These stories had some very interesting content and different plots I loved them. Even though the last one was left like a cliffhanger(hate those) hopefully Luth's family get more stores.
Too much, yet not enough. With so much drama, you would think there would be a soap opera feel to it, but instead, it's a big heaping mess.
Father of H was murdered by father of h. Meredith has daddy issues, but doesn't act like it. She starts off with a fear of big men? The character development doesn't make sense. Aside from her bonding to Liam, her personality change makes no sense. Aside from the shifter bit, the characters are unrealistic. If she is afraid of big men because of her father, how can she talk him off when he just got out of jail? Just, poor! She's suddenly grown a pair.
There's much more, but I've wasted enough time here.
I enjoy all the wonderful love stories! What an amazing writer! I got lost in these stories wishing and dreaming that I had my own true love story with an Alpha. Simply wonderful and two thumbs all the way up! A++++++++
