A fun, enchanting holiday romantic comedy!

I liked Sophia a lot. The rest of the characters were not as well developed but hers was great. She is the actress that has always been typecast in comedies and rom-cons. But only serious movies win oscars and that has always been her dream. While waiting to learn if she has landed the oscar-guaranteed part she and her sister take a ski vacation. There she finds herself in her own real life rom-com. Good story.

This book literally had me laughing from the opening sentence!
Sophia is one of hollywood’s highest paid actors, but none of her work has gotten her close enough to her dream of getting an oscar nomination. Her sister Chelsea’s divorce was just finalized and the sisters decide to take a vacation during the holidays to get out of town. They head to Lake Tahoe where they're in for a fun-filled adventure.
I loved the story of Sophia and Chelsea and the adventures they have in Lake Tahoe. Amooi crafts lovely charming characters wrapped up in a non-stop hilarious story that will have you laughing the whole way through!

This was extremely funny right from the beginning and my favorite Rich Amooi book so far. It reminded me a tiny bit of "Notting Hill." The only reason it dips into PG13 is because of some (very funny) musings about orgasms.

A well written rom com set over Christmas at Lake Tahoe. I could see this as a super cute, sweet, feel good Hallmark movie. Easy to pick up and put down.

Another cute & amusing rom-com from this writer.
Engaging characters, good story, some humor. Very sweet and essentially PG rated.
FYI: I highly recommend this writer's books. But I believe he only does ebooks so I'd suggest going to his author's website & adding your email to his newsletter. He periodically sends out notices of free books or special sale prices for them so you're able to try one & enjoy them as much as I do.

Sweet, without being too cheese. This book is fun and perfect for the winter holidays. I wish there would be more fresh, original Christmas books like this. I read it when it was published, but I just read it again and I like it as much as the first time.

Amooi understands how Christmas brings Love 🫂
If there was one thing missing from Amooi's oeuvre, it was a Christmas romcom and I couldn't be more delighted with his solution.
Moreover, if you're a A list movie star depressed by the dearth of novels in the genre that feature you as an empathetic main character, despair no more!
Like his other novels, Kiss Me In The Snow follows a standard romantic comedy structure, reassuringly familiar, leading to the ending that you hope for.
It's full of slightly corny laugh out loud quips, characters of all ages and (most importantly) canine humor relief. It even has a few slightly risque comments that make it that much more lovable.
So grab some hot chocolate, put your tv on the fireplace channel and snuggle in for a couple of hours for this cute winter read. I promise that you'll feel a little bit happier when you're done.

Fun romance
I enjoyed reading this. Beautiful setting in Lake Tahoe during the winter holiday. A stubborn actress, jaded from past relations because of her high profile status, has a hard time relaxing on a spontaneous holiday vacation with her sister. A fun read as she learns that not all men have ulterior motives for being nice.

Rich's book are sooo rich!
Seriously they are so fun to read and I can't wait to start the next. The characters are playful and warm. The plots are cute and the endings are happy.

I like reading Christmas romances this time of year, but I just couldn't get into this one. Sophia and her sister (already forgot her name) spend Christmas/New Year's in Tahoe, so Sophia can take a break from obsessing about getting the role that will win her an Oscar, and her sister can celebrate her divorce being final.
Sophia meets Ethan, and sparks do not fly. Sophia spends most of her time with Ethan being a rude jerk, I couldn't see why Ethan was interested in her (especially since he didn't know she was famous when they met).
Ethan seemed like a good guy at first, but he proved to be pretty selfish in the end. Sure, he loved Sophia and wanted it to work, but only if she gave up her career and moved to Tahoe. What a compromising guy.
Sophia's sister was annoying, and Ethan's dog had a drool problem that I found completely gross. I did like the Tahoe setting and uncle Al, but that's about it.

sweet, fun book.
I loved the characters and location of this book. Lake Tahoe is a really beautiful spot. The story is fun and well developed. Ethan is a sweet, genuine guy. Sophia has her flaws, but they have great chemistry. Very enjoyable, clean read.

Gah! This was such a cute read and again another refreshing story. A famous actress, Sophia needing a break as she didn’t get the Oscar-winning role she wanted. Her sister, Chelsea, needing a break after a bitter divorce, both take solace in the snow at Lake Tahoe.
Ethan, he lives in Lake Tahoe, suffered a broken heart after his ex cheated on him with an actor. Mike, his best friend, a widow and a father.
These 4 meet and wham bam it is like fireworks night!!
Ethan has zero clue to who Sophia is at the first and for her it’s refreshing. He sees her for who she is without the money and fame. However, when he knows the truth things go a little wobbly.
Reading this with #StormDennis still raging was a nice getaway, I would have loved to feel the sun on my face but instead, I got snow. I have done a lot of skiing and I do love the snow, which gave me a smile on face reading this. I even had a conversation with the boy about skiing in Lake Tahoe, but alas we are sticking to Europe this year!
I really enjoyed this story, it was cute and heartfelt (well they all are). I love that this was a woman needing a break but knowing what she wants. However is derailed by love, so what will happen with Hollywood if it comes a-knocking?
Chelsea is a fantastic character, she really does not let her sister get away with ANYTHING! She calls her out on her BS and stands her ground for what she believes in. You have to love this girls’ spunk.
I warmed to Sophia instantly, when we meet her she is frazzled and she is down. When she hits the snow, she becomes rejuvenated, still stubborn but she relaxes and lets her guard down. Giving us the reader the chance to fall in love with her too. Ethan, well he is your everyday Superman and seriously what is there not to love about a ruggedly handsome guy who is basically Superman! Just one question, where can I meet him?
Uncle Al is fantastic and I love the font of knowledge he has. So much so I have been repeating it to people…I hope it is true what he says!!
Yes, you got it, another winner from me! Another book to make your heart sing and to leave a goofy smile on your face. (Don’t worry I will go back to my dark and less smiling books soon). I have not been let down yet by Mr Amooi and I really don’t think he could (no pressure!).

A warm, natural romance
Unhappy movie star and her recently divorced sister decide to give up on men and go away to a secluded Christmas vacation in snowy Lake Tahoe. Naturally they run into two very eligible men almost immediately. Mr. Amooi deftly plays both couples through their quirks and blocks until they come together and you can feel yourself smiling as you continue to read. This is sweet, romantic, heartwarming and a welcome change from all the tortured lovers usually found in this genre. One unusual thing about this kindle version was it looked like it was typed by a typewriter. Not sure how this effect was achieved, but it made me a bit nostalgic. Could it have actually been typed? What fun.

Squee! This felt so much like reading a Hallmark movie. Big city girls escape their hectic life to a small-town retreat where they’re swept off their feet by big-hearted flannel-clad hotties. In the meantime, wildlife encounters, hijinks, and other calamities ensue. Sophia and Ethan have an almost hate-at-first-sight, enemies-to-lovers vibe about their first interactions. But it’s all so sweet and fun that you can’t help but cheer for them to get past all the things keeping them apart and just celebrate their Happily Ever After. The simultaneous fall of her sister and his best friend only added to the joyful chaos. I enjoyed this so much and don’t want to let go of these characters just yet.

Oh my, I just LOVED this! This romantic comedy had me laughing out loud right from the start. The witty banter between the characters was very entertaining and the romance was just so sweet. Other than some mild cursing (no f-bombs), the story was very wholesome and would be appropriate for most listeners. The antics of Bear the dog were adorable! It was very well written and the narration by B.J. Harrison was perfection. I love romances that leave me smiling at the end. Kiss Me in the Snow was a terrific listening experience and I would highly recommend it.

This is a sweet clean Christmas romance. Two sisters meet two best friends while on Christmas vacation and sparks fly. There are twists and back story that add to the suspense of will they or won't they. Throw in a cute little girl and an overly excited LARGE dog and you have a charming story!
The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed. B.J. Harrison's voice is perfect for this novel.

When two sisters run away for the holidays swearing off men you kinda know romance is coming!
This was a cheesy, fun, quick and festive read!
And lucky for us we got two romance stories in one!
I really enjoyed this but I think Sophie’s character was the most developed and I wish Chelsea and Mike had gotten more time.
Their story I actually really liked and then add in Violet could have made for some great funny and fun moments.
Other than that it was a cute fun read!

Rich Amooi is an incredible story teller. I have devoured his books, and have a hard time putting them down. I enjoy not only the characters he creates but the story line and interaction between the characters. I love how I can laugh out loud and often while reading his books. This book was not a disappointment. And I am looking forward to many more to read and thoroughly enjoy. I highly recommend Rich Amooi being added to your favorite authors list..

Sophie, a famous Hollywood movie star, goes with her sister to Lake Tahoe to get away from it all. Mainly she wanted to get away from men! LIttle did she expect to find someone quite interesting who just happened to have never heard of her. Sophie's sister is determined to make a match for Sophie and then she too finds herself falling in love with someone.

I always enjoy Rich Amooi stories. There’s humor, there’s banter, and a whole lot of “aawws.” This was such a sweet story. When stubborn meets romantic! Set in beautiful Lake Tahoe, you’ll fall in love with our MC Ethan in a heartbeat. Super star Sophia gets into some vulnerable situations but that’s where all the fun is. Pick this one up for a sweet holiday happily ever after.

Funny and Sweet
This author always hits it out of the park! When I read a book by Rich Amooi, I know I'll love the characters, the witty banter, all the events the couple is involved with, the romance, and the happy ending. Add in Violet, Bear, and Uncle AL, and you have a perfect combination of people for a perfect love story-Hollywood meets Lake Tahoe.

A great book by Rich Amooi my first one in fact. I loved it. It felt like I just sat down to read and I was done. A tale of two sisters going on a no boyfriend vacation, but what happens is they meet two men those men wins the hearts of the sisters. I laughed and smiled the whole way through the book. Very well written will definitely buy more of his books.
