Kristie is finally moving on with her life but Gray has returned to claim what is his.
***Due to sexually graphic content and language that some may find offensive, this book is intended for mature readers only***
Kristie has finally graduated from college. With a new boyfriend in tow, Gray’s rival, Armand, and moving back into her mother’s house, it feels as if life might finally fall back into place. But Gray, the love of her life, happens to return after hiding out of town. He’s been freed of being suspected of a murder he didn’t commit and is now looking to reclaim glory in his gang, the Devil’s Advocates, once again.
But both Kristie and Gray are in for surprises. People aren’t always what they seem. Kristie struggles to work through her relationship problems with Armand while Gray struggles to fall back into a position of power in the life he left behind. As the two of them are drawn closer together, both must choose the life they want – with each other, or alone. No matter what they end up picking, the risks in their lives can end up costing the two of them everything.
In this book, Kristie is dating Armand when Gray comes back into town. The cop who was so against him has been forced on leave for pursuing him with no evidence. Kristie is nervous to see Gray but finds the spark is still there. Armand is now acting crazy. He is secretive and always leaving at a moment's notice. Other times he is throwing his relationship with Kristie in Gray's face. Gray is trying to build back his life but it seems as if the rival gang is always one step ahead of them. Kristie realizes she wants to be with Gray and Armand is acting more and more erratic. Gray suspects Armand is behind the rival gang and when he is caught unawares, three men attack him and leave him for dead. He is found and brought to the hospital where he realizes he wants Kristie and a good life, so he decides to leave the gang and go straight. They decide to get married. The book ends when they leave for their honeymoon and Kristie gets shot for a bullet intended for Gray.

Of course with Gray out of the picture, since he left town, Kristie moves on with life, graduates from College and with Armand.
Armand is not to be trust worthy, but when Gray returns back to town, Gray hopes that maybe he can have a chance with Kristie, and try to get his Club back in Order, but Armand has different ideas. One that Gray does not like. He cannot be trusted.
Gray gets beat up one night, feels it has to be the Infernos that want to destroy the club, and maybe Armand because he wants to lead the club.
Kristie feels so bad he was hurt, and tries to reach out to him while in the hospital, some feelings, that never left, wants her to want Gray back.
But then there is Jealousy from Armand.
Will Armand lose Kristie to Gray and the club? You have to read, not a long book, but I totally love it, now starting Book 3!
Continuation of book 1. Kristie and Grey don't have it easy that's for sure. Armand is such a douche, I want to kill him. Nice quick read that continues in book 3. I received this book for free via author newsletter.
