Amissus is a Dramione story which uses the amensia trope. I am a huge fan of amnesia in stories. The premise of this one is that Hermione wakes up the day after her engagement party with no memories of Draco. Her reaction to waking up in bed with Draco was spot on for Hermione. I had to laugh a lot during that scene.

As the story progresses you soon find out that Hermione was slipped a potion which means that the culprit has to be someone close to either her or Draco and there are four possible suspects. It’s from their that the story gets going with Draco trying to woo Hermione while Hermione and Draco work with Harry and Ginny to figure things out.

I really loved how Hermione acts towards Draco even if seven years of her life is missing. She doesn’t overreact and they both agree to take things slow which helps them both. I also love how their is an amazing friendship between Harry and Draco and Ginny and Hermione. Anytime they had scenes together I knew I was in for a treat.

Towards the end everything is wrapped up as nicely as it can be. I can’t say the culprit was much of a surprise though but it was still nice to see how it was dealt with.
