LION’S IN A FLAP - A BOOK ABOUT FEELING WORRIED

Lion’s In A Flap is a fantastic text for discussing child anxiety in an accessible way for pupils. Children can explore what makes different people feel worried and the best ways to cope when feeling anxious or “worried”. The importance of the teacher relationship and friendships in this book is evident, which would hopefully be recognised by pupils enjoying the text too!

This is really on the nose. Feeling anxious about an unknown activities and finding help to conquer anxiety and then put it in practice. It is fairly wordy for a picture book.
