I give this book a solid 3.5 stars!!
This story was short, thrilling and exciting. From the start it's immediately apparent who the key players are. Sal, the evil Boss of the Sabella crime family. Isaiah, the ex-navy SEAL turned bounty hunter, who's main client is Sal. Sloane, a filthy rich hacker. And Mellissa, the princess of the Sabella crime family and Sal's sister. There's coverups, betrayals, high speed chases, shots fired, and a romance all-in-one. It was very entertaining and had a sweet, albeit abrupt, happily ever after.

Isaiah is a fixer for the Sabella crime family after being dishonorably discharged from the Navy SEALs.
He is usually tasks with tracking down individuals & eliminating them for his employer. Mellissa Sabella is the mob bosses sister & she has the misfortune of witnessing her brother commit a crime. So Sal Sabella, the mob boss, sends Isaiah out to find his sister & bring her back to face the consequences of her actions. Because Sal spins the story that Mellissa committed the crime he is guilty of. Mellissa does the only thing she can think to do & that is run. And the only place she can think to run to is Isaiah's. As Isaiah prepares to take Mellissa back to Sal, more of Sal's goons show up & try to end both his & Mellissa's lives. Isaiah quickly looses faith with Sal Sabella & does what he needs to do to protect Mellissa. While hiding from the mob the attraction they have had for one another becomes more than either of them can ignore. Now as a couple they make a plan to be together but will they be able to pull it off? Will they every be free from the Sabella family? Do Isaiah & Mellissa stand a chance at a life together?
The is a short bad boy romance by first time duet authors Penelope Marshall & Tia Lewis. The story moves along at steady pace & is full of action. It is also a love story about two people who have spent most of their lives isolated from real relationships. Though they are thrown together by circumstances, they still make the effort to get to know each other. This really made the relationship part of the book work for me. I enjoyed this book & look forward to more books by these authors in the future.

Wow what a book this was, I was gripped from the very beginning right until the end, it was fast paced, action packed and full of suspense with a good few twists thrown in. Isaiah's a former Seal who was dishonorably discharged because he refused to participate in an Op that would have started a war killing many innocent people, when he returned home there wasn't much going for him at all and he found himself working as a freelance bounty hunter working mainly for Salvatore (Sal) the head of the Sabella crime family he finds himself called infront of Sal one day being ordered to find Mellissa Sal's sister who according to Sal killed his capo but all's not as it seems. Mellissa makes it easy for Isaiah by turning up at his place looking for his help but a job's a job & after an altercation with one of Sal's other men he sets out with the intention of taking Mellissa back to Sal but a car crash along with some other suspicious activity puts a stop to that. Isaiah turns to Sloane his trusted buddy for help but can he really trust him when all's said and done? Is Mellissa really a killer? Then there's Sal what's he really all about? I promise you will be kept on your toes with this book and you won't be disappointed. You wouldn't believe this is the first time these amazing author's have worked together the book was seamless, it would be great to read more from these two together maybe even a book based on Sloane (hint, hint).

Mislead is a quick read. I was pulled in from the beginning. The twists and turns kept me engrossed. The book probably could have been longer but the authors got right to the point and did a great job with descriptions.

Misled is a bad boy mafia romantic suspense written authors Penelope Marshall and Tia Lewis. A genius writing duo for this collaboration. Misled is about an ex-SEAL turned bounty hunter working for the mafia. His latest assignment will change everything!!
I am a fan of Penelope Marshall's works. She continues to grow into her writing more and more with each book. To have her pen a book with Tia Lewis, another author I'm familiar with... it was like two great worlds coming together to create their own masterpiece. Penelope's latest books tend to give you that twist in the midst of the story and she definitely brought that to this book, as well.
Isaiah is the ex-SEAL, bounty hunter, hired gun. He has convictions, but he tries not to have those interfere with a paycheck to live. Mellissa is part of the assignment and it all goes to trouble from almost from the beginning. The dynamic between these two is beautifully done. A little push and pull within it. Once they combine, it's just WOW!
The story was a quick read and would love to have read more, but some of the best authors love leaving you wanting more. I would loved to have seen more character interaction between the main characters to add more depth to the story. However, I just love reading these stories and didn't want to let you go just quite yet. I hope we see more of these characters soon!

Isaiah is the Bounty hunter for Sabella crime family he does his job well, so when he is told by the boss Salvatore he needs Isaiah to track down his sister for killing off his Capo and brother and bring her to him personally, he sets out to do just that. Quickly finding her, and finding nothing about this job will be easy or as it seems, now both their lives are at stake and they are on the run, can they trust each other? Can they trust how the feeling that have surfaced? Gotta say I think putting Penelope Marshall and Tia Lewis together was an excellent idea! Misled is a combination of sexy, fast moving twists, humours characters and and heart tugging awh moments that made me want to keep reading! I loved these characters! I had moments I felt so bad, some I was aggravated with them for being silly, and others I just loved the witty humor! I mean if I am in the middle of a car chase in a Maserati I hope I still have my wittiness about me!! Also the differing POVS was a nice change of pace, I liked being able to see each character's thought process as the story moved along. IMO this was a great read made that my cold dreary day better, I couldnt ask for more than that!

Misled takes you on a suspenseful ride of who done it. Mellissa is running for her life and is the sister of Sal Sabella who is head of the Sabella Mafia. After his Capo is murder he calls Isaiah to handle a contract for him. Isaiah is a dishonorable discharged ex-seal who can only find work with the skills he learn in the military. Well that lead him to working for Sal. When Isaiah learns his contract is to find Mellissa so Sal can kill her he doesn't expect to find that she's also looking for Isaiah to protect her waiting for him at his apartment. While trying to take Mellissa back to Sal, Isaiah senses something just isn't right about all of this. Now on the run from Sal himself, Isaiah needs to find out the truth especially now that he is falling for Mellissa. Worth reading to see if there is a happy ending.

This book did not take me so long to read behind posting reviews.
Isaiah is a former seal and now a fixer for the Sabella family. He has been asked to take care of the bosses sister, Mellissa but he knows what will happen when he takes her back. He doesn't care until he finds her at his apartment. Once he finds her more of the bosses men come as well and wants to take them both out. Do they come out of this together and in one piece?
A quick read about bad boy and sweet girl. The authors do a great job with the pace of the story and throwing these two together makes the story work. The characters get to know themselves better along with the reader and you find yourself hoping they make it out alive.

This was a really good book I enjoyed reading Mislead. This was a quick and fast paced adventurous and exciting. Both of the authors did a good job on creating a action packed hot romantic book. The story and the characters were also all great enjoyed reading about an Ex-Navy Seal bounty hunter that works for the mob his name is Isaiah. Isaiah is sent on a mission to rescue Melissa a sister to one of the mobster's. This book was fun can't wait to read more.

Another great book! This one definitely kept me on edge, wondering what was going to happen next. Isaiah risked his life for Mellissa. There was a bond between them right from the beginning. I'm so glad Isaiah and Mellissa fell in love. I definitely recommend everyone to read

This was, overall, an enjoyable and exciting read and, whilst it has a mafia background, it is much more of a romantic suspense story. The story didn't require you to suspend all disbelief. OK it is a work of fiction but it develops in a realistic way.
The two main characters are well written, likeable and fairly realistic. Whilst we got a bit of family background and insight into them, I didn't feel an emotional connection to them -for me emotion seemed to be lacking through a lot of the book. However the dialogue is snappy and generally the story flowed well. The book is written in the first person from the POV of 4 characters, with the hero and heroine being the predominant ones.
The plot twists and turns, with plenty of unexpected twists and turns throughout the entire book. I really wasn't expecting a lot of what did happen, this certainly does NOT have a predictable storyline. Other than the lack of emotion my only other issue was with descriptive language occasionally seeming quite crude 'lowered my head to the tender flesh of her tits'. However it is possible that as the book is written 1st person, the authors felt that this was the language their character would have used.

When I heard that Tia Lewis and Penelope Marshall teamed up I was so excited I loved both their books individually and thought wow together they can bring the house down and they did not disappoint.
From the very first page this book was off and running I did not want to put it down, all the secrets and suspense were keeping me interested from the start. I am really into the Mafia genre and this was another brilliant book.
I loved Mellissa she was dealing with a lot of family secrets and didn't let it get to her she just kept going and did what she needed to do. I love this when a character such as the female is so strong I just love it.
Isaiah was such an alpha male, he just did what he needed to do and got it done and that included getting Mellissa’s heart. He had a past to overcome just like Mellissa and they helped heal each other.
This was such a fantastic book, if you’re looking for a quick, suspenseful, hot, sexy, awesome read then this one is for you.

This was a great, quick romance with a suspense twist. Isaiah served his country until he no longer could. Now home, he is having a hard time finding what to do with himself. He has now become a freelance "fixer" and seems to be working for the Sabella crime family very closely.
When he gets a call to find someone for Salvatore Sabella, he is ready to do the job. He has never failed to do as asked when needed, but when she finds her way to him, he is not sure he can do the required job. She seems to get under his skin like no one else ever has. Is she really innocent of what she was accused off? Does it matter?
With time running out, can they find a way to save themselves before it is too late? Who can they trust.
I give Misled by Tia Lewis and Penelope Marshall 3.5 stars.

Very quick and fast paced read. Isaiah, is a former SEAL, who now works for the Salvatore family and Mellissa is the only sister of the Mafia boss, Sal. Isaiah is tasked with finding Mellissa who Sal believes killed his Capo, Cane, but everything is not what it seems. Mellissa comes to Isaiah for help, but is he willing to go against the Salvatore family or will he just deliver her to her fate?
Possible Spoilers below:
Great story line but I felt it was a little rushed at times. The relationship between Mellissa and Isaiah was definitely insta-love; it went from Isaiah sticking her in a trunk where she almost died to Isaiah calling her his one true love in basically two paragraphs.

This book has it all....
Action, murder, mafia, geeky sidekick, betrayal, passion, secrets oh and don't forget the trademark plot twist!
Misled is a great read. Once started you won't be able to put it down, it will draw you in and hold you there til the very end.
The characters have enough of a back story for this book, i would consider this a quick read, so there was enough there for me to get a feeling and understand the characters a bit more.
Misled is a seamless book, making it extremely difficult to tell that Penelope and Tia co-authored. Having not read Tia's work before this i will definitely be looking for her work now.
I hope there are more to follow this......I want more of Sloan and his bedroom ;)

Isaiah is an ex-Navy Seal turn one of the best bounty hunter for the Sabella crime family. Mellissa Sabella is a mafia princess, the sister of Sal Sabella, boss of the Sabella family. He hired Isaiah to bring back his sister after one of his capo was murdered. Mellissa and Isaiah was extremely attractive to each other but never acted on it due to the circumstances between them. Sal concocted a plan to frame Isaiah for Mellissa murder after one of his goon kills her but Isaiah perceives something isn't right when he is attack while under a contract with Sal. When both are on the run from Sal, secrets revealed, lies unfold and they start having feelings for each other. It's a lot I would like to say about this book but I don't want to give any plot points away. A great read!

This is a quick read and things move very fast in the story it full of drama and action. Isaiah is hired to bring Millissa in she is wanted by her brother. Millissa and Isaiah find themselves locked in a bomb shelter and don't know who to trust. But they start to fall for each other. She opens up to him and tells him the truth about what's happening. Knox only trust one person so when he find out he was set up by his best friend. He doesn't know who to trust. There are twists that will shock you and it's the oh s*** kind of shock . I love Sloan he is always up to something. But in the end he has always been on the right side.

Marshall and Lewis did a great, seamless job of writing this story together, you couldn't tell it was two authors. This is a great quick read. I enjoyed the twists and turns throughout this action packed book. The only drawback - I would have loved if it had been longer - more of the characters is a good thing. I couldn't put it down - read it one afternoon. I would recommend this book - you won't be sorry. What a great way to find new authors to enjoy.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Misled was a quick read, as it draws the reader in quickly and doesn't slow down. That was good and bad. I would have liked a little more time to get to know the characters and the speed sometimes shocked me with how fast it was moving but at the same time that was one of the highlights of the book.
The plot was interesting and I enjoyed the twists that just kept coming even to the very last page.
Overall it was a really good, quick and steamy read.

Shorty, sweet, and sexy in all the right places. Isiah and Melissa are not your typical meet, fall in love, break-up, and get back together couple. They meet at the very moment when she has a price on her head. Isiah thinks he's doing a simple, bounty hunter, snatch and grab job, only to find out that this is far from a easy task.
I'm used to great plot twist from these authors, but the twisty road they take you on with this book will leave you with your jaw on the ground! If you like, dark, mafia, romance with a hot and sexy hero who happens to be an Ex-Seal, then this is the book for you!

Four freaking stars!!! I love a book that can keep you reading until you finish, I'm having an obsession with bad guys and specially from the Mob
This book is kind of different, Isaiah is an ex SEAL, looking for redemption and getting in the wrong road, he finishes working with a family from the mob. Until one day he needs to accomplish something or someone who wasn't in his plans
I loved the story even if it was short, reading is a passion and good books are for that, to enjoy them. I popped my Cherry with Penelope but I keep reading to Tia!

Isaiah is a bounty hunter working for the Sabella family. He is good at what he does but when is next assignment is to bring back Mellissa, Sal's sister he just can't give her up. There are twists and turns that you don't see coming. I think it could have been a little longer but the story wasn't dragged out. I like Isaiah & Mellissa together and like Sloane as well. Good read that will have you flip the pages to see what happens

Suspense, betrayal, and love all in one book.
.....Fast paced, enthralling, steamy, and sweet.
Keeping your attention from beginning to end
I couldn't put it down..had to finished!!

...she was more then he expected...

Fantastic writting by these two extradinary authors. Yes, this is a mafia book but most of all it is a suspense filled love story. Isaiah is ex-military turned bounty hunter for the mob and Mellissa is a mob princess who is force to go on the run. This book stirs up all sorts of feelings and keeps you constantly wondering what is going to happens next. This is a short but intense story but I didn't feel like I was missing anything. I look forward to a story about Sloane to. Glad there is a HAE.
