Breed warrior Trygg
Special ability: Gen One Hunter, so he has a number of abilities. His personal ability is a special connection to technological devices.
Age: I suppose around 35 years old. He was fourteen when Dragos died and Trygg was freed. If I remember correctly that happened about 20 years ago.

Atlantean Elder Tamisia or Sia
Special ability: Very strong, Powerful atlantean light from her palms. Unfortunately, she does not carry powerful accessories (bracelet) because she was banished from the colony.
Age: Immortal. Centuries of existence.

I always feel nice, when I go back to the Midnight Breed world. I am even happier when I visit Lazaro’s team in Rome. Maybe because I love Italy so much!

This time we will experience the love story between a scarred Breed warrior who does not want to get attached and an Atlantean Beauty who does not really like Breeds.

These two won’t have the best start:

“Don’t push me, Sia.”
She shook her head. “I think a push is exactly what you need.”

It is a good thing that Sia is a few centuries older than Trygg and she is not afraid to push:

“I’ve been taking care of myself for longer than you’ve been alive. In case you’ve forgotten, warrior, I’m immortal.

So, yes these two will have an excellent ending:

Her love was a light that glowed inside her, filling his own heart with an unearthly, extraordinary warmth.

In terms of the main Breeds story, don’t expect much. The author does not really move it forward. I expect this to happen in “Claimed in Shadows” which is the next full length book and it is Aric Chase’s story.

For now, this book states that Red Dragon is still out there and that Atlanteans are still the best kept secret.
Nevertheless, I truly enjoyed the romantic love story between Trygg and Sia. A lot!

Right now, she was a distraction he could not afford.

After trusting the wrong man leads to the gruesome death of her friend, Tamisia 'Sia' finds herself banned from her beloved Atlantean colony and thrown into the unfamiliar human world. Soon the powerful female finds herself in a war between a deadly enemy and the Breed warriors.

Soon Sia finds herself captivated by a Breed warrior that seems to want nothing to do with her. With the Breeds being a long time enemy, being attracted to one of their kind is certainly not what she expects. But as they're thrown together in a hunt for a mutual enemy, the heat between them is undeniable.
Don’t push me, Sia.” She shook her head. “I think a push is exactly what you need.” Without warning, she took his mouth in a hard, hot kiss.

I loved that Sia was the aggressor and went after what she went. Trygg put up a valiant effort to deny the chemistry between them, but ultimately a connection like theirs proves to be too much.

This was a quick paced, sexy read based in Adrian's Midnight Breed world. I highly enjoyed the back and worth between Trygg and Sia and the action that flowed harmoniously with the romance. The ending did feel a bit rushed and I was disappointed to see the resolution happen off the pages. Midnight Unleashed was still a satisfying read from what's one of my favorite PNR series.

It amazes me that Lara Adrian can write a novella and still create an amazing book worth reading... novellas are sometimes short, rushed and used as a gap filler, which is obviously what they should be... but Ms Adrian concludes her shorts with a satisfaction that I enjoy every time!

I love returning to this world. With this newest installment in the series, Adrian jumps straight into the action and the danger with an Atlantean and a first Gen Hunter. MIDNIGHT UNLEASHED definitely packs a punch even if it’s a novella.

I really liked the fact that this world continues to grow even in its novellas. Santino is back, trying to regain what he lost, so that’s the biggest threat that the hero and heroine encounter in this story.

This book has a strong BDB feel to it so if you’re a fan of that series then you may like this series too. Sia kind of reminds me of Marissa, which is probably why I enjoyed her character so much. She’d kind and warm, but still badass as well. I love these kinds of heroines because they really do act as a good role model for readers. It was fun to read about her trials as an Atlantean; it added more depth to her story.

Trigg is equally entertaining. I loved how manly and heroic he was, but he doesn’t overstep Sia in anyway either. You can tell that he respects her and that’s a good ground for their romance to bloom from. So all in all, it was really fun to read this story. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

What do you get when you mix an Atlantean with a Science experiment? Well, in this case, something really explosive. Our heroine was tossed out of her job and her Atlantean home into the real world. There she takes up her time trying to redeem herself. Meanwhile our hero is a loner. His time in the evil labs and being trained as a killer has made him slightly unsociable.
An excellent novella with lots of excitement and characters we met in earlier stories.

It’s been a while since I have visited the Midnight Breed series and I am so happy that I get to review this wonderful Novella from Lara Adrian and 1001 Dark Nights. I missed the Breeds and was thrilled that Midnight Unleashed brought a happily-ever-after to one of the enslaved Breed’s. Trygg and Tamisia’s story was thrilling and exciting and a wonderful welcome back to the Breed.

Trygg is a killer, through and through. Welcomed into the Rome Breeds, he knows his place, he knows his missions and he knows that someone as beautiful as Tamisia wouldn’t give him a second glance. He couldn’t help but notice her, admire her while she was staying at the Breed House. But, why would an angel like Tamisia want with a devil like him?

Sia wants nothing more than to be back in Atlantis. She’s found a place in Rome where she is needed and loves what she does. But, her heart is in Atlantis. Until something happens at the shelter and the brooding Trygg enters her life once again. Now, there is nothing that she won’t do to stop the violence and help the one Breed that intrigued her the most when she came to Rome.

Forced to work together, Trygg’s protective instincts come to the fore-front, even though Sia doesn’t need his protection. And, Sia’s temper has never been tested this much. Neither has her want for another man. A Breed … the enemy of Atlantis … has stolen her heart and now she’ll do whatever it takes to keep him safe … even give up her dreams of returning to Atlantis.

I enjoy reading novella’s. They get to the point and the flow of the story is always fast and furious. Lara Adrian, even with this being a novella, let us get to know both Trygg and Sia, understand what they were thinking and why. She wrote a compelling story about two very different people, their wants and needs and brought them together in an amazing climax that ensured they would never leave each other’s sides. It’s amazing how Lara Adrian can give us intense romantic suspense, realistic characters and a love story in such a short book.

Six weeks ago, Tamisia (Sia) was banished from the Atlantean colony where she helped rule as council member; trusting the wrong man earned her a lifetime on Earth. Now she finds meaning in helping run a shelter for women and children in Rome, with fellow Atlantean Pheaedra. But when a deadly Breed Order operation causes the death of one under her care, Sia decides to take action.

Trygg, a dangers Gen One Hunter assassin who prefers to work solo, is obsessed with bring down the human responsible for distributing the deadly Red Dragon drug. When his mission crosses paths with the beautiful Sia, his emotions start getting in the way of his job. As much as he tries to avoid her, Trygg seems destined to tangle with the Atlantean.

Sia, who was introduced in Defy the Dawn (Midnight Breed #14), put her love and trust in Elyon, who was a traitor and still loyal to the evil Atlantean Queen. This resulted in the deaths of two Atlanteans and the colony was quick to blame Sia, banishing her and placing her under the protection of the Breed leader, Lazlo. Trygg also has trust issues, first from his youth as a Hunter under Dragos, and then when he was used by another who he thought loved him. This makes a relationship difficult to say the least - with two people both weary of the world and unable to trust one another. Yet, they cannot fight attraction and their mutual backgrounds seem to draw them closer rather than push them apart.

Midnight Unleashed is another good Midnight Breed novella that carries the same basic romantic premise as so many before it. It starts with a main couple who can’t stand one another. He’s rough and alpha, she’s tough yet feminine and tender. They are attracted but don’t like that they are. And then, in a matter of days, all hesitation melts away and they just know they are meant to be.

“It was as if she’d been waiting for this all her long life. Waiting for this man to awaken her and make her feel truly alive.”

They are in love - the kind that will last an eternity. If you are good with the basic premise than I highly recommend Midnight Unleashed, and the series in general.

The bottom line is that I liked Sia. I liked Trygg. I think I would have enjoyed their story more had it been longer; more fleshed out. They had sex once and spent like less than three days together, and they are in love. My issue is a personal taste one, and that is I just can’t get into the quick to love stories anymore. It’s not that they are even some pre-destined pair. They just fall head over heels immediately, and know they will spend an immortal life together. Forever. I don’t fault the author; it’s actually well done, albeit short. I found the hunt for the bad guy an interesting story, but was a bit disappointed with the conclusion. Note: while this story is listed as book #15.5, book #15: Claimed in Shadows, has not yet been released.

In the end, I enjoyed reading Midnight Unleashed, but on a personal note, I have hit my max on the “quick to fall in love” stories. A novella is a short space, and trying to create a forever relationship in such a short time can be challenging. Ms. Adrian continues to move the entire Midnight Breed series forward, and I look forward to the next full-length romance.

My Rating: B- Liked It, but I had a few small issues

The Warrior and the Ice Princess

4 stars

Another spin off novella to the Midnight Breed series, this story takes us back to Rome, and Lazaro Archer’s team of deadly Breed warriors.

Tamisia is an ancient immortal. An Atlantean who was introduced in Defy the Dawn before being banished for life from her home colony for associating with a traitor. Devastated and ashamed, she has fled to Rome where, after spending a brief amount of time with the Order, she has begun working in a shelter and has found contentment helping others. Though she still longs for something more.

Trygg is a brutal soldier of the Order. A former Hunter, he is one of Dragos’ deadly creations and his past has left him scarred inside and out. He is on a mission to hunt down a major distributor of Red Dragon – a drug manufactured specifically to effect the Breed – when his investigation leads him right to Tamisia when a woman living in her shelter is killed.

Both of them desperate for answers, their common goal brings them together despite Trygg’s intentions to the contrary, and the woman he thought of as an ice princess surprises him with her determination to help and her emotional vulnerability. And he soon finds his own walls starting to crumble.

“I have to do something purposeful with this new life – for myself as much as I want to show my people that I’m not the awful person they believe me to be. I need to prove that I have honor, that I’m worth something.”
“You don’t have to prove a damn thing to anyone, Sia. You are all of those things already.”

I really enjoyed the dynamic between these two. Trygg is a complete badass who has been through hell, and he is determined not to become involved with anybody, but neither of them can deny their attraction, and when strong and brave Sia puts herself right out there for him, neither of them can resist.

“Don’t push me, Sia.”
She shook her head. “I think a push is exactly what you need.”

As a novella, this is a really fast-moving story, and that includes the love story. But I still felt the chemistry and build-up between Trygg and Sia. The sexy time is seriously hot and their physical connection is unlike anything either of them have experienced before, and it’s balanced with a developing emotional bond that is sweet and heartfelt.

But Trygg’s barriers are firmly in place, and he is not ready to let them go completely. Sia is also missing her colony and is searching for a way back. And the case that they are investigating leads to all sorts of danger and intrigue. There is a lot they’ll need to get through to figure out where they stand and what it is they truly want.

This is a great read. It’s short, but there’s a lot happening, and as always Lara Adrian has balanced it all beautifully to create an exciting, sexy, heartfelt romance that I thoroughly enjoyed. While not a part of the overarching storyline of the main series, this novella fits into the Midnight Breed world beautifully, and I enjoyed the chance to catch up with characters we’ve seen previously, and it’s a must-read for fans of the series who, like me, are desperate for any part of this world we can get.

I loved it - 4 stars.

So I've had mixed results with the novellas in this series and unfortunately MIDNIGHT UNLEASHED is probably my least favorite of them all. This one just didn't work for me because I really wasn't on board with how the romance played out.

Sia was a cool heroine and I loved that she could kick butt and take care of herself. She’s not a natural fighter but her Atlantean strength and abilities give her an advantage when fighting humans and even the Breed. But Trygg never worked for me as a hero; he’s way too possessive but also emotionally unavailable for Sia. Now his past definitely makes this understandable but it doesn't excuse his actions. He pretty thoroughly pushes Sia away after they sleep together but then turns around the next night and turns into a complete caveman, ruining the mission Sia was helping with and even killing an (assumed) innocent JUSTICE agent. Atlantans and Breed have been enemies for a long time so Sia has always believed that the Breed are just violent killing machines and quite frankly Trygg doesn't do anything in this book to disprove that notion.

When Trygg finally opens up to Sia about his past, it’s horribly traumatic and includes Trygg as a teenager being used for sex by an older woman who pimps him out to grown men and women. So why after sharing all of that would Sia try to “comfort” him by asking for sex, one last time, before she returns to her people?? Basically making him feel used only for his body just like before.

I also really didn't like that the only LGBTQ character (good or bad) that has ever been mentioned in a series of over 20 books is a gay drug lord who preys on young boys.

Content Warning: Trygg was forced into prostitution as a teenager after escaping the Hunter program where he was forced to be an assassin.

The "Midnight Breed" used to be my all times favorite PNR series though lately its place have been taken. Yet I still get excited when I hear there's a new novel in the series, even though it's just a short novella which doesn't feature most of the known characters in the series. These novellas are a nice way for people to try this series and see if it works for them, because it doesn't reveal too much and allows people who don't know any of things that happen in the 10+ books to enjoy a short novella and also be tempted to grab the first one and immerse themselves in the Midnight Breed world.

We've already met both MCs in the previous installments. Tamisia "Sia" in "Defy the Dawn". She is an Atlantian and she is banished from the colony after her actions cost another Atlantian's life. She is struggling to make a home in the human world, now working in a women's shelter with another Atlantian who chose the life on the human world. Trygg was introduced to us in another novella - "Midnight Unbound". He helped the two MCs there in a time of danger. He used to be a Hunter, raised and controlled by the crazy Dragos. He was set free when he was 14 years old only to find himself in another sort of enslavement. Once he realized that he escaped with a reminder to keep his trust close to him. Now he is working for the Order in Italy.

Sia and Trygg are an unlikely couple. Trygg works best on his own and Sia though VERY capable is still clueless to the dangers that the Order are already well aware of - a man named Santino is manufacturing and distributing "Red Dragon", a drug that can make any Breed male into a killer. That's the mission Trygg is on when he stumbles upon Sia in the women's shelter. Sia's bravery speaks to Trygg yet he will not allow her to enter his world and use her charm to disarm his well laid walls. Sia is surprised with how she reacts to Trygg, they are kind of enemies by breed.. and yet she is drawn to him and she can't help herself. Though Trygg does find himself succumbing to her, he pushes her right away. When Sia offers to help the Order he finds himself working with her if he likes it or not and sooner or rather LATER he realizes he truly wants her by his side.

This short novella felt a bit superficial to me. Trygg and Sia's attraction was somewhat OTT as it is with most of these PNR books which though I'm a bit weary of, I also accept as a part of the paranormal theme. Yet their love was too quick to my liking. Even if they WERE impressed with one another, it's takes more time for deeper feelings. The story about the drugs was a bit strange. I'm not sure what I think of it truth be told. It was a part of the story and yet it wasn't and it ended quite abruptly maybe to be revisited again in the next full length novel?

I like this series, I enjoy the world Lara has build for us, and yet I feel I"m a bit tired of these short novellas. It's a nice glimpse and reminder of the series, but I enjoy FAR more the full length novels in which we get a FULL story with romance and action packed together as well as characters I've loved and missed from the previous books.

I love the Midnight Breed series, I've been reading these books for so many years that getting a new instalment is always like going to visit with old friends, there's just something comforting about diving back into a world I'm so familiar with! I've really been enjoying these novellas surrounding the Order's Italian team so I was really pleased to finally get my hands on Trigg's story.

Trigg is one of the First Gen Hunters born and raised in Dragos' labs, he was trained from childhood to be a ruthless killer and to follow orders without question. The order saved him when they managed to release all of the Hunters when Trigg was just fourteen years old but that wasn't the end of his tortured past, I'm not going to say any more than that but you'll find out more about his tragic backstory in the novella. When Trigg was finally able to choose his own path he joined the Order willingly and he's spent years protecting both humans and breed alike from anyone who is trying to cause discord between the two races.

Sia is a full blooded Atlantean who was exiled from her home due to a tragic series of circumstances, she never meant to hurt her friends and family but putting her trust in the wrong person got someone she cared about killed and she hasn't been able to forgive herself for that. She can't make amends on Atlantis so she's focused all her energies on helping human women and children at a refuge and she's slowly building a new life for herself. Sia's paths cross with Trigg when a woman under her care is murdered by a member of the breed, Sia is determined to find out why the woman was killed and it looks like Trigg is the only one who might have the answers she needs.

This is a novella so you have to go in expecting the romance to happen quite quickly but I think Lara Adrian does a great job of bringing these two characters together in a believable way. They both have darkness in their pasts and that puts a few obstacles in their way but their romance is quite a sweet one once they both give into what they are feeling for each other. There is plenty of action in here too so I flew through this story, we catch glimpses of a few other members of the Italian branch of the Order which is always nice but I'm really looking forward to getting back to Boston in the next full length novel too. Another great instalment to one of my favourite series!

Seriously now I want to drop every other book I have waiting for me to review and read the entire (no worries everyone I won’t but the struggle is really real). Midnight Unleashed is the perfect addition to this series and hell if I am to be completely honest I want more, more, more! Trust me this novella was not lacking in action, sexiness or any of the other qualities we can come to know and love in the series, can you say hot sexy alpha vampire with sassy female to put them in their place? Lately there have been a lot of series that I fell in love with a long time ago that have been releasing more books and are making me want to slow down and revisit them, this I do plan on doing when I can.

Trygg, my oh my, he is the one you should run from instead of running arms open into. He can be an ass, he can, well he can be a typical alpha male Breed that at times you want to strangle but he at the same time can melt your panties off because he is just that hot. Sia was strong, she wasn’t going to let Trygg get away with some of the stuff he pulls, at one point I really thought she may blast him, both figuratively and literally, read the book you will understand.

Midnight Unleashed will make you want to revisit the series and fall in love with the books all over again. This is a must read for any fans of this series and Lara Adrian you still have a fan in this book whore and that won’t be changing any time soon! I can’t wait for the next book!

This is a smart and suspenseful addition to the Midnight Breed series and another solid addition to the 1001 Dark Nights. As a follower of the Midnight Breed series I very much enjoy these little additions. While they add to the overall story and the hunt to eliminate the powerful drug they kind of stand-alone within the series. I do feel like you need to be familiar with the series to get the back story and an understanding of who the players are.

Starting off right in the thick of things; Gen One warrior, Trygg, is tracking down the newest supplier of the drug that turns the Breed into something beyond crazed. His hunt leads him right to the doorsteps of the icy Tamisia. Thrown together by not-so-great circumstances these two try to get to bottom of what is going on, not only with the Order's newest mark but also their feelings.

As with most novellas there is a lot of story packed into not a lot pages. There is action and bloodshed, chemistry and backstory. There is really no down time and it wasn't just quick because the small number of pages but I felt like I flew through the story because there was something keeping me interested until the end. I did enjoy getting to visit a series that I have been following for some time and it made me yearn for more of them.

Midnight Unleashed (Midnight Breed #14.7) by Lara Adrian Lara Adrian’s MIDNIGHT UNLEASED is an excellent addition to the Midnight Breed series.  Breed Gen One vampire Trygg is partnered with Atlantean Tamisia (Sia) on a mission to stop the dealing of Red Dragon.  This PNR is suitable for adult audiences.  It takes place in Rome.

Lara Adrian continues to do a wonderful job with her character development.  Sia and Trygg have both gone through a lot in their lives. They are both very different, and they seem like an unlikely match.  I like that Sia really understood Trygg. She sees more than the former Hunter.  Sia is not the type to back down and Trygg is stubborn; it made for some interesting confrontations.  I appreciated their chemistry and banter.

I enjoyed the plot.  It was clever how the characters end up working together.  The story was exciting with interesting twists.  I like that incidences from previous books in the series had relevance in this story.  I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

I love that the 1001 Dark Nights series novellas offer relatively risk-free ways to both enjoy favorite authors and series and find new ones. How is it I've never read any of Lara Adrian's Midnight Breed books before? I honestly have no idea, but now that I have, I must read more of them!

I loved both Sia and Trygg (just don't ask me to say his name out loud, please!) and being immersed in their world was a fun, heady ride. We weren't bogged down with the nitty-gritty details of how everything worked there, but learned just enough to understand the challenges they were dealing with and the things that made them what they are. Once the external threats were dealt with, their relationship problems were resolved a bit quickly, but since it was really up to one of them to just not be a jerk about what had happened and give in gracefully, it made sense that that was what they decided to do. Obviously, they belonged together, so why fight it? ;)

I'll definitely be coming back for more from this world--soon!

“I can’t think of anyone I’d rather have at my side, Sia. In the Order, and in life."

In the continuation of the series, the Order is still neck deep on a mission stopping the production of a drugs for Breeds only called Red Dragon. It's predeccesor, the Crimson, also a drug, happened twenty years ago.

Trygg was tasked to tail two of the goons that manufacture the said drugs. Unfortunately, something happened that change and fcked up all of his mission.

"Right now, she was a distraction he could not afford."

And hence the back and forth, push and pull dance.

Overall, I enjoyed this one. Not bad added installment to the series. But I want the stories of other especially Aric's.

I always enjoy the books in this series; some more than others. With this one, I didn't feel the connection between the characters as much as I would like. Actually, I didn't really connect with the characters either. I didn't really care for Tamisia before this book, so I was hoping she would be redeemed in this book, but she didn't quite get there for me. She was okay, but still needed more development. There are some steamy moments between Tamisia and Trygg, and I always enjoy the bits of action in these stories. Overall, the read is entertaining and I will continue with the series. I really love a lot of the books, so I'd recommend this series. I listened on Audible, and enjoyed the narration. The narrator did a good job.

I really enjoy these quick novellas from the Midnight Breed that take us into other parts of the country and include characters a little less known to us. It really helps see the scope of the Order.

Tamisia is an Atlantean who has been banished from her realm for crimes that were really just crimes of falling for the wrong guys. It was a pretty clear banishment, with little hope of ever getting back. Now she must settle into a life on earth. She gets into a routine, that is blown out of the water when an attack on the house she is staying brings in the Breed male Trygg. Now there is an adventure to be had, and Sia is up for getting involved in that. I really think she was SO much more capable than Trygg made her out to be, and in some ways he downright pissed me off in letting his possessiveness take over. Their mission could have rolled so much more smoothly if he was able to keep a lid on himself. I know it is hard for the Breed when they find their mate, but they hadn't even swapped blood, and he still pulled stupid stunts. In a way, I may have thought his actions were a touch romantic, but in other ways they seemed to make Sia feel like she was incapable of defending herself. Normally that led to even more stress between the two.

Midnight Unleashed was a nice sidebar to the major issues the Order faces. Tamisia and Trygg were good together, once they (Trygg) allowed that to happen. It was a fun ride as I learned more about these characters and hope to see more of them in upcoming books.

Midnight Unleashed Excerpt

While he’d sure as hell rather be surrounded by his tech equipment at the command center, Trygg couldn’t find much to object to as he followed Sia up an exterior staircase to a private third-floor entrance of the house. As irritated as he was after her power play in the car just now—not to mention her earlier act of defiance that had rattled him more than he cared to admit, even to himself—it was hard to think about much else except the rhythmic sway of her hips as she mounted the old iron steps.

Very hard.

Her long, elegant spine and firm backside were a temptation that stoked a growing heat inside him as he stalked up the climb behind her. Everything male in him burned with desire. Everything Breed in him hungered for her too. If she chanced a look over her shoulder, it would be damn close to impossible to hide the amber lighting his irises or the press of his sharp fangs as they filled his mouth.

Letting her win just now was a mistake he already regretted, but that’s where her control was going to end. He’d go inside as she insisted and they’d do a cursory look through the rest of the items they’d brought with them. He would point out something or other so she’d have a bone to chew on, then he’d take everything back to the command center and dig into the meat of the scant evidence alone.
The way he preferred to operate.

He scowled at her when they reached the top of the stairs. “Is this the way you sneak in all the men you bring home with you?”

“Only the surly ones.” Her blonde brow arched over her long-lashed eyes. “And to answer the question you really want to ask, I’ve never brought anyone up here before.”

He didn’t want to ask that, so why did her answer give him such a healthy stab of satisfaction?

Before reading this book Trygg was one of the fav breeds. I had looked forward to his book. But it was a little of a let down for me. One of the reasons I liked him was that he was a scared hero and was a bit surly to everyone. But Sia just brought the whole book down. Don't get me wrong I still love the series and can't wait to read more of the book. I was just expected more out of Trygg's mate/happily ever after.

I didn't really like Melana and Bella in this book to me they just seem like gossipers, and mean girls.

Honestly this may end up being my Favorite

Wow Midnight Unleashed could end up being my favorite so far. I totally love Trygg badass Gen One Hunter. Seriously. I knew once he saw Sia he was going to be a goner just like his buddy Scythe when he laid eyes on Chiara. Sia is one tough Atlantean Female and can definitely take care of herself. When Trygg was caught in a set up/trap Sia is the one who rescues the man she loves. This was really a great read. If nothing else you have to read their story. But honestly you should grab the entire Midnight Breed series you won't be disappointed

This novella was a good addition to the series. I was a bit confused at first because I still haven't read Defy the Dawn (Midnight Breed, #14) by Lara Adrian and the h must have been introduced in that book. Lara Adrian does a good job of bringing her readers up to date without spilling all the details. I like Trygg and Tamisia. They made a good couple.

Midnight Unleashed is a Midnight Breed Novella.
Midnight Unleashed by the incredible talented author Lara Adrian is part of the 1001 Dark Nights Series.
This Vampire Romance PNR story will suck you into the Dark World of 1001 Nights.
This is Tamisia and Trygg´s story.
The Atlantean Tamisia was banished from the Atlantean Colony and now she lives in the mortal world.
The Gen One Warrior and Hunter of the Order, Trygg is there to investigate their enemy.
Together they hunt a narcotic kingpin. What makes things difficult is the crazy chemistry between the two.
Midnight Unleashed is extremely well written, beautifully thought out and beautifully told. I love the characters and the story so much.
I love how they fight, against enemies and their own feelings, and I love their beautiful and well desreved HEA.
I recommend the book and give 5 stars. Thank you, Lara Adrian !
