Such a lovely story!!I really enjoyed East of Redemption it was refreshing and fast paced!!I loved the storyline in this story and the adventure,it makes the story entertaining!Rain is a strong heroine and Easton is cocky,smart,charming and sweet.These two together were perfect!
This is a story for second chances and forgiveness,it's full of adventure,action and mystery!

"His brown eyes reached into my soul and stirred up trouble. An easily recognizable sensation of how we used to be together- unstoppable- threatened my resolve against him.
After I read books that I ABSOLUTELY LOVED, I always seem to have a hard time keeping my reviews completely spoiler free. Due to the fact that I really don't want to give anything away because you REALLY need to read and experience this book on your own, I've decided to do it in the least 'spoileriffic' way possible- a quick rant of just how much I loved this book.
I think it goes without saying that Molly E. Lee can do no wrong. She has this uncanny ability to create such depth, emotion and heart stopping adventure in her books, that you almost forget you are reading a romance novel. (Yes, there are steamy scenes...don't worry.) Easton and Rain are both struggling to move on from their pasts; pasts that involve their love for one another and the untimely death of someone they both loved dearly. Just like her first novel Edge of Chaos, the main characters are very complex. The guilt that eats away at Easton and the heartache that plagues Rain is felt by the reader throughout the novel. You can literally feel a pressure on your chest while you are reading their inner monologues in regards to their emotions.
Overall, I really loved this book. Molly E. Lee truly is a force to be reckoned with and I cannot wait to see what her next book entails!

If it were ever possible for Bear Grylls and Indiana Jones to procreate then the H in this would be their love child. He's got his own tv show where he shows viewers how to survive in the wild (although, unlike Bear Grylls, he doesn't feel the need to do stuff with urine, something that I'm most grateful for) and he's also a treasure hunter. His love interest is a wildlife photographer and daughter of a renowned archaeologist. Oh and they grew up together, so mucho history there.
I loved that the will they won't they between the two of them wasn't all that was going on in this, the treasure hunt and the extreme survival set up really ramped up the tension.
The detail in this is fantastic, a great job.

Romance and adventure delightfully mix in this fast-paced second-chance love story. Molly E. Lee delivers a story uniquely enthralling, especially for those of us who love pretty much anything inspired by Indiana Jones. This second-chance romance is full of feels, crackling with tension as our two protagonists—Easton and Rain—scale dangerous mountains, slide across sliver-thin bridges and trek into dark, hidden caves in Israel in search of fabled treasure. I absolutely devoured this book. It's full of adventure, humor, and is a second chance with your first love. It's a fast-paced read that will keep you turning the pages with bated breath at what's going to happen next with Easton and Rain. I highly recommend the Love on the Edge series for anyone that's looking for a different romance that stands apart from others.

I've had this book on my kindle for a bit and I had other books I have chosen to read in front of it. And now that I finally have gotten to it, I am hitting myself for it. WHAT a fantastic journey of a book. Not ONLY do you get a beautiful second chance romance with well deserving, kick-ass characters, but you also get an amazing adventure right along with it!
This story is a little like Indiana Jones meets a hot steamy romance novel...if I found Harrison Ford attractive. And if Indiana Jones wasn't so reckless.
Easton and Rain have, in a sense, grown up together. Harrison is Rain's father and unofficially adopted Easton at a young age. Harrison was an archaeologist and took Rain and Easton on all of his digs and treasure hunts. Easton and Rain fell so deep in love, being around each other so often, as well. These adventures set a fire in Easton's life and mind. He wanted to do this for his entire life, with Rain by his side. Early in the story, we read of tragedy when Harrison and Easton were on an expedition and Harrison didn't make it back. Struck with grief over Harrison's death, Easton abandoned Rain and set out on his own path.
When we meet them again, Easton has a hit (well, waning hit show that is near cancellation) show about daredevil treasure hunting. He needs to set out on a BIG score on his own to save his show. Rain is a successful photographer, snapping shots of animals in Africa when Easton finds her. This is the first time they have spoken in years. He snares her into working with him with the plan: of returning to the cave where her father perished for the big score that they only scratched the surface of.
Sparks fly in this one. We have YEARS of uncovered emotions to get through with these two. In addition, they are battling their emotions and outside forces. I mean....this book has a little of everything: animal attacks, a rival treasure hunting troupe tracking them, gun fire, and on top of all that, having to survive the elements (I mean, aside from the animal).
Overall, this book was so enjoyable to read. I give it a solid 5 stars! Pick it up and take an adventure with Easton and Rain!

This was my second book by Molly E. Lee and it was really great! Rain was a total bad-ass woman, she was so cool and so fearless. Easton was great, too, and his passion for excavating lost treasures was infectious as well. What I also liked was that both characters were in their late 20s, which is actually closer to my age than characters being in their early 20s – yes, I am THAT old. :)
Rain and Easton’s adventure to the cave in Israel was exciting and dangerous at the same time. To me the story wasn’t too predictable. Of course there were things I predicted correctly but there were also a lot of things I didn’t think of, which made the book even better.
Another thing I loved about the book was how well Molly researched the plot and the real background story. :D I was so surprised that the background story of this book was actually real; it made the book even more authentic! Well done, Molly!! :)

4.5 Are You With Me Stars
When Edge of Chaos came out I was super excited. I read it almost immediately after it's release. I was really looking forward to reading a NA romance with a side of adventure. And....it was OK. There was SOME adventure, but I was craving for something a little bit more.
I wasn't so sure that I was going to continue in this series, but after reading the blurb for East of Redemption I just couldn't resist. And boy I was not disappointed!!! This had everything in it that I didn't get in Edge of Chaos.
We meet Easton Walker, a young archeologist that learned from the best, Harrison Walker. Once upon a time Easton and Harrison's daughter, Rain were an item. In fact, Easton was on the verge of asking Harrison's permission to propose. Unfortunately Harrison's life was cut short during one of their expeditions, leaving Easton riddled with guilt. So much so that he left everything behind him, including Rain.
Fast forward 10 years later and destiny steps in to bring Easton and Rain together. Harrison's last expedition becomes Easton and Rain's latest adventure and there are many obstacles in their way, including their complicated past.
I really enjoyed reading this!! It was jammed packed with adventure and intrigue. Think Indiana Jones meets National Treasure. Add in a second chance romance and it's a winner! This can be read completely as a standalone so if this sounds like something you would be interested in, you can skip over Edge of Chaos if you haven't got to it yet.
I'm really excited to see how this series progresses with Depths of Salvation and Edge of Bliss.

This book was awesome!! The storyline, characters, adventure and everything else in it was perfection! I've never read a book quite like this one and for that I'm grateful. It made the experience of reading it so much better. After reading both this book and Edge of Chaos I find my life lacking adventure, lol. All of you guys should add this one to your tbr!

This is the second book from Molly E Lee and I have to say, she is quickly becoming one of my favorite NA authors! I really had a lot of fun reading this book, but I do have to say, I enjoyed her first book slightly better. However, this book was really great too. I think that this series would be a great one for readers who are new to NA books. It still have some great romance, but does not have overly descriptive steamy scenes.
The writing in this book was great. The story flowed seamlessly and as short as it is, it was full of suspense! I loved the plot of this book. It was so original and I loved reading something that did not solely rely on the romance, but included so much more! This book was full of grief and pain, but also forgiveness and second-chances.
I really enjoyed the characters in this book. Lee has an uncanny ability to create such lifelike characters. They are very relatable and likable. I also liked that with how short this book was, Lee was able to add so much depth and allowed readers to look into the struggles that these characters had been dealing with for years.
The one place that I would say the story faltered somewhat for me would be the romance. After having read Lee’s first book, Edge of Chaos, I just felt like I was more invested in their romance. Maybe that was because it focused more on the romance, where this one had more action and suspense. Don’t get me wrong, the romance was still really good. Sometimes I personally struggle with second-chance romance books because I like to experience the characters getting to know one another, rather than them already having a deep connection. For some reason, it just takes something away from the romance for me. But like I said, that was a personal problem I had with the book and I believe that a lot of people would not mind this.
Overall, I would defiantly continue to read Lee’s books. I cannot wait to get my hands on the next book in this series and am really looking forward to ANYTHING else that Lee writes. Her writing is fun, fluffy and just makes you feel good after reading them. I can already tell that Lee is going to write some phenomenal stuff in the future!

Once again Molly Lee has made me doubt my dull profession and rethink my career choice with her story of expert treasure hunter Easton and his treasure hunting filmmaker, Raindrop. Immediately upon opening this book, I was sucked into Lee’s treasuring hunting world filled with dust, deep caves, and echoing shuffles of feet, grunts and whispers. She had me hooked, enthralled and at times I swear I could find myself sneezing at the imaginary dust my mind had conjured up courtesy of the unbelievably well written story Lee had created. With East of Redemption, Lee really develops her craft and storytelling ability. She leads you on an epic journey with Easton and Raindrop as they seek the forbidden treasure of King Solomon but also the forbidden treasure of a second chance.
Easton has always been Rain’s compass and she his mirror. After years of struggling the loss of Rain’s treasure trove hunting father, Harrison, Easton and Rain set out together on a mission of their own uncovering the truths of Harrison’s predictions. Along the way, they battle their inner feelings of love and temptation toward one another. Inexplicably drawn together Easton and Rain must face all their fears both emotional and physical before coming full circle. Can these two make up for lost time?

With EDGE OF CHAOS, she brought us into the eye of a tornado and tore us to pieces as the main character tried to navigate an emotionally abusive relationship while chasing storms with a man who teaches her love can be better.
In EAST OF REDEMPTION, Lee brings us into the caves of Israel in search of lost treasure and lost love. Easton has spent years distancing himself from Rain after bearing witness to her father's death and being unable to forgive himself for the part he played in it. Rain has never really known the truth of why Easton broke her heart, but she still carries the scars of both his betrayal and her father's death with her everywhere she goes.
When Easton's reality treasure-hunting show is about to be cancelled, he knows the only way to get his ratings back is to visit the one place he never wanted to go back to--the cave where Rain's father died. I AM SPEECHLESS! I can´t even describe my feelings at the moment. I BLOODY LOVED THIS BOOK. I might say it was the best I´ve read this year. I just loved everything about it.
Easton Wells is treasure hunter following footsteps of his beloved mentor Harrison Walker who died by their last expedition while searching the treasure of King Solomon in Israel. He has his own survival show about hunting of hidden treasures. His show should be cancelled because of lack of viewers. He gets from the producers his last chance under one condition. He has to bring something unforgetable, some epic recording without any help to stay true to his survival skills. He has got proof about the existance of King Solomon´s treasure but noone is aware of it. But... he can´t do this alone. He needs help to find the only cave he couldn´t return for so many years because of what happend the last time he was there. So he decides to ask the one and only person he´s ever loved and left without saying anything - Harrison´s daughter Rain.
Rain Walker is successful photographer capturing animals in their natural surroundings. She is suprised to see Easton after almost decade. But maybe she can finally get closure about her father´s dead. And maybe get back her one and only love?

Mystery / Adventure / History / Romance - This book has it all!
This was a great read for me. Rain has easily become one of my favorite heroines. I love strong female leads that can keep up with the boys, but still have a feminine side.
The characters of this story were well-developed, the book was paced with the appropriate amount of action and adventure. I almost felt like I was watching an episode of Dual Survival mixed with National Treasure. The story was right up my alley, and a light enjoyable read. I would definitely recommend this book to others! It's my favorite out of the two "Love on the Edge" series books. I also appreciate the research Molly put into this book. It's great to be able to learn something while reading fiction.

This was a really good story. I liked both Rain and Easton and enjoyed their story a lot. This is the first book I've read by this author (which is apparently only the 2nd book she's written) and based on this I'm likely to try more of her work in the future.
Rain is a photographer that specializes in documenting rare and endangered animals in dangerous and hard to reach places. She grew up, the daughter of an archaeologist who traveled the world for his digs and took his wife and daughter with him. Along the way, they ended up (unofficially) adopting a boy (Easton) Rain's father found living on the streets.
Easton is the star of a reality TV show where he lives off the land survivalist style while hunting down treasures and antiquities. Easton grew up on the streets after escaping foster care. When he was taken in by Rain's family, he became close to her father and started working in archaeology digs with him at an early age.
Rain's father's obsession was the treasure of King Solomon and he was sure he'd found the right cave in Israel to search for it. He and Easton went to explore it (when Easton was only 19 years old) but a terrible accident brought his death and Easton was left with a load of guilt and maybe even some PTSD. Easton and Rain had been close friends as kids before falling in love in their mid-teens. They were a couple when the accident happened but Easton's guilt and sorrow caused him to leave Rain (with pretty much no warning) and the separation lasted 9 years. The things that broke it was Easton's show being threatened...not that I blamed him because the show was all he had. The producers gave him another shot if he could find something big and go in with only one other person to act as his camera person.
Easton knows that if he goes back for King Solomon's treasure he has to take Rain...as a tribute to her father. Since she's also a great photographer that knows her way around a camera, he seeks her out to ask her to come along. She's shocked to see him and unsure about his intentions but when she hears where he's heading, she can't help but say yes. She's pissed at Easton but Rain also still loves him and soon sees that he's eaten up with pain and guilt and she wants to clear the air on the past to see if it's possible for them to have a future together. It takes a while for Easton to come clean with her but he does eventually and Rain took things pretty well. Unfortunately, their mutual guilt/pain and all that made things difficult so it took a bit to work things out completely. The trek itself was rough, with multiple dangers along the way that threatened them, life and limb. Thankfully, Rain and Easton make it through the emotional and physical dangers and end the story starting a long-delayed HEA together.
This was a really enjoyable story. Both characters were well written and had a good amount of emotional depth. They both made mistakes but often love is blind and it can be easy to make decisions you think are right at the time but later realize are wrong. Overall, this was a very good story with a really good action storyline that blended well with the second-chance romance between Easton and Rain. I'd recommend this story. :)

2.5 stars rounded to 3 (1 star for the writing, 1 star for the h, and 0.5 stars for an interesting story)
It's hard to like a book if you really dislike one of the MCs for a majority of the book. In this case, I have an intense disdain for the H. He's a weasel, plain and simple. Other adjectives to describe him would include: selfish, lying, and cowardly. He not only bails on the h after her father dies, but doesn't contact her for 9 years until the day he needs something from her. Charming, right? Then he proceeds to lie to her face about the situation with which he needs her assistance. Isn't he a winner?
It doesn't help his case that he points out his own faults. He's a jerk. He's a liar. He's a coward. He's only thinking about himself. Man, if he weren't so selfish, he wouldn't be putting the h in so much danger. He wouldn't be lying to her. And wait for it...after she helps him out, he plans on never seeing her again. Wow, I just love him. Not. This is probably one of the few books where I didn't enjoy the H's pov. Did I really want to hear him say that he would "fill the void left by the h" with "countless women?" Yuck. No thanks. I would actually gird myself against anything stupid or selfish that he would reveal about himself.
Of course, he gets better and stops being so dumb, but it doesn't happen until way into the book. By then, I just wanted the h to want someone else. It was unfortunate.
I wish that the h was strong enough to resist him. Knowing that, since this is a romance, the two MCs are eventually going to get together, or in this case back together, was really distressing to me. I wanted her to figure his lies out earlier, to not be so broken by him that only he can "piece her back together" or "fix her." Needless to say, I was really frustrated.
Other than those issues, the writing was very engaging. The adventure and action aspect of this story was appealing. This book could have used another edit to fix some small issues with grammar, spelling, etc., but overall, I really enjoy Molly Lee's writing style. My hat's off to her, honestly, since most books with this kind of plot would be preemptively marked as dnf, but she made me interested in how it all worked out. Dang it, Molly Lee! I will definitely read her next book. With regards to this one, however, I would only recommend this to someone who loves an H who is a jerkface or who loves an H who leaves because the h "deserves better" than him.
What I liked:

I have a new author to love on, y'all. Her name is Molly E. Lee. After I enjoying Edge of Chaos as much as I did, I decided what the hell, why not dive immediately into the second book. So, that's precisely what I did. Now, I've never watched Indiana Jones (I know, I know, sheesh) but I'd like to think it's exactly like this. (And if it is, I might have to watch it... soon.)
Easton and Rain were such an easy couple to get behind. Their history was sad, but I hoped for a better future for them. Easton bailed on Rain when she needed him most, after the death of her father, which sounds like a pretty douchebag move, but his reasons were solid. Guilt does funny things to a person. Now as his career is at a crossroads, he's back asking for her help on the adventure of a lifetime. It was easy to see their feelings for each other hadn't faded during their separation. And thankfully it didn't take all that long for them to indulge in each other during their trip. (SO HOT!) The secrets of their past had a way of coming out as they searched for relics in the caves of Israel. I was confident they would complete their mission AND find their way back to each other.
The first book in this series had me on edge a couple times, but it was nothing compared to what this one did. Holy cow, it was intense. Whether they were traversing dangerous terrain or fleeing from people with guns, I was wide-eyed and my heart was pounding. I'm not exaggerating either. I was completely wrapped up in every single thing about Easton and Rain's story, so it was easy to feel like I was right there with them during their adventures. And those adventures? They made me a nervous wreck.
I love books with unique settings and characters with unusual jobs. I also adore second chance romances. East of Redemption gave me all that and it was super hot and sexy, too. This was another of those read in one sitting kind of books. I'm beginning to suspect that's the norm with Molly's books. We'll find out soon when I start the third. :) I'm totally hooked.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat from the very first word. I was packed full of action, intrigue, mystery, love, steamy moments and so much fun to read.
My Thoughts
I'm going to keep this a short and spoiler free as I can, because this is one of those books that you have to experience for yourself in order to really get it. This book has such depth, emotion and heart stopping adventure, that you almost forget you are reading a romance novel. (Yes, there are some steamy scenes) It's this total immersion in the world that draws me to Molly E. Lee's books. She has this uncanny way of combining all these elements into an all engrossing story that makes you forget everything other than the story unfolding on the pages.
The first page will have you hooked, but by the end you will be in love with this world, these characters, and the hunt for treasure. I knew going in that it had an Indiana Jones vibe, and I was not disappointed. It's full of adventure, humor, a perilous journey, survival skills, and a second chance with your first love. It is a very fast-paced read that will keep you turning the pages and keep you on the edge of your seat to see what's going to happen next with Easton and Rain. I highly recommend the Love on the Edge series for anyone that's looking for a different kind romance that stands head and shoulders above the others.

East of Redemption was a fun read. A second chance romance with an Indiana Jones type as our hero and the girl he left behind.
Easton is a treasure hunter that is plagued by the guilt of his friends’ death. He has left those he cared about behind and made a name for himself hunting treasure in front of the TV cameras. When the producers threaten to end his show due to lack of interest he reaches out to his lost love.
Rain has made a name for herself filming endangered animals. She is trying to move on from the loss of her father and the boy she once loved. When Easton asks her to film his latest expedition she wants to back out. But it is in the same cave that took her father, so she agrees to go. Rain wants to walk the path her father took and try to understand.
It’s not long before old feelings surface but Easton is still loaded down with guilt and Rain is frustrated by being left in the dark. The expedition that Rain and Easton go on in this story was really well written. The imagery was well done so you felt like you were there. I really liked Rain and Easton; they had good chemistry. I think the author did a great job of bringing her characters to life. I could really feel Easton’s guilt and the pain that Rain carried around. I would definitely read another book by this author. Good Job!

Easton Wells had everything planned out for his life, but during the one momentum dig with his superior and father of the girl he loves. One slip changes everything. Years go by for Easton but he never been able to forgive himself for that one night.
Rain Walker is a photographer/film documentary on the rise, but she been living with a broken heart for many years. Now with Easton walking about into her life asking for her help, however can she risk it?
These two lovers perils as they go deep into a cave where it took one life that meant the most to both Rain and Easton. While these two are prepared to face the dangers, they aren't prepare to face their hearts.

East of Redemption is the first book of Molly that I've read and I really liked it. It was like a journey, a trip through the eyes of a movie of Indiana Jones. Rain and Easton come together for a trip after nine years of not seeing each other. In the past they were a couple but for some reason Easton turn his back to here. Easton want to tell the truth why he walked away from Rain, but he's afraid that she don't want him anymore after the truth. The perfect recipe for Molly's treasure hunting romance. Set in the caves of Israel, Rain and Easton only have a finite time to find treasure and save Easton's career. His career might not be the only thing on the line though... On top of that, they have to fight their attraction to each other and stay safe from those who would do anything to beat them to the discovery. There is so much emotional angst mixed in with all of the action, Molly blends the two perfectly. Every book she writes is even better than the last. I can't wait to see what's next!

Rain and Easton fell in love when they were both 16. And then tragedy struck and changed there life. Fast forward to 9 years later Easton needs Rain help on adventure he took with her father. Secrets will be exposed and so much more. The love these two have can be seen from the start and I was happy with how everything came together. I just couldn't get enough of them. So much love and happiness and everything in between. I couldn't put this book down.

Molly does it again!! Man did I love Easton and Rain in this one!! A second chance romance paired with an Indiana Jones themed adventure! Rain and her fearlessness and Easton with his knowledge of the caves in Israel! I couldn't put it down!! The Love on the Edge Series is unlike a romance series I've ever read. It makes me long for the adventures that are missing from my life!! 5+ stars Molly!!
