A finely illustrated book that left me hungry for greater depth and surprised that there was no bibliography to help me explore more of the stories.

I was originally interested in the Langtip brothers - Chinese-Australians who served in the Middle East and were part of the historic charge at Beersheba - but I would have loved to have been pointed to more on Trooper Frank Fisher (grandfather of Cathy Freeman), Honorary Lieutenant Septimus Power (official war artist) and Major William Oldfield.

Excellent starting point to whet an appetite.
