Only 3 hours to nova!!! Spock and McCoy are hurled through the portals of time. . . trapped in the ice age of a world ready to explode!
The authentic re-creation of an astonishing voyage of the Starship Enterprise . . . Over 300 action photographs from the episode All our Yesterdays in the television series created by Gene Roddenberry
This is one of my favorite episodes of the original series and this fotonovel captures it well. You have stills from the episode with the appropriate dialogue added. In order to tell the whole story clearly, they also add in "thoughts" that the characters are having. These did not appear as dialogue in the actual show but do a good job of bridging the gap between the action we can't see here and the reasonable conclusions to draw about their thoughts. This is a good one.
I watched ST when it first came out. I recently read a sequel to this story, and felt I needed to revisit it. The fotonovel format is interesting, but I would have preferred a text novel. It’s a rather odd tale for ST, involving a planet whose star is going to explode. Hence, almost everyone has escaped into assorted scenarios in the past of the planet.
Another clever use of stills from the TV series combined with conversation/narrative "balloons" to create a graphic novel of an original Classic Star Trek episode.
