Reem lives a secluded, sheltered life inside Community One. Sold to one of the alien beasts who now rule the Earth, inexperienced young Reem is terrified she won't know how to please her husband, and he'll end up eating her instead of bedding her.
After years of waiting, Troy finally gets his mate. When he lands her on his lap during their pairing party, he confirms her virginity. He can't wait until they're home so he can show her the only thing she should fear is his big... heart.

Short, hot and safe. This is a prequel and doesn't give a full story, just a short read about how this couple meets. I believe it's my first alien read. I will definitely check out the series
Having read and enjoyed 'Blind Beast Mate' I was just about to start the second book 'Wild Beast Mate' when I noticed this, at only 30 pages long it's incredibly short but it's still a nice little read. Troy found his mate two years ago but she was only sixteen and therefore he had to wait and the waiting was hell but now she's of age and nothing is going to stand in his way. Reem has lived a very sheltered life and she's absolutely terrified about the prospect of being married to a Beast but what she doesn't know is that she's his one and only and more precious to him than anything else. This is an enjoyable little read and now it's straight onto 'Wild' for me.
“Don't be afraid. My name is Troy, and I'm your beast." Should I bark? Uncertain of their customs, I said, "Well, not too many girls can say they've got their own beast. Usually, they're looking for princes." "Would you rather have a prince?" He hooked a thumb over his shoulder, and the biggest beast of them all winked at me, then smiled. Oh horror. His canines had to be the size of my forefinger. I looked back at Troy, measured his shoulders. Then I measured the other one’s shoulders. "Forget the prince."
Dystopian tale, Great Nuclear War survivors in a religious society, Beast aliens are looking for human brides through the Beast Pairing Program, Parents and guardians sell their daughters to the interested Beasts, Naïve virgin human girl, Pushy dirty talking Beast looking for a mate, Really short story which will not make sense unless you read Blind Beast Mate (Beast Mates, #1) first.
Surprisingly enjoyable read. I didn't just enjoy the sexy stuff, the actual story was intriguing. If I actually believed in buying ebooks, I might buy the rest of this series.
What the fracking Hell is this crap? What did I just read?
This is not a romantic!
This is not a novel
I love aliens.... I love bikers.... but what was this? Werewolf alien bikers into BDSM with human names? WTF!
This was someone's nasty wet dream ... just gross!! This is not even porn... at least that has a purpose I suppose.
Somebody please tell me how in the fracking Hell this thing has 4 stars?
It is trash! This is just nasty.... and it's a shame! It could have been a great story, instead the heroine is collared like a dog and then barks ....wtf?
Shame on whomever it was that made this possible!
I wish I could take back that little bit of time and all those brain cells exposed to this garbage...
Read at your own risk but don't believe for one second that this is sweet or funny or sexy or good... and it sure as Hell is not safe... OMG!
Ah Milana, I am loving your Beast Mates stories so much! This was a super short read that doesn’t need to be read in any particular order, but is a great taste of the Beast Mates world if you’re looking to possibly get into the series. The great thing about this short little bite is that it references other characters from the other Beast Mate books so you may even end up liking the series better if you read this one first because you can really see how everyone and everything ties together.
All in all another enjoyable and pleasing Beast Mates story that just keeps me wanting more. This story received 3 stars from me only due to how short the story is (30 pages), but really is a great way to get introduced to this world and its characters. Highly recommended for pararomance fans.
Copy received from author in exchange for my honest review.
Meh. Basically no story. Didn't like the H. He was a crude pushy ass. Is that part of the cultural differences?? Is that how you treat your mate? Where's the respect? There's basically no transition from her fearing her new husband to her lusting after him. The sex wasn't even sexy. More like lack luster emotionless porn.
What a fun, ridiculous, short read. There is not much to this story. Beast have come to Earth after a disaster that we caused. They look like a mix between wolves and men but talk like bikers and are super naughty. Humans live in some kind of religious sectors that have made deals with the Beast to give them virgins, but little do these humans know that these woman are actually their mates. I will definitely read more in this series.
"He licked it and smacked his lips, his eyes brightening. "Tastes the way my pair should taste. Sweet with a bit of spice."" - No lie but Troy said this! (lol)
"My beast was sexy as sin. No human male looked this feral, this big, this strong. I'd nursed fears for no reason. Something about the way he looked at me, moved inside me, and clawed his way into my heart told me he was what I’d been looking for, beyond the community walls." -Reem
This is the prequel to the Beast Mate series and it was a pretty enjoyable read. I really liked the banter between hero and beast, Troy and his human mate, Reem. She proves to be somewhat that of comic relief in the story, "Virgin Beast" because she really thought she would be eaten by her beast of a husband on her wedding night. So funny this story was for me but sensual too! The things said and done in this quick read by both the H & h were too hilarious! BTW, little did sheltered Reem know that noble Troy had been watching and waiting to claim her as his mate. So when she turned 18 years old there was nothing stopping him except curious Reem's fear of being eaten by one of the beast! What a delightful read!

Honestly, I have no fucking idea what I just read. As far as an "introduction" to this series, I was left confused and pissed off. First of all, what the hell is even happening? Post nuclear war-alien invaded-dystopian-society where humans are kept in communities... and the male alien beasts can come in and buy... BUY their "mate". Humans are under the impression that this is in the best interest of everyone in their community, their safety guaranteed if they sell off their young daughters without complaint. There was also some talk of being eaten by the alien beast if they don't preform sexually for them? But no worries guys! The beasts have ONE TRUE MATE and they only get one so IT'S ALL LOVE or some other whopping pile of bullshit. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK IS THIS.
So why the two stars, eh? I mildly intrigued about the actual first book... this trope doesn't always infuriate me *when I go into it with eyes wide open*. My eyes are open and I'm left curious.
Apparently Troy realised that the sixteen year old and very human Reem was his Mate but decided to wait until she turned eighteen to claim her. Reem knows very little about these Beasts who now control her planet but what she doesn't want is to get eaten by one ! I'm kind of on the fence about this novella. It features a hero who just sounds like a foul mouthed MC member as popularised by romantic fiction and honestly I wanted him to be more alien. It quickly moves along with the story which is obviously good in such a short read with heat growing between the couple but what really interested me was everything happening around them which I wanted expanding but obviously to learn more I'd need to read the rest of the series.
Late August is lazy re-read time and when I feel I need some fun I pick up some of Milana Jacks early stuff and binge it and when it’s possible I take the audiobook - so everything is perfect: fun stuff on my ears and I get stuff done.
Very short free story to get a taste and some background - good lets see what comes next 😉
I failed to log these individually when I first read them in 2019 and logged the "box set" instead to avoid trying to figure out what I read and when. Going to reread them all and individually rate the stories, now that I'm not scared to 'fess up to what I've been reading.
Real rating: 3.5⭐︎
If you loved Milana Jacks' Regha Alphas, you'll probably love her Beasts, who are more crude, more bro-y, and kinky as hell—they are also all (lovable) nightmares- fun to read about, would be horrifying in real life. This dystopian series takes the instalove/fated mate trope, pumps it full of steroids, and sets it loose in a frat house. Then add a lot of butt stuff, collars, and human men being the literal woooooorst and.... You'll likely either love these or *really* hate them.
VBM is a short, very smutty lead up to the first real book in the series and lighter hearted than the series as a whole. Think of the series' novellas as little shots of fun and play between darker works.
Virgin Beast Mate was a very short prequel. I was in the mood for some story with mates and this one was a freebie in Amazon. I was surprised how much I enjoyed it since it was so short.
Troy found his mate two years ago but she was only 16 years old, so by human laws he couldn't breed her yet. He spend 1.5 years on their battleship to resist the urge to kidnap Reem.
Reem is very naive about anything related to sex. No one ever taught about it to her and her mother refused to talk about it. She was almost scared to death when Troy bought her. She thought he was going to eat her flesh.
I don't have much to say about the romance as much I enjoyed the book. Troy didn't really care much about what Reem was comfortable with and was more like 'me Tarzan, you Jane-- let's have sex"
Gotta do 3 🌟's. This wasn't terribly written. It had confusing elements/scenes. I'm guessing that if I had read a longer book I'd understand more and want more of the other beasts. But this is the first that I've read this author and this was also lacking a better conclusion. There was not a lot of follow through when so much was hyped up.
A useless snippet of a story that was short even by novella standers. The story moved along fairly alright until it seemed to cut off abruptly like the author just got tired of writing this one and decided to make it book number .5 instead of 1 in a series of short standalone novels.
Troy the “Beast” and Reem are so cute together. Yes he’s an alien but for some reason I don’t care 🤷♀️Binge Reading has commenced. Short story length but I loved it
I almost quit from the crude and uncomfortable erotica at the beginning. But the H ended up being nicer than his dialogue and the intimacy got sexier. I'm interested in more stories in this series.
Prequel novella to an alien erotica series; a little confusing, but I was intrigued enough to read the first book in the series. Not horrible, but not very well written either.
This series....like crack for a pnr/sci-fi junkie. Read this yesterday, then the 2nd book or 1st full book, now reading the next book....stayed up late to do it and did not want to go to bed.....see crack for the pnr/sci-fi junkie....just one more page, just one more book.....one more click. The men are so blunt, I find it highly amusing. Damn it....total crack. Oh and it's free right now on Amazon.....you're welcome.
This book acts as a prologue to a series about alien biker wolf-like creatures who mate with human females and act like frat boys run amok. I held off on the review until I'd also read book one in the series, but I finished it and this description still stands.
I wasn’t really feeling it. It wasn’t awful, though how Reem and Rey met their partners is creepy. That I couldn’t get behind. The sex scenes are ok. I have nothing against reverse harems, but this just didn’t do it for me. It’s a short read, otherwise, I’d say skip it.
This just was not my cup of tea...at all. It was really short and I still couldn't finish it. Crude and awkward conversations took away from any story there may have been.
I normally include blurbs with what the stories are about with my reviews. But this book is really about a alien who buys a 18 year old woman and then proceeds to have forced exhibition manual sex with her and then Does some set up for the next book in the series and then has sex with her at home. It’s essentially 25 pages of sex and very little else.
The characters are flatter than paper. And the hero is honestly pretty disgusting with how much he essentially threatens worse sexual behavior if the heroine doesn’t perform the sexual act that he wants right then. The heroine is both naïve As well as boring. I can’t think of a single word to describe her characterization other than naïve.
The world it’s self is supposed to be post apocalyptic. And it’s sort of feels that way. Although it mostly feels like prepper cult compound Meets mad max meats total recall domed cities. I’m not even sure what the beasts are. What caused the apocalypse other than a nuclear war which in that case I would expect fewer people. There’s just not enough plot not enough characterization and not enough world building and you can accomplish that in a short story but the author spent more time harping on virginity then expanding the world.
Trigger warnings for the short story: rape, Virginity idolization, exhibitionism, forced exhibitionism, nonconsensual BDSM, Sexual slavery, misogyny, sexism, and a whole slew of toxic masculinity.
I also need to make a note that there is the first chapter of the next book in this. Do not read it if you are an animal lover. In fact don’t read it if you are a disabled person and you know what it’s like when you find a traumatizing to have your necessary accommodation refuse to you for no good reason. Because of the trauma that the first chapter of the next book caused, I’m not gonna continue with the series whatsoever. I was willing to give it a chance thinking that this preview was just that a preview but considering that the first chapter of the next book had two of my triggers I’m not gonna continue.
And because the book ends at 67% which is a violation of Amazons policies I’m going to give this book…
