*This is STANDALONE*

Kirsty-Anne Still is an absolute writing genius. She's gone and blessed us with another masterpiece. It'll capture your attention from the get go and have you rooting for the person that isn't who they seem. She'll make you feel so many emotions you won't believe but you'll love every single minute of it.

Lawson was my absolute favourite character, he was loyal and vows to protect everyone he loves. Ashley is a little firecracker, it was fantastic to see her unravel and Eden, well Eden pissed me off from the very beginning, as soon as she came into it I hated her and the pain she brought to Lawson but I wouldn't change a thing about her character. The storyline was amazing, you never see the twists and turns coming, brilliant.

I didn't like the threesome in it that much due to it being in Eden's POV (NOTHING to do with me not liking her HAH) it was hot but I feel like it would have been much better in Lawson's POV.

This isn't a love story for the fainthearted or romance lovers, this is a love triangle with lots of emotions, twists, turns and heartbreak involved.

SWEET VENOM is a crazy in love novel set in three point of views - crazy, crazier and craziest. This is a love triangle that is not made for those looking for an easy love story or an obvious end.
If I were you, I'd be careful who you fall for.

I have read Kirsty's books in the past and have had mixed feelings on them. One I have enjoyed, while others I just ok with. This one, I am not sure where I find myself.

I loved the plot - it was great. But it's how everything played out that took some of the excitement out of it for me. The characters I struggled connecting to. While at certain points I found myself really getting into the book, other times I found myself saying "do I really want to continue this book?" And I hate that. Let me try to explain further.

The characters. Ashley - I didn't really care for her at all. One minute she was all feisty and not afraid of anything and the next, she was this timid mouse. And that just drove me nuts. I won't give away any spoilers but at no point, beginning, middle or end, did I ever like this character. Eden I liked. She was fighter. She too had her moments of weakness, but you understood where those came in. As with Ashley, you just couldn't grasp why one minute she was strong and the next she was weak. She just became an annoying gnat that wouldn't go away. Then we have Lawrence - I really liked him. He's a killer, a ruthless one at that. But Ashley and Eden have a way of weakening him in different ways. And it's their ability to weaken him, that brings out different sides to him.

The plot. Love the concept! Hated how it played out. It seemed to take forever to get from one moment to the next. I get you want some suspense, but damn - don't drag it out. You lose the point and the readers interest. This is where I found myself skimming parts because I just wanted to get onto the next scene and what would happen next. There was too much inner monologue amongst the characters. I understand wanting to see what the characters are thinking, but sometimes it gets to be too much. If we have a good understanding of who they, we pretty much know why do they things. And the backstories of these characters - holy shit. Yes, I understand we need to know things that happened because it sets other parts in motion, but again, don't drag it out - there were multiple scenes jumping around explanations and then we finally find out the backstory. That was super annoying. It was just unnecessary filler. Sometimes it's just best to give a quick synopsis of backstory.

Yes, it sounds like I am tearing this book apart, but I'm not. I did enjoy reading this or I wouldn't have read it the whole way through. I think part of my issue is that this author is very detailed in her writing. And for me, personally it's too much. As an editor, this book would have been cut much shorter. Or possibly made into two books. But that's me.

Overall, the plot in itself was great. The book, while very lengthy was good. Don't expect for anything to stand out. It's one of those reads where you find yourself interested enough to continue, but it may take a few days to complete because there is not urgent need to finish other than flat out curiosity. There was portion near the end that redeemed this book a little and upped it to a 3 star rating for me.

I know that there are some who will love this book. As I said, that plot was awesome. Loved it. The characters were just ok - nothing to excite me and none that will stick with me. I am going to buy this book once it releases, but mostly for the reason of I need to see the final version of this book. I had an unedited ARC and I found LOTS of editing issues, which I think also hindered parts for me. I will re-read this and give an updated review on the released book if any of my opinions change. I will never critique an unedited book on editing issues - the answer to why is obvious.

Best Line in the whole book because of what it signifies:

"And that was it."

Lawson was always going to get the girl. But when it comes down to the end and you look back on the journey...Is she the same girl you wanted in the beginning?

I always pick my team in a triangle. I always know within a few chapters who is my "horse" but not this one. It took me almost halfway through to pick my girl. In the end, I chose wisely but there was a lot of doubt and some serious wavering.

Lawson may not be the traditional hero but to two women he is that and more. The problem is he can't seem to figure out which one is "The One". The one who broke his heart or the one who started it again.

In a dark world, dark fairytales rule. Sweet Venom is the sweetest dark fairytale. Once Upon A Time there was a Prince and his Queen...
They were hopelessly in love. They rebelled against their parents and everyone around them. They wanted to be themselves. They didn't want to live in the shadows.

But one night a storm neither saw coming separated them. It caused them great pain. He believed she no longer loved him and strived to be rid off the pain. He couldn't get rid of his love but one day he found someone who might be able to help.

The Prince was wary of the newcomer. He couldn't bear to replace his Queen but something about her made him feel alive again. And though the situation was unusual, the Prince began to fall.

Some may think that's all she wrote, some may worry about the end. But ladies and gents, that is just the beginning. Because his Queen doesn't fight fair and she won't lose her Prince with a fight. However, the new Princess isn't going to just give up.

And so my friends, colleagues, and enemies begins Sweet Venom. May it poison your senses, confuse your heart, and leave you breathless.

Ah Sweet Venom... Where to start?

A lot of books are described as emotion roller coasters, I have described more than a few of the books I have read exactly that and a few have been written by Kirsty but Sweet Venom? It tops all of them and this is the biggest and most seductive emotional roller coaster I have ridden. I may even go as far to say that I suffered emotional whiplash while reading and falling hopelessly in love with this story and Kirsty herself.

This is certainly no a love story for the faint hearted and it promises no hearts or flowers, well except the very beautiful orchid. But you will be completely smitten with this story and the way it is told. I have always admired Kirsty's writing and adored the places she takes me with each new story and Sweet Venom only cements that for me. She has taken every expectation I have for her and BLOWN them out of the water, completely. This for me is next level writing and thinking and this is not like any story I have read before and probably won't again. I really am lucky to have watched Kirsty's journey as a writer and to have witnessed each idea blossom and turn into a book to be proud of, Sweet Venom should be her proudest accomplishment yet because it is such a damn perfect story!

Now to give juicy hints without spoilers...

Hot men... check!
Kick ass female... check!
Smoking storyline... check!
Head completely f*cked... check, check and CHECK!

Lawson is a man that any woman would happily be her Prince Charming even in his darkest moments. He is the kind of man you would go to hell for, believe me! Ashley and Eden. Ah the blonde and the brunette. Women who couldn't be more different but both with the same end goal. The number 3 never looked so hot! You will unknowingly pick sides before you even realise you have done it but which team will you pick?

Be prepared to lose yourself, to have your emotions dragged to the surface and experienced, to enter a world you won't want to leave, to fall in love, have your heart broken and then maybe put back together. Every second you spend in these pages you will love, you will finish the story and want to start all over again just to be back in this seductively dark and delicious world.

Well done Kirsty on this masterpiece!

No matter how many times I read Sweet Venom, I don't think I will ever truly get enough of it.

Well, now that I can form any sort of sentence, I think I can get this review done. But be warned, it may contain SPOILERS. This is your warning, continue reading at your own risk!

Wow! What an emotional, head-f*ck of a journey that was!

Kirsty-Anne, you twisted woman, you kept me on the edge of my seat the whole way through and I have to say, this may well be your best work yet! I hope there's going to be more, maybe Tess and Nate's story? Would love to see, in more depth, how that all came about and continued! Also, I want more Liam and Lawson banter!

At the beginning, we meet Ashley, ah Ashley. She comes with a clause and contract, meaning she is Lawson's problem now. But how will Lawson react to this? Is Ashley all she cracked up to be? Now, Lawson. Lawson is part of The Firm, he's smoking hot! Even when he's covered in the blood of his victims he's a man I would love to lose myself to, although I'd need to beat off the Blonde and the Brunette! Well, you know how psycho redheads are... just sayin :-P. Back to the story. In comes Eden, the love of his life, the one who broke his heart. She comes back just as Lawson was starting to love again. Who will Lawson choose? The brunette, who has been thrust upon him suddenly and could give him the fresh start? Or the Blonde, who is the love of his life also, the one who tore his heart out and broke it into pieces? One thing's for sure, he better choose wisely.

So, what will you be? #TeamAshley or #TeamEden ??? I know who I'd choose, but is it the right one?

Kirsty-Anne, you continue to grow and flourish with ever book you produce. I've loved your work since FanFiction and I'm so happy that you have allowed me to join you on this journey of yours. Keep up the amazing work and keep writing those beautiful words.

This is a hard review for me to write. I mean I loved this book but I had a love/hate relationship with the characters which was just as dark and twisting as the storyline itself.
From the beginning, I was 100% #TeamAshley. I hated Eden with a burning passion. But then somewhere along the way, I was 50/50 #TeamAshley & #TeamEden. Somehow, Eden managed to redeem herself enough for me to have a foot in each camp.
Before which, I had messaged Kirsty and told her if she made me like Eden I was going to throw a tantrum worthy of a two year old. Little did I know then that Eden would worm her way into my affections. So it was time to throw a tantrum.
Then, somehow I ended up totally 100% #TeamEden and I despised Ashley. I can't tell you why because it would ruin the fun of finding out for yourself, but there came a moment, a bolt out of the blue, that made me turn on Ashley.
This story was full of angst, drama, passion, hatred, vengeance and a twisty storyline that made you feel as though you never knew what would happen next. You might have thought you knew, but something would happen to knock you off balance.
I was as divided as a person could be. I mean how could I end up hating poor, sweet, innocent Ashley?! Well trust me, it happened. And now I look back at it and I can clearly see which of the two main women was the true heartless, calculating b**ch. Both women have a darkness about them, the thing is, Eden wears her darkness like a badge of honour, whereas Ashley hides hers.

This story was amazing from beginning to end. It had me hooked and I sank low into the life the characters led.
Lawson was a brilliant character. He's a killer, but he also has some redeeming qualities. I found myself enthralled and I was rooting for him to end up with the right woman.
If you're looking for a romantic, swoon-worthy love story that makes you weak at the knees, this is NOT that story.
This is a story of an anti-hero and his life as a killer as part of The Firm.
The main characters might be Lawson, Eden and Ashley, but the secondary characters really shine through too. They are just as enigmatic as the MC's. I loved every one of them, especially Liam and Tess.
There are more twists, turns and loop the loops than the biggest roller coaster I've ever ridden. Sweet Venom is one of the best books I've read in a long time. There's so much packed into one story. A gamut of emotions, highs, lows and lower than lows. The depths people will go to for those they love...
I've never read a story from 3 different POVs before, I wasn't even sure it could be done. But Kirsty-Anne Still executed it perfectly. I didn't know what to expect going into this story. Would one of the main characters be lacking because the story was told by 3 people instead of 2? Definitely not! They were all strong characters, vital to the furthering of the plot. There were a couple of subplots along the way and I was in for a shock more than once.

All in all, this was a superb read. I always love KAS's books, but this ranks highest for me (second on the list is Heroine Hearts). I was left sated, yet I wanted more. More Lawson, more Eden, more Liam... but more Ashley? Nah!

It was an epic story and if I could rate it more than 5 stars, I would.
I can guarantee the readers will be divided. Who will you end up rooting for? Please pick up a copy and find out.

A beautifully written novel, by an extremely talented author. One I wish would be turned into a movie because it played out like one in my head.
I easily fell into the story, felt a connection to the characters as if I was actually there. I saw the blood and death surrounding me and I loved every moment of it. I hope you do too!

Not as expected

It's quite difficult for me to decide whether I liked or not this book. It took me long to finish and got distracted by other books simply because right from the beginning I just did not like Ashley ( like she really got on my nerves). Later in the story the other main characters I have discovered were equally very weak to say the least. Lawson was just totally not convincing about falling in love with Ashley while he still supposedly loved Eden. As male character also I would expect so much more from him especially when interacting with his father, but also asking the girls to fight for him (really?!). He just behaved like a schoolboy instead of 29 years old like he was. Despite my strong dislike for Ashley, I regret to say, she had more character than Eden, who was full of talk and threats against Ashley but zero action. Her constant doubt about Lawson's love and the letters she sent were totally ridicules and childish. She professed such a deep love but the level of self doubt and insecurities she had were just unbelievable and off putting.

The plot itself was overall good idea with potential to be much better. There were holes in the plot mainly inconsistencies in scenes description, poor explanation of the origin of the contract, and the last part of the story and its resolution took way too long, literally over several chapters where it should not extend beyond one or two. Honestly majority of what was written there were unrealistic, over the top descriptions of events that I ended up skipping. The dialogues were also at times difficult to understand, what was the point of what has been said, sometimes the words were used just to make impressions.

I read very good reviews which convinced me to start reading the book but the story did not live to my expectations. I'm struggling to wholeheartedly recommend it to others.

oh my god, oh my god, OH MY GOD!

I was dying to read this book and couldn't wait to get my hands on it AND let me tell you that I was NOT disappointed after reading this book.

I absolutely love, love, LOVE triangles because these types of stories always make my emotions go all over the place. My heart races and I am left always wishing, wishing and wishing and sometimes I don't get the ending that I want, but most of the time my rooting for the "one" does go my way.

We meet Ashley who has been owned by a major asshole who doesn't care about her and only cares about selling her. Ashley doesn't know anything different so when Lawson comes into her life "accidentally" she believes that he will be her new owner even though he doesn't want that, but she fights him tooth and nail. She doesn't know anything other than the fact of being owned.

When Lawson finds himself immersed in Ashley, his ex decides to come back in the picture and she's a major b*tch but her coming back into the picture and making it difficult for Lawson to decide since he still has feelings for her is what makes a book a DAMN good book.

This definitely was a crazy, crazier and craziest type of book that you don't want to miss out on!

This is the first book I read from this author and I am definitely going to continue reading more because I found myself enamored with this book. The feels, my emotions were in a whirlwind.

This book was everything I was hoping it would be!

5 Absolutely Fantastic Stars!

Regrettably, this is my first read by Kirsty but I was honoured to also be a part of the BETA team, so I *have* read it twice. I think I enjoyed it more the second time when reading the whole story in one; even though I knew what was going to happen, I still wanted to get through it to feel the suspense and choose my side all over again!

Sweet Venom introduces us to Lawson, part of The Firm in the city of New Orleans. Due to his job, he becomes "lumbered" with Ashley, and that's where the crazy really begins. The story is set around Mardi Gras which is important to the storyline, and where we meet Eden in person; she makes a crazy situation become crazier...

I FLOVE Lawson! He would do anything for the ones he loves, but he also has a tough exterior. Both Ashley and Eden bring out all. the. feels in him, and he is stuck in a crazy triangle where he *must* choose just one. It took me a while to-ing and fro-ing to choose mine, but I'm deadly set on her now! (Excuse the pun!).

Ashley. I liked her. I liked the kind of multiple personality she had, from meek to fighter. She kept flitting between the two but it worked with the storyline, and we saw her true personality at the end - wow!

Eden. I loved her. Feisty, but past events changed her and brought out the emotions in her. Why she is the way she is, is understood from what she's been through. I'm 100% #TeamEden.

I loved the triple POV of this book, it was completely necessary and progressed well. The supporting cast added an extra dimension to the book and they all slotted in well - especially Liam, and holy hell!

Sweet Venom had lots of twists and turns throughout, and I never expected the ending. Lawson finally gets his girl, but which one? A true roller coaster and I am definitely going to need to read more of Kirsty's books now!

This is a must read for 2017 and already in my top books of the year.

Holy wow what on earth did I just read?
I literally just finished this book with my jaw on the floor.

Miss Still did an excellent job with this story. An amazing storyline with more twists and turns than a rollercoaster!!

And omg just when you think you know what's happening another curve ball hits you at the turn of the page and you sit there thinking whaaaaattt???

I cannot praise this book enough, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I do think it's a little long, slightly more than most books I read. But if it hadn't been than it wouldn't have had the same impact it had, same for if it was split.

Just honestly, get this book and read it.
And anyways how can you resist that beautiful cover?? But don't let the cover fool you, it's not all love and flowers.......

Wow !!
I'm not sure what I expected from this book but OMG it totally surpassed my expectations.

I've read lots of twisted love stories and this one will go to the top of that list, it's a crazy mixed up love story, it's a mystery, it's a mafia book amd it blew me away. The writing is amazing we get information drip fed to us, slowly slowly we learn more about all the players in this game. Kirsty kept me on the edge of my seat I couldn't put the book down. My emotions were all over the place I flipped my allegiance from Ashley to Eden then back to Ashley the one I never wavered on was Lawson I didn't care he was a killer he's just such a compelling character.
When we meet Ashley I wasn't sure what to think about her, she came across as a rich mans plaything but she's not. We know very little about her, we know she's tied to a contract that gives her to which ever man gets the contract next and now Lawson is the holder of it.
Lawson is part of The Firm, he's a tough killer he's also a hottie but he's bitter after the love of his life Eden left him. He starts to let Ashley into his heart when Eden unexpectedly returns. Eden is a little bit crazy a lot scary I wouldn't want to cross her that's for sure.
Who does he pick the girl that's opened his heart again or the girl who broke his heart? Who will you pick who's side are you on?
This is a story that will keep you guessing it's full of plot twists, it's sexy, it's dark, it's compelling. A word of warning be prepared and expect the unexpected.

Crazy in love? Youuuu betcha! Sweet Venom is part of the Crazy in Love novels and certainly so! I love dark characters, dark writing, love triangles... all things messed up! Kirsty executed everything beyond all posibilites! She leaves your head spinning in true WTF fashion.

You will feel EXHAUSTED after reading this book. Who to choose? Who to trust?

This review is WAY different than what I normally write. I don't want to risk giving anything away or swaying your opinion on the characters AT ALL.

Enter at your own risk and good luck ;)

This book was brilliant and I loved it, however it was a slow burner for me and that detracted from it for me. (It was completely necessary for the story). Although when it caught it went off like crazy. The story revolves in and around the dark underworld of New Orleans, where The Firm have a grip of things. I really can't say alot about this story without giving everything away.

It's a twisted story and where you never see the surprises coming until they hit you, it's a very very clever story. The main characters Lawson, Eden and Ashley were great but this book would have been nothing without the supporting cast of Liam, Joe, Tess, Nate, Frazier, Alex and Seamus. The way they all worked within this story is brilliant.

This book is a great recommend for me. A great well written read that leaves you reeling from start to finish.

SWEET VENOM.

What a name for a twisted, crazy, insane book.

All of those in the good way of course!

Kirsty-Anne Still is a new to me author, and SWEET VENOM has certainly piques my interest enough to look into her other novels. SWEET VENOM was laced with vengeance so deep, that it was told in three different points of view; crazy, crazier, and craziest.

I'll let you decide who belongs to which category!

In these three point of view are three characters; Ashley, Lawson, and Eden. Each one of them has something they're hiding, and each one of them have betrayals that will destroy so much more than themselves. So, the gist of the story is that Ashley is repaying a debt that her family accrued over 120 years ago. When Lawson - swoony, hottie - steps into the picture, and ends up being her next master by less than ideal conditions, there is nothing more than he wants than for her to disappear. Money doesn't seem to want to keep her away, and the only thing she can keep saying is he'll find out soon enough what she means by "paperwork".

And, boom, lands the paperwork.

That's only the beginning of their problems.

Lawson has had his heart broke, and that's one heck of a mess that left my mind reeling, and spinning for some time. Lawson was an outstanding character. For all the bad he committed throughout SWEET VENOM there was still some good under that rough exterior. When his ghost of the past shows up, that's when things get intense, because she certainly doesn't just waltz right into the bar he's stationed at, and announce herself. No, she leaves a message for Ashley; one that she knows Lawson will know exactly who it was from.

Eden made everything about 10 times more complicated. When I thought I had something figured out, I was jerked to something completely new, and something I had never even thought of. I don't want to give anything away that has to do with Eden because she was an interesting character, and I loved that I went into this not knowing anything about her, or her intentions. Overall, the characters (main, and supporting) were all very well written. The story line was complex; a little drawn out at times, but totally needed.

A brilliant 4 Stars to Kirsty-Anne Still on a twisted, dark read that will capture any reader from the first page!

Well I stuck it out. Wanted to quit before I met Eden, but kept going. Then things were back in forth with nothing making sense. I couldn't grasp characters and there true thoughts. They kept changing. Then Lawson's deal between the Eden and Ashley. Really? Then the shower scene. Really? Ashley's POV did not match ending... This was a bit too out there for me, jumped around, something about it just didn't make it believable for me.

Reviewed as part of the blog Tour.

Omg. This was my first book by Kirsty and let me tell you this: when I was in the middle I knew I needed Paperback of this amazing story. I was lucky enough that Kirsty will be in Liverpool next weekend and I will be there. So pre-order form here I go!

But anyway. The story. I love a good, full of emotions, angst and hot scenes triangle. And that's what was created here. The sexy scenes were created with steaminess that made me fan myself few times!

I liked the characters. They were believable and real. I could feel what they were feeling. And that's what I like.

My favourite is Lawson. Yumminess. That's all.

Go and read it people!

Sweet Venom is a dark read, there's blood violence and murder. It's highly data paced and action packed from page one and its also highly addictive. The characters scream personality at you with every word written. I was unsure until over half way through who's team I was on. Which girl was the one to pick? I changed my mind so many times. The question is which one will you pick?. I

Goddamn did this book mess with my head. This was brilliant, I loved it. I can't go into much detail without giving the plot away. I will say the ending left me pissed! I rooted for #Ashley even after I found out some ish.

I wanted to rage punch my kindle over Eden lmao. I left it in my head that the ending wasn't the ending and the girl will come back and kick ass and get the guy.

There are no words that can adequately express just how amazing this book was. It has to be one of the first books, that I have picked up in a long time, that captivated me so completely that nothing else in this world mattered.

I was sucked into Ashley and Lawson's world from the very first second and I immediately felt something for these characters. They were complex and I wanted to know every detail about their lives. What was up with the contract that bound Ashley to the men she'd been with, would Lawson stand by this new predicament he found himself in or would he find some way out of it? And, then of course, there was the mystery behind Lawson's broken heart; who had damaged him? Why? and would he ever truly open up to Ashley, or would he forever guard himself against love?

With the addition of a certain ghost from Lawson's past, things got even more twisted and nothing, I mean, NOTHING was ever quite what it seemed. Even when I thought I knew what was going to happen next, Still threw a million curveballs that tore at my emotions until there wasn't much left of me.

The characters, even with their unsavoury behavior, were all likeable. The woman were kickass, calculating and at times frightening. Lawson was the perfect anti-hero. He was charming and charismatic, and it was easy to see why he was stuck in a love-triangle that was unlike any I have ever read before. It was written so well that I was cheering for all concerned and I would have been heart-broken no matter who lost in the end.

This story was intriguing and suspenseful. It kept me guessing the entire way through and by the end I was left with a jumble of emotions. It was brilliantly written, with clever plot twists and amazing characters. Definitely my top pick for 2017 thus far. Spectacular.

This book needs to be taken down a few pegs....I wanted to believe this was a 5 star read but the typos alone really became distracting. I think this book had a lot of potential but I lost interest fairly quickly.

I was lucky to receive Sweet Venom in an ARC in exchanged for a honest review. I am giving this book 4 stars because of the way the author crafted this amazing story together. This was my first time reading a book by Kirsty-Anne Still, and I have to say she is one twisted writer. I love books like this where they keep you guessing, and where the characters make you so mad you wish you could slap them lol. That's kind of how this book was it was like yes it frustrating the crap out of you, but you just can't put it down because you need to see what happens. Sweet Venom is not a love story it more like wtf kind of love triangle story lol. I personal think it made the story way better because it gave us readers more drama even though I feel like it honest was a no brainer when it came down to who the hot sexy killer should of chosen. But of course him being a man he can't see it instead he takes awhile making a decision on who he wants which makes it difficult for the woman that was meant for him. I don't want to give away to many details about this book that's why I am being so hush hush about everything. I just think you need to read the book to understand what I'm talking about. Sometimes you just can't describe how enchanting a story can be especially a FU** up story like this lol. But I mean it in a very good way. And if you're like me and sometimes you just need a crazy tangled up and down story then this is the book for you. Hey everybody needs a little dark drama now and then lol where it has you pulling out your hair, but that sadist part in you just won't let you stop reading you just have you continue. This book so did that to me!

A head-spinner, with plenty of twists

Great story line, some strong likeable characters and some not so likeable! How it was meant to be! Though it will play with your emotions as you decide whose team you're on !! In the end I'm truly #teamEden !!

Well, where do I start is the ultimate question?

This book took me on a whirlwind of an adventure, I'm a dark, psychotic character lover and I definitely picked the right, or wrong - depending on who you ask - character to love in this book, so when reading be careful who you fall for.
This book is a love triangle that even you don't want to get out of, it's full of twists and turns that you don't expect and will make your heart beat faster and faster the more invested you get.

I loved and hated my emotions during this read, the author betrays you in every chapter you read and I wouldn't have had it any other way.
It takes a lot for a book to really get to me but this one did, the last few chapters of the book I literally had tears in my eyes and was so confused about everything I'd felt while I read this that I know it's going to be my favourite book of the year.

I love every book of Kirsty-Anne Still's but this one it's by far the best one yet and I can't wait for others to get the same joy from reading this as I have.

Wow, just wow.

This is the 2nd book I have ever read by this author and by far the best. You may think that isn't hard by it only being my 2nd, but to say when I read Heroine Hearts I only gave 3 stars. I am sure that that now speaks volumes.

I was apprehensive after the last book but decided to give it another go. I am so glad that I did.

Whether this is your first, second, third or even more for this author it is a must for 2017. The book is hard hitting and gives no apologies for this.

You think the ones you trust are the ones to have your back and vice versa but that isn't always the case. The ones closest to you can be the ones hardest to forgive.

I am so looking forward to reading some more books by this author in the future.

4 Stars!

The book is part of the Crazy In Love series and let me tell you, crazy is right.

The book, told in three POVs, is the story of three people who are at three different levels of crazy. Lawson is closed off and cold until he meets a woman who finally makes him feel something, but she is bound by a contract to another man. Ashley is bound by contract to a man and that contract can only be broken by his death. Finally, there is Eden. Eden has a thing for Lawson and she is beyond jealous and determined to get him back. It is all a messed up, crazy love triangle.

This book is not light. It is dark and twisted. It will run you through the gamut of emotions. I was never really sure who I wanted to root for.

Take a chance on this one. It is different, differently good.

*ARC received in return for a honest review*
It is the first book I have ever read from this author and it will not be my last.
WOW I loved it !
Sweet Venom is dark, the story grabbed me from the first page.
My mind was going miles a hour and I couldn't put it down.
The story is told from different POV and I loved it, you never get bored.
You will find twist, mystery, dark (obviously) and all you can actually find in a mafia book !
The characters were real and crazy. The writing is really good.
I can't wait to read more from Kirsty-Anne Still.

Sweet Venom: A crazy in love novel (Kindle Edition) by Kirsty-Anne Still is a full-length standalone novel.
This book is not for the faint of heart.
Meet Ashley and Bryce (but Bryce didn´t last very long).
Then she´s the property of Lawson and The Firm. Things get crazy really fast. And oh boy do they get violent and crazy.
Who is Eden and what is Ashleys end game?

I will not spoiler here, only so much. This is a dark read, there is violence, murder and carnage.
I liked the characters, some more than others. I liked the words and I rate this book 4 Stars.
Thank you Kirsty-Anne Still.
