Astrid is trying to avoid the Elders’ attempts to capture her; if she wants to fight back she has to keep moving. Astrid knew the Elders would send someone after her and Fintan and Morgan had been selected; they were the only ones that got assignments to go after other dragons. They were told Astrid had run off to Europe just ahead of them and was a dangerous target; a fellow dragon with inestimable wealth, whose parents had had anti-Elder sentiments when they had been alive. Astrid has committed what amounts to what is the single worst cardinal sin of their kind; she has revealed the existence of dragons to a non-shifted human. But Astrid’s real crime is being wealthier than the Elders and failing to mate like she was told; now her mate is dead and any subsequent trial would have a pre-determined outcome. Fintan and Morgan, with outside help, capture Astrid, but she seduces and bonds with the two men, driving doubt and a wedge between them. The more time the three spend together, the more information comes to light as to the true reasons the Elders are interested in Astrid and why they will not give her a fair trial. Their only option is to make a challenge, but before that can happen there is something they must do. This was an appealing shifter story that had a few twists and turns to keep it interesting and it was an enjoyable read. A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book and my comments here are my honest opinion.

I enjoyed the story of a female dragon shifter on the run. The group that wants her sends two male dragon shifters after her. She is willing to do anything to get her safety even if it means seducing both of them.
I enjoy paranormal romances and menage romances so this was a good fit for my interests. I liked that Astrid was smart and used her intelligence to keep a step ahead of the people after her. Even when she is caught, she doesn't give up. Fintan and Morgan don't tend to question their job but Astrid makes them start to doubt that what they are doing is right. Fintan thinks he can play her game and win but when he develops real feelings for her, he realizes that there is something more than just desire. Morgan is the more sensitive guy who tends to want to protect her. The sex scenes are well written and deliver the heat you want.

Inspiring storytelling with a lot of action to get the story going. If you enjoy Dragon shifters and you like that the bad guys can be heroes then you don't want to miss this one.

Fun read
What a fun read. A really clever, spitfire, never give up woman dragon and the two dragon hotties who were sent to retrieve her, then fell in love with her. Fast paced adventure that keeps you routing for the "captive". Can not wait to read more in this series!
