I've read some good BDSM erotica, and I've read some bad BDSM erotica. And this falls into the latter category.
On the other hand, if you are a budding Domly-Dom type, this will be right up your alley.

This is a book filled with sweet naughty hawt porn stories. I was told that the author wrote about himself and his sub/slave. I don't know much about writing, I'm a reader. I either enjoy what I read, or I don’t… it's that simple. (-: Reading Kitten's Tail felt a little like being a voyeur, like reading someone's secret journal. If that is what James aimed for, he succeeded.
If you like to read something to get 'in the mooood' and porn works for you, this little book might work too. If you want to read a good book with a great, substantiated story, this probably isn't it. There is a time and place for every book. :-) I can only imagine how much fun James must have had while writing this story! ;-)

The book is a collection of Daddy/little stories that are also Master/slave. The author begins an arrangement with Kitten and it tells of the types of play that they had during the years that they were together. I was stretching my boundaries by reading this as I tried branching out of my usual erotica, and I guess Daddy/little just isn't for me. Each short story is an erotic tale of (to me) the same thing over and over. The stories are short and quick to read. I did not enjoy this as much as I had hoped to.

Kitten's Tail
1 star...only because I cannot give a half a star.
This was my first (and probably last) foray into the genre of BDSM. This book was not only replete with unlimited grammatical, spelling and overall horrid grammar, each chapter was essentially a repeat on the preceding one. And the conclusion of this "book" was nothing short of pure fantasy. I would NOT recommend this book except to those readers who are only looking to improve their English skills by finding the numerous errors in this publication.
Also, no plot to speak of, too many repetitive phrases used, sometimes as many as 3 times per page. Annoying!
