I didn’t know what to expect when I picked up “Demon” by Peter Mark May, but I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. Peter interwove demons from Hell into a modern setting, with style and grace. The pace was consistent and the narrative was easy to follow. It was a nice change of pace from the normal hack-and-slash horror that seems to permeate the market these days. “Demon” left me with the possibility that it really could happen. Well done, Peter.
