For Paul Svendsen, writing is a way of expressing his concern for our planet and its inhabitants, and telling a great story. In AWAKENING the first book in The Chronicles of Banain series, the stage is set for an epic adventure five thousand years in the future after man has finally ruined the world he depends on. Writing AWAKENING allowed Paul to explore the "what if questions" like, what if animals could talk, or what if the power of the mind could be harnessed and used to its full potential. Paul lives in Ireland with his wife Stef and entourage of rescued animals. He is currently working on book two in the series which he hopes will be published later in the year.
