Chance at Love on Mystic Bay
Maddie has never been boy crazy. She’s never cared about relationships. She’s never dreamed of a knight in shining armor coming to her rescue. She’d much rather build her own empire and spend nights in with a cup of tea and a good book, and she’s found the perfect place to do both, Fireweed Island. Granted, she has very good reasons why she avoids the opposite sex, but those secrets will never escape her lips.
But when she promises the wonderful woman who owns a lavender farm on Hound Island that she’d meet her son and tour the farm, she had no idea her world would turn upside down.
If she were to pick a dream guy, he’d be it.
Chance doesn’t have time to date or worry about relationships. He’s living his father’s dreams and making sure his mom will be set if he decides to leave the farm and pursue his real passion. The problem is that Chance’s mother hasn’t stopped rattling off reasons why he needs to meet the “girl who owns the tea shop”, and when he finally makes the trek to Fireweed Island, he realizes his mom was right.
Maddie is incredible. But she’s also not interested. It’s written all over her face. And this is why Chance has given up on the idea of finding someone. It’s just too complicated.

Maddie has her reasons for traveling halfway across the country, leaving behind her family, her past and whatever trust in men she may have had left. Fast forward a few years and Maddie wants to see if there are any good guys out there. When Chance Harlen comes blazing in to her store and saving it from ruin, she thinks she may have found her man.
Yes this book could be read as a standalone. But my question would be...WHY would you want to only read just one? This whole series is absolutely amazing and one of my very favorites by Bolton. I get the squishy, ooey gooey heart flutters with each and every book in the series. And not to mention, I seriously smile the whole way through them all. Bolton delivers brilliant writing, terrific characters, and amazing atmosphere. So yeah? Why read just one? Get them all!
Chance is such a terrific guy who could do no wrong and has the patience of a saint when it comes to Maddie. I am cracking up right now thinking about her silly antics and how he calmly handled her and her crazy ideas. I am so glad to get their story and it was a fresh one at that. I just love how Bolton gives each couple a story with a unique twist and sweet romance.
Fun and enjoyable, sweet and romantic...CHANCE AT LOVE ON MYSTIC BAY is sure to meet all your bookish needs! 5 Stars!

Sweet love
Chance and Maddie are so cute! Maddie had a rough go of it a few years ago, but being stood up at the alter. She moved to the cute islands to get away from it all. Chances mom had been trying to get him and Maddie to meet and finally got the chance when the lavender delivery person couldn't do it. After that Chance and Maddie couldn't resist.

Really cute, as always! I loved Chase and Maddie, and the story had a bit of an interesting twist. The ending really made the book for me!

I was anxious to read Maddies story. Was really surprised at the twist in her past in the storyline.

This is such a really good series and I absolutely loved Maddie and Chance's story. If I had been dumped at the alter by a jerk like Mark, I probably would have signed off of men too! And Chance is certainly the perfect choice if you're looking "to get inside the head of a man." She just hadn't figured on the sizzling attraction between the two. Each of their (not so great) past life experiences and their future plans totally at odds with each other, with some exceptional secondary characters, along with some unexpected turn of events and we have a funny, heartwarming, amazing story. Could not stop reading!
This series is an auto buy for me. Characters have each found a resident spot right in my heart.

Amazing
This was another amazing story by Karice Bolton. I love her books so much.
This book was so good. I loved the relationship Mattie and Holly had. I love the relationship chance had with his mom and brother. I just love these books. I love all the characters and feel attached to all of them. I love Chance. I just love absolutely everyone and everything about this book. It is beyond amazing.
I recommend this book to everyone. Don't give it a second thought. Pick it up and read it. You won't want to stop until you are finished.

What do you do when your life is turned upside down and inside out
Start again, Maddie did that she's been running her tea shop on Fireweed and is happy.
A delivery from a different delivery guy, an interesting pep talk and decission, some faulty lights and a heart that needed to mend
Love this book as with all of the Island Country Series. Couldn't put it down.

Chance can be easily sidetracked, “you’re not doing a very good job at getting us out the door,” I whispered. Chance slid his hand down my hips and pulled me deeper into his body, allowing me to feel every part of him. “Not doing a good job at all.” When speaking to your woman's parents it's always best to be polite, and Chance was, "Chance nodded. “Well, it wasn’t easy to keep my hands to myself. I wanted to deck him, sir.” I liked this book, Chance was real sweet.

5 star rating for a 5 star book and author
I wont give the plot away but this is a story you will not want to put down once you start it. The characters Chance and Maddie will keep you enthralled, Maddie doesn't let getting stood up at the alter to deter her and her plan to counter this is quite entertaining and will Chances's charm win through, read and find out. Another excellent Karice Bolton book in this series.
