2 DIRTY STARS
Going to try and make this short but What the hell is a virgin doing having nasty rough sex in a woman's bathroom in a club?
I worked in one as a waitress and those are just beyond NASTY.
Also, What is upstanding established rich man with two kids doing in said club with this "slutty virgin"?
Whatever the reasons, they have a meaningless ONS.
And they go on their way.
NOTHING earth shattering, just raunchy dirty sex!
This book was just NOT HAPPENING FOR ME.
I really tried to be understanding but when she accepted to take care of his kids and be his f*ck buddy, I was out!
When he said to her "Ms. Wilder, this job…Our previous encounter—”
"I’m sorry, sir,” I said quickly. “That really isn’t me—”
"Please do not interrupt me. I feel as though our previous encounter may, shall we say, color this working relationship. In fact, I believe it may color the job itself.”
Then, he tells her they must be professional but he spanks her!?
Mixed message much!?
Anyways, I read it until the dysfunctional end so I could rate it.
Even their sex was unemotional to me and had Dom/sub overtones to it. I will even admit I skimmed a lot of the sex. After their first couple of unemotional couplings, I was done.
I WAS DONE!
Then, we added the evil other woman (his divorce ex and mother of his two kids), who was getting the better of the heroine and the hero as well.
Excuse me here but if she is such a bitch, WHY DO YOU HAVE TWO KIDS WITH HER!? One I could understand....but TWO!?
Seriously!
Now, I read this book and the author did warned me I was naughty for doing it. So I guess I got my punishment here, as I didn't enjoy this book.
BUT I REALLY TRIED!
Btw, don't worry about the kids sounding real or not, they are like invisible kids showing up to say a line of two or napping. I can't even remember their names.
And to top it all, it was a rush to the finish line.
Everything happening all at once and facts just given out. It was like factual vomit and this to me was an epilogue fail. This has never happened to me before, I love epilogues and rate a book higher just because it's included. However, this time it was working against me as it only left me feeling mad.
Not worth it for me but others might enjoy it.
Thank God for KU.
Also, the author includes another short story entitled Baby it's cold outside which I have already read. It's another unemotional short story filled with only meaningless sex.
Maybe that's hot for some but it's not for me.
Safety: no cheating but obviously had OW drama. The heroine was a virgin and the hero was experienced. No condoms.

~5~ Steamy stars from me!!
Wow, just wow that was one of the hottest stories I've ever read the author delivered something fresh, extremely juicy from page one till the last page with a happily ever after epilogue.
Isabella and Colin have an amazing chemistry, imagine a nanny and a bold, sexy, masculine, dominant boss... another thing i can add is that it has a very enjoyable plot with fast pace, steamy scenes and interesting dialogues what's not to like??? You should definitely give it a try and I'm looking forward to read the author's next creation!!

"Sugar and Spice" is the smut-tastic story of Colin and Bella.
Colin and Bella have one night stand in a bar, in which she gives up her virginity to the hot older man.
Later, as she applies for an au pair job, she realizes her new boss is her first! Thus begins the forbidden romance between the boss/ nanny. It was hot, and OMG the voyeuristic balcony anal.. so Dirty!
It was a short and fun read. Hail the smut train, choo choo.
Loved the epilogue.

This over-the-top fantasy involves a dirty couple, sweet children in need of a better mum, a Christmas in Paris, filthy rendezvous in the dark, and a dominating billionaire.
I enjoyed this raunchy story because it starts with a bang, then the awkward yet sensually-infused work relationship boils with forbidden lust as the characters reminisce of their first encounter, and how hard it is to resist the temptation now.
I liked the double POV and the naughty scenes that mix in the end with some drama that affects both their families and adds a resounding yet kinky romantic touch to wrap it all up. The story reflects the title very well and if a reader is looking for hot and furious, this will do the job nicely.

2.5 stars is my rating. Everything I hate was wrapped up in a story I surprisingly didn't hate. Weird.
I hate men that insist women call them "Sir;" I hate such stark age differences. I hate stories of just legal girls falling in that all-consuming sexual relationship, and then that all-consuming sexual relationship turns to declarations of love in a VERY short amount of time. I hate asshole exes that cause stupid drama. A hard-core BDSM relationship would have tipped the scales into a complete no-go book for me, so it was lucky it didn't.
That said, the overtly romantic gesture was the saving grace. And since it ended on a sweet note, the book wasn't a complete waste of time.

I really enjoyed reading this story of older man/younger college-age girl. The story started after they had already met and Isabella (Bella) was in a room with other women applying for a job as a nanny for Colin's children. There was some flashback to how they met at a dive bar, but I would've liked to have the story told in more detail. I mostly wanted to feel the insta-lust between the two when their eyes met and later when they were in the women's restroom having sex.
The few things that I did want clarified was the stuff surrounding the bet and her nasty roommate. I would've liked that her roommate got her just desserts along with the immature Harvard boys who created the bet in the first place.
The sex scenes were, of course, hot as usual, but I would've prefer that the flashback was told in its entirety not glimpses here and there. I think that the whole bathroom sex could've been awesome. Also, kudos on the SUPER HOT COVER!!! I could stare at that man all day!

This book not only had the sugar & spice, but also had all the heat too! One dominant employer who's dirty talk will have you begging to not only do his bidding but do him too! A quick read that definitely did not disappoint! This is the first book I've read by Madison Faye and I must say I will be checking out her other books as well! She brings the heat and keeps is H.O.T. from beginning to end.

This was the second free book added to my purchase of Hunting Beauty. I am so glad it was free because I hated this story. Again, the book was bad female porn. This one starred a single father with children who lusts after the nanny. There was a bit of a twist to that generic plot because Colin met Isabella at a club before she applied for the job of au pair. Still, I did not like either character, and I kept having flashbacks to a R-rated version of Twilight or an abridged version of Fifty Shades of Grey. I did not even realize this book was supposed to be a Christmas/holiday read until I viewed the cover. I forgot the title as I was reading, Sugar & Spice, but the cover shows Colin wearing a Santa Claus hat. This book did not put me in any holiday spirit. I just kept rolling my eyes over the ridiculous, almost nonexistent plot, and the one-dimensional villain Faye threw in at the end of the story.
Both main characters were interchangeable with characters in the aforementioned books. For crying out loud, this Isabella was constantly biting her lip, which is a trait both Bella Swan and Anastasia Steele do incessantly in their narratives. There was no depth to Isabella or Colin. She was an intelligent, ivy league student turned nanny and he was a control freak dominant man who lusted after a woman twice his age. The reader never does learn why Colin wants to be called "Sir." They were boring! Even their passions felt contrived. I do not see how these two ever got together. They really did not have anything in common. Even the children, who brought them together, were like ghosts. There was one scene where they cried because they missed Isabella. Other than that, I truly thought they were a figment of my imagination. Faye throws in a one-dimensional villain to compliment her one-dimensional heroes at the end of the book. This strategy was surely done to add length to the book as it was very short.
What did I actually like about this book? Almost nothing! To be honest, I did not care if Isabella and Colin had a happy ending. I was just glad this train wreck ended as quickly as it started. I will give Faye credit for her creative sex scenes. She knows how to write steamy situations, and there is one particular encounter out on a balcony that was a lot of fun.

Una novella tutta pepe che mi ricorda un po la serie di libri di Emma Green, ma tutta concentrata in uno solo, Call Me Baby.
Colin una sera va in un nightclub dove si fa una giovincella di cui non ricorda il nome, ma che gli rimane impressa nella mente perché docile e ubbidiente come le ama lui.
Qualche giorno dopo, Isabella, durante un colloquio di lavoro si rende conto che lo sconosciuto, dominatore, che gli ha preso la sua V-card, non è altro che l'uomo che la sta per assumere come baby sitter per i suoi due pargoli.
Da quel giorno in poi, tra viaggi a Parigi e scene di sesso molto esplicite, i due non riusciranno più a staccarsi l'uno dall'altro.
Uno scapolo ricco che cerca una Baby Sitter per i figli, che si ritrova a far sesso su un bel balcone parigino. Tutto pepe e poca azione in questo libro, come nella serie di Emma Green che però aveva più verve e più pathos. Qui é tutto veloce, c'è molto sesso per riempire i vuoti. Non ci sono buchi di trama perché la trama è ristretta e si concentra tutta su qualche giorno. I personaggi sono abbastanza ben descritti. L'azione non è vera azione ma ripicca dall'ex moglie che in un batter d'occhio appare e in un batter d'occhio sparisce.

Madison Faye does it again with another sweet, hot satisfying novella! Ms. Faye is rapidly rising as one of the premier insta-love/lust genre authors. Not everyone has the time (or patience) to read a full length novel and Ms. Faye's novella's satisfy when time is at a premium. Her writing style is extremely professional with few to no grammatical errors. Always fast paced, her story lines simply flow and never fail to completely engage the reader.
Sugar & Spice is a hot holiday romance with engaging characters, a very well developed story line and as always an awesome HEA! Madison Faye is one of my favorite, "one click authors" and I highly recommend all of her books.

so once I got past the young Virgin, having sex in a dirty club, against the dirty bathroom wall, with a complete stranger....I was ok. LoL
and I did like the rest of the book after that. I love the nanny/single dad story line. he was like super hot and his kids were adorable, so great story. she was sweet and good with the kids.
but then a certain scene Paris...on a balcony. a scene that was pretty hot until... well shall I say a lack of lubricant in the story has me CRINGING. and feeling like my butt hurts just reading thru the scene. 😬
then I loved the rest from that part on. till the end, and the epilogue as well. when I read the synopsis I almost skipped this story. it was a freebie at the end of another of the authors books. but I decided to stick with it. and with the exception of the cringe- worthy parts I spoke about above, I really did enjoy this story and is HEA.

Isabelle didn’t expect to see him again. It was a onetime thing. But her new job throws her right into Colin Kensington’s lap, literally. He met her at a club that he never goes to. She has been on his mind for a week. Then she is standing there with that others for a job as my au pair for my children. But I want her for so much more.

Of the three, this was the best one, but from the beginning, it felt like another cliche, and a wannabe-better-but-didn't-quite-make-it "50 Shades of Gray". I enjoyed the story immensely more than I enjoyed 50 Shades, but the overall feel was the same, and it left my skin crawling at some points. The romance was definitely more realistic and sweet, but overall I just wasn't impressed with the relationship between the two main characters. They just didn't do it for me. The sex was hot. The relationship was not.

Madison Faye has found a new reader in me with this hot and spicy novella. I didnt know what to call this kind of read but it was best said when someone called it insta-love/lust genre. Colin to me was more alpha male that liked his kink then dominant. And I mean really...who hasnt wanted to have a hoop up with some hot guy that they thought they would never see again? If only that were the case here...lol

I have read 2 other books by this author & was about to give up on really liking them, but I decided to give one more try since this story was in the back of one of the others. Turns out I'm glad I did. This story was a hot, dominate, alpha male, read. It had more than just hot sex scenes though. It had a very good story to go along with the fast insta-love. If you want a fast read with a dominate male who is sexy, loving, & protective then this is for you.

Definitely a steamy read which I loved. Fantastic characters no cheating. Definitely my favorite so far from Madison Faye.

This book was soooo HOT!! I just couldn't put it down. This is the first book that I have read by Madison Faye. I love the writing and the story. Isabella went looking for one thing and found something totally different. Colin has a controlled and ordered life. They are not quite the conventional couple, but they find balance. It is well worth the read.

This book is enough to make your panties go up in smoke! Colin and Isabella met previously but unknown to either of them she is one of the applicants for his children's nanny. The heat is still present even after she takes on the job. This book was well written and hot hot hot!!!! Dirty but only the best kinds of dirty. Awesome side story and epilogue!!

I loved the title, and it perfectly explained their story. There was drama and excitement, and some voyerism. There were some sneaky afternoon delights, but those all added up to falling deeply and forever. Loved the epilogue.

Okay- this was a little bit wild for the holidays! Anonymous sex in the club's bathroom only to face the same guy at an embarassing job interview a week later. Awkward! But I did like Colin's kids. They are too precious! Although his crazy ex-wife needs to be locked up somewhere. Unbelievable!

Boss and the nanny instalove. They actually met a week before he hired her in a nightclub and had a VERY good time. The ex wife drama helps push them together but the mom illness felt extreme but I guess it helped in the end. Good and naughty bedroom scenes.

I like the characters. I like the story. I love the dirty, hot, intense sex. I like the villain because she wasn't over used and too much of a lead. Good book with a few typos that are forgivable.
