Beth is a novel for those readers who love dystopian futuristic stories. It is also for sci-fi and fantasy lovers. Set in the not too far off future, after a cautastrophic disater, Elsabeth is searching for a way out of her boring life. She decides to give up her job and security in the city to purchase a home in the countryside for herself and her unusal pets. Once she arrives in the small hamlet of Ridge Lake, strange things begin to happen. She meets Jordan, the Chief of Police and many of the townsfolk. The newly bought home needs repair and work done. Strange occurances visit the once quiet town. Elisabth's life has taken a turn to adventure.

Getting started in this series. Funny bunnies. I love the dark humor and I am really interesed in getting to know Jordan more.
