Furuta es una extraña mezcla entre vergüenza ajena y mucho nihilismo.
Necesito terminar con todo esto de una vez por todas. Necesito que acaben con Furuta. La revelación de las vigas me ha parecido un poco bochornosa.
Y ahí es cuando me pregunto también qué fue lo que pasó con Rize. Es como que TG mete tantos personajes y al final no hay una buena dosificación de todos ellos, aparecen y desaparecen de la trama a su antojo. Un punto flaco, como apreciación.

(1) I think the manga series did the characters' backstories and explain their motives much clearer than the anime series, which is great because when I watched the anime sometime it feels like a lot of things and how characters formed their relationships among themselves are only done 'off-screen which is pretty annoying. But to be fair, the anime does have better and clearer fight scenes!

Here we go, this volume was fucking epic.
Kankei is back with the ghouls. He's thinking, working, trying to find a solution as the One Eyed King. He needs to come up with a plan of peace, but he know it's not as simple as asking for it. He has to work with the ghouls, show power, to get any type of deal working. But what could go wrong? Oh yeah insane clown dressing up idiots bombing everyone. Will the CGC and Ghouls work together or is it a lost cause?
This has all the badass moments I wanted from RE finally here. Villains who feel dangerous, plotting from CGC and Ghouls alike, plenty of insane fights, and planning and executing orders. This gives a bit of a political side, mostly the media, and how people are portrayed. When Kankei decides to work with the ghouls he gets plenty done, and his new haircut is pretty sexy. Oh top of that the deaths here are brutal and this was one of the easier volumes to follow on what was happening.
I feel this is the strongest volume in the series cause of how clear it was. A 4.5 or even 5 out of 5.

SERIE TOKYO GHOUL RE vol. 10
Lettura di gruppo E&L.
Direi un bel 4.5 stelle per questo volume. Più chiaro degli altri, ma il voto è così alto soprattutto perchè ritroviamo vecchi personaggi e vecchie dinamiche che sono poi quelle che mi hanno fatto innamorare del manga. Tanto che l'ho letto proprio con calma, gustandomi parola per parola.
Ci sono anche delle rivelazioni abbastanza importanti e la situazione si complica.
Ma...ma come finisce? nooooo datemi il prossimo!
Mi dispiace per le recensioni stringate, ma voglio evitarvi qualsiasi spoiler.
E' da leggere punto e basta.
Unico difetto per me, sono delle tavole con dei baloon scritti davvero troppo piccoli. Vero che sto invecchiando, ma vi assicuro che ci vuole una lente di ingrandimento, perchè sono impossibili da leggere.

I’m fucking LIVING for this badass Black Goat squad. This king is THE king, alright (the new slicked back hair look is like 11/10). Tsukiyama as the right hand man? yES!! Naki!!! Nishio!!! THE BLACK DOG AND THE DEVIL APE 😭👏🏼 On the downside though, Urie and Mutsuki still annoy me to no end 😪
By the way, the HELL was that unnecessarily sexual scene with Washuu the psycho? Undressing...and declaring his love?? 🤢 I’ve never cringed so hard in my life. Why do all the gays in this series have to be so creepy and unlikable? I’m so bitter.

In the sequel series to Tokyo Ghoul, Haise Sasaki has been tasked with teaching his special squad of half-ghouls how to be outstanding Investigators, but this is complicated by the troublesome personalities of his subordinates and his own uncertain grasp of his Ghoul powers. Will he and the members of his squad become heroes or monsters, taken out by the other squads in the Commission of Counter Ghoul...?!
In Tokyo Ghoul:re vol 10 Ken is back baby!! He is totally making himself comfortable in his new role and the word KING is being thrown around all over the place. The ghouls are cohesifying under his leadership and we get a structure that can directly combat the corrupt CCG. We actually have people on both sides of the field that we care about and others that we relish seeing fall. The battles take a little bit to get going... we are seeing the new foundation being laid for how this is all going to go down... but it is SOOOOO exciting once they erupt! I couldn't believe who was cut down so swiftly and I'm dying to see the end and whether they get up or not...
Tokyo Ghoul:re vol 10 is just like the cover once again... I can't say anything bad about it!! I know, what the freak am I saying?! Yes, I TOTALLY understood the ENTIRE volume. Every chapter!! I was vague about one chapter because I'm not totally sure who they were talking about, but otherwise I knew who everyone was, I understood what was happening, it was like having my mind operated on and coming out the otherside totally in the know!! I can't be MORE excited about a volume than I am this one... I even really love the direction this is taking!!
I was totally stunned how things that happened back in Tokyo Ghoul were revealed and clarified! I don't know what was revealed later in the series but here in Tokyo Ghoul:re vol 10 we learn there was more to it all than we know. Yes, these revelations just keep coming... I really, really loved how all this love built up around Akira. She was a favorite for me when I only knew Haise and then to see the arc with the Owl and now to see ALL OF THIS go down for her... it is what the Tokyo Ghoul series has always been about... ghoul and human relations and its a beautiful thing!
Our main character has done another appearance change. It's getting so as I'm used to this happening and so now in Tokyo Ghoul:re vol 10 I'm totally prepared and not freaking out at all! The scenes with Urie effected me to a surprising degree... I've always just seen him as Haise's rival at the CCG but this time I felt for him as an almost ghoul person (Q). I think part of that is just how powerful the appearance of his ghoul opponent was... such a strong character design. It felt like something truly powerful was gunning for Urie and it wasn't going to end easily either. The battles I suspect will get even better in the next volume as the action rises ...but make sure to check out the black suits chasing Ken! That was good stuff!!
Tokyo Ghoul:re vol 10 perfectly set me up for the next set of battles in this amazing battle series. I understood EVERYTHING and its an amazingly heady feeling! I highly suggest this series... it takes what happened in Tokyo Ghoul and totally turns everything on its head and then projects it into the clouds... I kid you not, its totally worth reading from beginning to end!!

KANEKI & TOUKA ARE FUCKING CANON OMG OMG OMG OMG OMAKERGNKRFKVAJVHKAD.
OKAY.
Kaneki & friends meet eh Great Wheel Act Organization that helps out ghouls & to heal Akira, they need the RC suppressor drug from the CCG’s labs & Kaneki’s going to get it. Furata outlines a plan to the CCG & advises they have Juuzou protect the main office & have the other teams all spread out around the other Wards in case the clowns or other ghouls attack again. Juuzou is to be their replacement for Arima. One of Touka’s friends is getting married to Investigator Kuroiwa & she’s wondering if he could track Touka down…
The clowns & ghouls attack the CCG branches in all of the wards, including the head office in Ward 1 & then Kaneki, Naki & Shuu show up. Meanwhile, the Qs run into Donato Porpora (Amon’s ghoul adoptive father whose a criminal) & he’s leading the ghouls. And Urie is pinned to the ceiling forced to watch as Donato starts dismembering Higemaru OMG. He eventually gets free & tells Higemaru to run & Donata remembers that the investigator who captured him was Urie’s father :O & they fight!! The “V” Squad (Furata’s guys) come to suppress the ghouls. Juuzou notices the some of the clowns are actually humans?! So they can’t kill them all blindly. Then Juuzou faces the No-Face ghoul from the auction!! Amon is resuscitated by Dr. Kanou - AS A GHOUL? —& BEING FORCE FED (IN THE PAST) - and the CCG have a case of Amon & let him out while Kaneki + friends are trying to get the RC suppressor drug to save Akira. Urie loses control of his power & Saiko’s going to save him; if he can’t get it under control, the CCG will exterminate him. She manages to stop him & tells him she loves him?! :D Wonder if he’ll remember that later :P Kaneki wants to try to save Amon, but the others & Ayato tell him he’s responsible for everyone else fighting out there for him & can’t let his emotions get him now - Takizawa & this other chick, the Black Sister? will try to bring Amon back, but Kaneki has to go as the King. Mutsuki is after a ghoul named Uma, who puts on Sasaki’s face & Mutsuki reveals she loves him! :O NO WAY GIRL TOUKA & KANEKI ARE THE SHIP! And it’s like freaky obsessive cuz she stabs the hell out of Uma with Sasaki’s face & kind of embraces the corpse after… Takizawa fights Amon & I think he’s successful. In the meantime, the Qs are all alive, but some of them hurt. Akira undergoes a smooth surgery with the RC suppressor & Amon is with them, too, alive & sane atm. Amon & Touka finally meet, & he tells her he’s not angry at her for killing old man Mado, but it’s the world’s fault for putting them in these awful situations. They both need to see Akira, but neither’s gone yet. And in the CCG, Furuta takes over as Kichimura WAshuu. He also introduces the Oggai, children who are the next generation of Qs & it’s research he continued doing. And he puts on this bizarre demo; they bring out “Sasaki” (a fake) & they kill him & slaughter a bunch of clowns on stage & Furata demands a complete annihilation of ghouls & its like a craziness possesses the investigators to follow his idiocy. AMON & KANEKI HAVE A HEART TO HEART & THEY FINALLY SEEM TO UNDERSTAND EACH OTHER A BIT!! IT’S WHAT THEY NEEDED SO LONG AGO & THEY FINALLY GOT THIS CHANCE TO TALK AS PERSON TO PERSON, WITHOUT THE TITLE OF GHOUL AND HUMAN STANDING BETWEEN THEM!! Furata made like a 100 more little Q’s, practically little Kanekis, that crazy fuck. The Qs (Sasaki’s old squad) figure out the executed Sasaki wasn’t actually him. TOUKA & KANEKI TALK & SHE ASKS IF HE’S A VIRGIN HAHAHAHAHA OMG FINALLY THIS IS EVERYTHING!!! OMG & SHE SAYS WHEN THE TIME’S RIGHT SHE’LL LET HIM DO IT WITH HER & KANEKI’S HAVING AN INTERNAL MELTDOWN OMG LOL - Furata puts on another demo in public this time, but with ghouls from the Goat’s group & it’s the new kid Qs tracking ghouls down so KAneki says they’ll have to be on the move. MUTSUKI SHOWS UP AT RE! She starts fighting Kaneki then leaves him to an Investigator & goes for Touka, telling her YORIKO HER OLD FRIEND IS GETTING MARRIED & TOUKA FEIGNS INDIFFERENCE! They manage to escape AND OMG TOUKA KISSES KANEKI AHHHHHH FINALLY OMG OMG!!! <3 <3 THEY’RE FUCKING CANON MY SHIP IS CANON GOD DAMN IT!! AND OMG KANEKI TOUCHES HER BOOBS & IT FASCINATED BY THE BOUNCINESS OMGGGGG AND THEY STRIP DOWN AND THEY’RE SO AWKWARD BUT LIKE THEY’RE CANON HAIHFLAEILRGHEKR AND OMGGGG THEY HAVE SEX OMG OMG THEY ARE FUCKING CANON.

Then Kuroiwa & Yoriko get married & Mutuski comes to the wedding & Urie only comes cuz she’s there OMG he’s crushing on her!! And MUTSUKI EVEN SAYS SHE LOVES SASAKI & URIE’S A BIT SHOCKED I THINK. Kaneki & Touka were watching the wedding too from afar & she gives him a ring with her parents’ names in it & he wears it around his neck <3 <3 AWWW

Urie has grown so much as a character and I don’t dislike him like I did in the beginning. I think he has lost a lot and is only trying to survive in his own, twisted way.
I like that Naki and the white suits are joining Kaneki’s team and how he fought against him to earn his respect (since Kaneki killed Jason). I loved seeing my dear Shuu again, even if they’re only using him for his money –I think he honestly supports Kaneki no matter what and will to go hell for him.
Furuta is a fucked up dude who only wanted Rize for himself, which is such a stupid reason to start the war between the CCG and the ghouls (from the ex Aogiri tree or random ones). I also don’t understand Uta: he’s not loyal to anyone but himself and I guess you could say these guys just want to see the world burn for no reason at all.
Kaneki is “the goat” and I can’t stop laughing at that, I’m sorry.
Juuzou visiting Shinohara? Top shit. My little king never forgets his alliances.
And Kuroiwa marrying Touka’s friend out of nowhere? WHAT?
Also WTF with the guy getting naked just after he talked to Urie? Idk, I guess the author is low key kinda making queer characters despicable. Another example of this is Tohru, who we already knew is a trans man. But after we see his past, he became almost a sociopath and a sadist.
The final chapter with Amon hurt. How much more does he have to lose? God damn it.

I came in this series actively cheering for someone to off Urie. And now here we are, in vol 10, and I'm desperately hoping someone will save him. That, ladies and gents, is dang good character development.
Also, Saiko is amazing and deserves all the things. A+ use of Otaku obsession.
(And I will never get over Kaneki in a suit with that ridiculous hair.)

What can I say? This volume was far better than the previous one - we had a lot more Kaneki in this, more plot and I was able to understand what the heck was going on :D

This one was definitely better than the last volume. The plot was better and it was much easier to understand what was going on.
