This is no a book nor even a novella - its a book that has been cut into four parts.
Extremely predictable, not badly written but a story that has been done so many times.
Will appeal to readers who love the tragic billionaire trope.

This was a quick sexy read with a cliffhanger that left me wanting more! I would have preferred if the book had been longer but it was still a great read. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review and originally posted this on another website on December 27, 2016.

The story of Ashton and Bria is off to a steamy start. This was just enough to get you hooked into the story. I have to get the next book to find out what the boss does to her next. Two chapters is just a tease.

This review is just me recounting the events of what happened in the book so I can I remember waht I've read.
I suggest not reading this if you don't want to know all the details I'm recounting.
Okay, we got Bria & Ashton. Strong beginning, but I forgot it was a short/part one. Anyway, Bria fibbed on her resume (she's also 21 - not liking the age but whatever, wish she was older) & Ashton finds out. He calls her into the office & fires her. She then begs to keep her position. He tells her if she tells him something honest, he'll reconsider. She does. Tells him she's a virgin. She's to come in the next day. She does. He tells her if she can answer his questions honeslty, she can stay. He calls her in after hours. He's on the phone speaking w/someone, he puts it on speaker & mute & gives her a kiss she'll never forget between her legs. Tbc

Good and predictable
Short story quite predictable where PA is at the mercy of her boss ( not that she is complaining). Overall good for the type of book it is.

This series is off to a steamy start, the heat between these two characters is combustible.
After telling her billionaire boss Ashton a lie, Bria has put herself in a compromising situation and to keep her job she must answer any question he chooses to ask honestly no matter how personal. She needs this job for reasons that she is keeping secret, but for how long can she last answering these questions???
I cannot wait for book two.

I was provided a copy of this book by the publisher/author for an honest review. Ella's writing is very good and I think the plot could end up being interesting, however 2 chapters to me does not make a book. I understand a short, hot book from time to time but those usually include the whole story, this is just the start and I am hoping it's not 10 books later that this story concludes.

Not bad, BUT...
As for calling this a book... wtf!!! It's pretty much only one (maybe, just maybe) two short chapters.
I could see it being alright, but if this is like other "books" I thought I was buying, you're actually paying for each chapter.
Which is really despicable.
Get the whole book in ONE purchase and I'd be more than happy to change my rating.

1st book I have read by Ella London, loved it. Hot & Steamy .... was a quick morsel of a wide ride ... had to read #2 asap to see what happened next ... I will be reading more of her books, adding them to my TBR list soon. ( :

Short and very surprisingly good reading. The way the story starts drew me right in. With no clue what was coming, I had to have more. Getting right into part 2.

Wow! What a cliffhanger, and I can’t wait to find out what happens next!! This was a short, fast read but I could not put the book down—I just wish it was longer. I was enthralled with the characters of Bria and Ashton Carter and the banter between the two. Ashton is the President, media mogul, and eligible bachelor who is a self-made billionaire of Carter Media Group who is tall, handsome, sexy, shrewd, arrogant, powerful, and a schemer who gets what he wants. Bria is a recent college graduate who is in dire need of a job. Carter does not like people lying, so when he finds out that Bria lied on her application—the story then takes on a different twist; it was quite an unexpected surprise that may leave you infuriated but it is jaw-dropping good! The scenes are well written, fast-paced and flow smoothly from one scene to the next. This story will pique your interest and draw you in from the beginning to the very end. I cannot wait to read book 2 to find out what happens next.
