Nolan Banks, Alpha of the Bank Tigers faces many things in his role as the leader of his kind. When he meets Skylar, she’s the most intriguing woman he’s ever seen. His instincts scream at him he can trust her, but she represents everything he hates most; Dragon shifters. He has to decide if she is gathering information for her brother, and use her to discover their weaknesses and use that knowledge to wipe out her entire clan, and kill her at the same time.


Skylar is known throughout the shifter world as the last Dragon Princess. Her brother Jamal is hated, and now that she’s pledged her allegiance to fight with the Alphas of Alpha City, her brother will be after her as well. What she hadn’t planned on, was the Alpha of the Banks Tigers to mean so much to her.


Time has run out in Alpha City for the Alphas who run it. They must band together to face a danger more powerful than anything they’ve ever known. With all their lives on the line, it’s not a question of when, but who, will die next.

I have loved the series from the beginning. A war has been brewing for some time now. The witch Claudia and her dragon lover Jamal are wanting to take over Alpha City. In this story the war finally takes place, however their are a few surprises for the witch and the dragon. Nolan and Skylar are a unique pair. Fated to one another at the worst time. The story had several surprises throughout making the story so thrilling. I love all of the characters and Alpha city. This is a must read!

I really love PNR and shifters and enjoyed this series as it has just about every shifter you can think of.

A bit of a let down to the end of the series though. First, the author seemed unable to decide if alpha Nolan was a lion or tiger shifter. At the end of book 4 he was lion, then became tiger is this book and at one point (although only for one sentence) he was a lion again before being a tiger once more --- yeah, bit of a mix up there.

Secondly, the series seemed to be very rushed at the end and did not have the full impact it could have had.

If I wanted to be petty, I could also point out that there are also quite a few spelling mistakes, but hey, I suppose that happens to everyone at some point.

It was a toss-up between 4 and 3 stars but because it felt too rushed, decided on 3.

The eye of the tiger......er dragon

What an amazing end to an epic battle. This book is so packed with emotion and danger, love and anger, survival and lose that you are going to need some tissues handy. The author really did a fantastic job of creating the end of the battle, but left so many stories up in the air. Oh, but can it be true? The last page says to look for more stories about Alpha City. Will we get to see Bast and Carina again? Will Rose and Knox be able to move forward? How about MJ, and Ransom, and Mick and so many others. I hope the author doesn’t make us wait too long.

Awesome Series

Fantastic Series!!!! I loved be on the Alpha City journey seeing all the Alpha find there mates, also like the close knit family relationships they all have for one another. With plenty of intrigue, suspense, action, and of course steamy romance to keep you hooked and at the edges of your seat. Overall a enjoyable and entertaining read looking forward to reading more books in this series.

Bryce Evans did not disappoint, she found a perfect balance of love and bringing the war to an end. I was pulled in from the beginning. It's a great story filled with plenty of emotion. The Alpha City Series is a great series!!!

This series deserves 10 stars not just 5, it shows true friendship, deep love, family, loyalty and non stop action. From the first page in book one to the last pg in book 5.. can't wait till more books come out ..

Great revelations and surprises in book 5 of this great series Alpha City. All the the members of The Order are in place and all the leaders and Alphas meet to prepare for a battle that could mean the end of Alpha City.

Nolan Banks Alpha Tiger of the Banks Pride has always hated dragons, but when his life is saved by the dragon princess and sister of Jamal the Dragon that just tried to kill him., he can't seem to stop thinking about the gorgeous Skylar. He even invites her and her remaining Clan members to stay in his home as the time approaches for their confrontation with Jamal and the evil witch Claudia. Problem is he can't get her scent out of his mind and her proximity is notb helping matters. He finally sees the truth of what everyone is telling him, she is his mate. When Carina makes a premionition of what is to come, Nolan vows to not claim Skylar if he is to save her from suffering.

The Dragon Princess Skylar is ready to put an end to her brother Jamal and agrees to move into the Tiger Alphas home for security and to help them defeat her brother. She then realizes what she has been denying, Nolan is her mate, she can't avoid it any longer and must tell him. When he denies it, she is heartbroken and flies away, only to reazlize he has lied to her, but why?

And the battle is on, who will be the victor good, or evil? Much will be revealed and the outccome will surprise all fans of this great series. So much action and suspense, not to mention the very sexy, purring kitty.

The battle for Alpha City continues as Claudia an evil witch continues to gather more power in an effort to overthrow the City. Dragon Princess Skylar is immediately drawn to Tiger-Shifter Nolan and saves him from dragon fire. Nolan has a hard time trusting her, as her brother Jamal has partnered with Claudia. Skylar is one of only 5 dragons left in her clan.

The Order is a special group formed of one Elf, one bear, one wolf, one panther, one tiger, one jaguar, one dragon and two witches; will they be strong enough to fight Claudia and her minions.

As Nolan and Skylar spend more time together the fact they are mates becomes more obvious – or does it?

A compelling story of fighting to save your livelihood and your clan/pack/family. I enjoy shifter stories – but dragons always seem to have that “something special”. Great read!!

I have been waiting for this book and it didn’t disappoint in the least. All of the books have been leading up to this one.

From the very first page to the final one, this book was high energy and high suspense. Through all of this Nolan was able to meet his mate and even though there were some misunderstandings in the beginning based on miscommunication, everything worked out. I liked Nolan and Skylar together. Even though they both alpha’s, they complimented each other well.

This book was high suspense the entire ride, which as a reader was both stressful and exciting. At one point, I was so emotionally worn out that I thought, it would be nice if they all just went to a barbecue and had some laughs. While this would have been highly inappropriate, it would have given this reader a break. I believe this speak to the amazing writing style of Mrs. Evans. She invokes such emotion that you feel for these characters and situation that they are in.

I would highly recommend this book.

The shifters, vampires, witches and elves are at war but the sides are not quite as easily drawn as you would think. Are so called friends more frenemies? Claudia continues with her rampaging megalomaniacal plans to take over the world (or at Least Alpha City to start with!!!)

Skylar is still an outsider as her brother is Claudia's right hand man. Nolan loves her fiery spirit but can he trust her or is she plant sent by her brother? Even when she saves him from Dragon Fire, he's not sure she is on the up and up. The order is only a shadow of its former self, can 9 assorted shifters and magic users actually stall Claudia or even better wipe her from existence?

Skylar and Nolan are a wonderful match and I really enjoyed this latest outing in Alpha City. If I ever manage to track down its location I'm moving. All these hot men and shifters to boot, what's not to love???

Skylar saved Nolan from her brother and isn't quite sure at first why. These two alphas are drawn to each other and every one around them knows why. The war is fast coming to a head and so many lives are at stake. All the Alpha's and their families are trying to prepare, but there is a traitor in their midst.
Loved this book, totally wanted to slap Nolan at one point. Silly man, he got what was coming to him. lol Love the name they picked for Thea's son. Locke, Claudia and Jamal, those three are something else. Very interested in the new seer and the Master Vampire. Dag and Jackson seem interesting to me as well. Can't wait till the next book comes out!

Temptations.

I have been waiting on Nolan's book and finally I got to read his story. Although he needed a good kick up the backside to being mean to Skylar, but can see why he said what he did. Loved this book from start to finish and although I thought that Nolan was the last book in this series to mates and thought that was it but obviously not and am now curious as to who will be next. The one book I absolutely cannot wait for is Bast and Carina's book and know that I ll probably wait a while for their book as Carina is still young. But patience is a virtue as they say.

This is the last in this part of the Alpha City Series. Fantastic conclusion to this story line. One thing I'm glad to see is the potential to return to Alpha City for future stories. Don't get me wrong, this is the conclusion of the evilness of Claudia and Jamal. (And I couldn't be happier). Nolan and Skylar make a great couple, although Nolan was a bit of a but at one point. There is still the fact that Carina is Bast's mate, but she needs to grow up, literally. The hint of other relationships possibly starting. I was left with the satisfaction that the story line has concluded, but the hope that Bryce Evans will someday return to Alpha City.

Great ending

Loved the series. Nolan and Skylar's story was a rocky one. They didn't recognize they were mates and acted like teenagers. They finally got it together, after Nolan acted like a total idiot, though his heart was in the right place. Skylar didn't let him off easy.
The final battle was epic. Thankfully not drawn out. While the good guys did win, they suffered great loss. They are strong and already pulling together and putting their lives back together. A great ending to a great series. Hoping there will be an Alpha City, the next generation.

I love this series s much. So full of drama, kept me on my toes from the start. This is such an amazing ending to this series. I love Nolan and Skylar. Their story is unique, they meet under such volatile circumstances. Such an emotional roller coaster. This story had me shouting out loud in frustration but also reduced me to tears. I was left emotionally spent at the end of it. I hope there is more to this series.

Happy and sad

This was a great story. loved the series very much. It's sad that another character had to die but in life one dies and someone is born. When the stories continue in alpha city I will follow it. Well done.

This has been a interesting and great series. You have to be very careful when reading. The details are there so don't miss them. That is what makes the series GREAT. It just all pulls together. Can't wait for the next episode!
