Sphero Robotics: Coding for STEM
Sphero Robotics and Coding for STEM introduces teachers and students to basic programming concepts as they relate to the Sphero robot. These concepts can be used when coding in other programming languages like Java and C. The book is aimed at integrating coding concepts with Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) content taught in classrooms. A substantial portion of the book is dedicated toward teaching math and science concepts taught in 3th through 6th grade. The book includes lots of examples and problems that have been worked out to demonstrate how Sphero helps teach these concepts. The book covers concepts in physical science, algebra, and geometry.
The book is aimed at teachers and students but can be used by anyone wanting to learn how to program Sphero.
I spent thirteen years in the classroom teaching these math and science concepts. Teaching these concepts with robot like Sphero would have made my job easier and a lot more fun. I teach teachers now as an Instructional Specialist for my school district. As an Instructional Specialist I use the lessons in this book to show teachers how Sphero can help them teach concepts students might usually find boring. Programming and teaching science with Sphero is fun and challenging. I've seen students learn and understand these concepts quickly.

Good needs update
Good introduction to sphero robots. It may need updating though. Thank you for making it simple to read through this book.
