I really enjoyed this! I loved all the characters, and the romance was really sweet. Dani is a wolf shifter, who had to leave her pack because her parents promised her to the pack Alpha's son; despite Dani's protests, even when her parents die in a car accident, the promise is still in effect, and Dani knows she needs to runaway because the Alpha and his son are ruthless, horrible people, so she runs away when she turns 18. Dani has had to keep moving places, so she isn't found and forced back, but when she receives a call from her best friend, Hope, that Hope's mom is sick, Dani decides to return home to be there for Hope and her family. By the way, I love that Hope wasn't your typical boy crazy, bimbo best friend that is usually in books, it is so refreshing to have a friend that is great just like the heroine, and I would be happy to have a book with Hope finding her person. While Dani has been away, Ace stepped up and challenged the previous Alpha for control of the pack and won, so now he is the new Alpha, and he is also ready to claim Dani as his mate, but there may be some bumps in the road, when animals with their throats slashed begin to turn up near pack territory. I love that Asa and Dani don't play games, and I love how devoted Asa is to Dani. They are so sweet together, and they are hot together. Dani is a strong female, and Asa is perfectly Alpha with a softer side. Loved them both! I liked the added suspense with finding out who is killing the animals. Definitely checking out more from Ariel Marie, and hopefully more books with these characters! Short shifter sweetness!

Short enjoyable read with likeable characters.
The blurb says it all but I found this to be an engaging short read with likeable characters, apart from the idiots.
Hope there will be more books from this world as there was some characters that I would like to read more about.

A quick shifter romance read. I enjoyed a fast read for my lunch time. The best part of the story is how strong Dani is. She may be on the short side but that doesn't stop her. And the devotion she has to the family she considers her own is wonderful.
Highly recommend to any adult readers that like shifter romances.

Dani ran away from her pack when she graduated, she ran away from the wolf she didn't want to marry. When she gets bad news years later, she has to return, nervous and hoping she can stay under the radar, but when she finds out there is a new alpha, and her reason for running is no more, will she decide to stay with her pack, her family?

This was a cute short story that kept me entertained; with some sexy times, and a bit violence that rounds out a nice shifter story. I give this 4 stars.

wow this book was amazing! its about a wolf shifter who knows his mate is close and goes after her. she on the other hand has come back to the town because one of her friends mother is sick! this book rocked! thanks for giving me a chance to read this book!

Good short read. Loved everything, story line and characters. But I did wantd Dani to play hard to get with Ace a little bit. You know cat and mouse.

Dani's Return by Ariel Marie is a paranormal romance suspense novella. It features wolf shifters. I really wish this had been a full length book! I so wanted more book!! It was short and the storyline was so good, all the characters were fantastic. Everything just made this a great read!!
For me, this has everything that a shifter romance needs in it… hot, sexy animalistic sexy time with some violence tossed in. It made it so this book was read in record time… I just devoured it! What I loved the most is Ariel didn’t waste any time. She dived right into her story without the fluff that surrounds so many stories. She didn’t fill it with back story, even though Dani and Ace had one.
I love a book that makes you feel the family love and you get that here. You get the sweet romance. But it was the suspense tossed in here or there that kept me captured. There was no playing games or fighting their attraction. I liked that.
I don’t read shifter romances too often but I always know I’m going to enjoy Ariel’s books. She will not disappoint you! This book could have been 200 pages longer and I’m pretty sure I would have still devoured it. It was just great!!

This delicious morsel of a shifter book will have your pulse racing. I love wolf shifter books they are my favourite and this one didn't disappoint. Dani's return is packed full of suspense, drama romance and it is hot too. It has everything you could want.
After running from her pack Dani has finally settled in one place always looking over her shoulder but feeling a sense of security for the first time in a few year. Even though she swears she will never go back she receives some bad news and decides there and then that she will go back even though she doesn't want to family comes first.
Ace has loved Dani from the very first moment he saw her at the shifter ceremony when she was 13 and he knew instantly that she was his fated mate but he couldn't act on it as she was promised to the alphas son. Fast forward a few years and Ace is now alpha after challenging the alpha and winning and because of this he takes over the pack being the true alpha plus it means Dani can come home.
The pair have a sizzling chemistry and there is an element of insta love there well for Dani there is. There is plenty of action, a kidnapping, the usual shifter violence and plenty of romance to keep you interested in keeping reading till the end and it is short enough to read in one sitting too.

Dani left 10 years ago to avoid an arranged mating to the cruel Alpha's son Junior. Years later Junior challenged his father and killed him and became the Alpha. Always seemed to keep tabs on Dani. Dani's come back to be with her best friend Hope and her family. Hope's Mom is sick and Dani drops everything to be there. They are the family who took her in when her parents died. Dani quickly realizes things have changed and for the better. The new Alpha challenged Junior and ended the terror. However, when Dani runs into Ace, the new Alpha things are intense! Dani is drawn to him like no other. Ace knew when Dani shifted at 13 years old she was his mate. He was older so he knew he couldnt touch her. Not only that she was arranged to be mated. He wasnt strong enough and would be killed if he tried. Years later he harbors a love for Dani and will be claiming her! Both characters were sweet and I enjoyed reading them. Ace has such a big heart and easy on the eyes. Treats Dani like a Queen. Not to mention a great Alpha to his pack. Trying to put things right and become a stronger pack. I hope she does more and perhaps considers turning this into a series? :) I really enjoyed the secondary characters. His pack beta Brett and of course Dani's human bff Hope. I would enjoy more.

My kind of read even if short. Wolves are my favorite animal and my favorite shifter. Ariel pulled me in and I didn't stop until my eyes closed but I picked up again when they opened. Pack law is that when you are betrothed to another when of age you cannot change the outcome even if said parents die. Dani ran away instead and never looked back. Ace knew from the moment he saw her in her shifted form that she was his mate but he was much older and of Alpha mind, so to save him and her he left. Years later Ace is back and taking over but he needs Dani by his side so next is to find her. Troubling news brings Dani home and Ace is elated when he smells her. That's all you get from me. I loved this short story that is packed with love and heat. I hope Ariel adds more to this one cause I want more. Alternating characters is my favorite style of writing and Ariel knocked it out on this one. Smooth and gliding is how she writes and grabbing the reader is what makes her a good writer. A must read if you love shifters and a quick read.

Great short novel. Loved the true and pure-ness that radiates from Ace. He was a true alpha who cared for the well-being of the pack and loved Dani. The two of them would do anything for one another. Loved this story. It has the right amount of angst and steamy scenes to draw you in and keep you hooked until the end.

I really enjoyed this quick read about Dan I, a wolf shifter that has been living away from her pack coming home to help a woman she loves like a mom deal with cancer. When she returns, she finds things changed in the pack....for the better. Can Dani's return be a permanent one?

Dani had to return to her former pack, not at the best circumstances but there was a surprise for her. At last, Ace had his mate back, but still, there was danger for both them. Good characters, action, suspense, heated passion and violence. Interesting and entertaining short story.

Dani's Return by Ariel Marie is a paranormal romance suspense novella, featuring wolf shifters and a HEA.
I really enjoyed this book. This is a short read but has a great storyline, some intriguing characters and sexual tension you could cut with a knife. I loved the main characters and the secondary characters went a long way to set up the story.
Ariels take on the shifter and pack mentality is engaging and I was engrossed from the first page to the last. It had a suspenseful undertone with some really well integrated family themes and steamy, sweet Romance thrown in.
I think a lot of thought went into creating this world and its characters and I would have loved to have seen this as a full length novel and I hope we get to visit with the Blood Moon pack again.

Oh wow i loved this book, it is a shorter book but it doesn't feel that way as it is so full of imagination and information, from the description of the people and the surrounding areas to feeling the characters emotions along with them as they go through it.
I loved this storyline, to me it represents hope, showing that no matter what horrible things a person has gone through there is always hope of love, safety and joy. It really touched me this story, my inner romantic...I couldnt stop reading this book once i had started it, it is a compulsive page turner that draws you into a world filled with shifters.
Dani captured my attention from the first word, she is such a brave woman with strength pouring out of her, she does things to make her feel safe but when it comes to people that she cares about needing her she will drop everything and put herself in danger just to help. Ace is a definite addictive character, probably the most alpha male that i have read about, he is all man and when he sees what he wants he will do everything to get it. He is an extremely good man with a serious protective streak for those he cares about and those he sees as his responsibility.
I did really love this book and i would definitely recommend this book to others, i would love to read more in this world!!!
