Well I agree with most this is a very good book indeed. I do not have the best of Warhammer knowledge aside from playing WH40K a very long time ago and I’ve not read any of the other books in this series, but I couldn’t resist something different from reading the back whilst it was sitting on the shelf. A good detailed story with good character background, more than enough to get you through with little to no background knowledge. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Give it a good go, it won’t disappoint and will keep you reading to find out what happens to Logar and the Word Bearers at every chapter end.
Genuinely one of the best HH series books I’ve read. There’s no games workshop gate keeping in this book by using overly complicated in game terminology and because of that it reads well for long term game enthusiasts and first time GW readers alike.
