The Hot Clerk

Rate this book
This short erotic story is approximately 5000 words in length.

Sometimes it's not Santa who brings the best gifts...

Kaitlyn never imagined a simple chore at work would lead her to meet the man of her dreams. She lusted after Zach with a single glance, but somehow, thanks to the magic of the holiday, it turned into so much more.

Due to graphic sexual content, no one under the age of 18 should read this story. You’ve been warned.

I write Erotic Romance. Or maybe you prefer to think of it as Romantic Erotica. Either way, I hope you enjoy the stories. In addition to the contemporary erotic romance, I sometimes work in other erotic genres. To date, I've penned a couple of erotic horror stories, one fantasy erotic romance novella, and more to come. I have one novel to my name so far, with plans for many more. I don't have any plans to stop writing short stories, either, as I have a blast with those!

And, for those of you who are more interested in who I am, here you go: I'm in my early-40s, and happily married to my best friend. We have a dog and no little rug-rats. We live in Southern California, and if you happen by me when I'm writing, you'll most often find me listening to heavy metal and hard rock music, my jams of choice (as I'm sure you can tell with my novel, His Hard Rockin' Princess). You can probably tell from some other stories that I enjoy sports. Even though I've never written a story about it, my sport of choice (to watch, not play!) is ice hockey. Go Anaheim Ducks! I often write, either a draft or an outline, while watching a Ducks game on TV. My favorite football team is the Baltimore Ravens. It's not because of anything on the field, but because of the Edgar Allan Poe connection. Lame, right? I don't care; I love that logo! (And if you read my short "The Odd Costume Party Fiasco" you'll know what my favorite Poe short story is!)

My activities of choice to stay in shape (or at least try) are running and walking. A few years ago I completed two half-marathons, in addition to a number five- and ten-Ks. I'm a bit, shall we say, less in shape these few years later, but I still try. I also enjoy a nice walk with an audiobook playing through my headphones. I also enjoy romance books, fantasy books, some horror, and anything else that has a great story to tell!

As for my metal music, which is ultra-important in my life, Corey Taylor is one of my favorite singers, though don't ask me to choose between Slipknot and Stone Sour. (I love them both, especially live!) I also love Rob Thomas and Matchbox 20. (Shut up; I know that's so not metal, but I can't help it!) Korn, Rob Zombie, Red, Shinedown, SIXX:AM, Halestorm, Metallica, The Pretty Reckless, Trivium, Machine Head, and Volbeat are a few other bands I absolutely love. (And there are way too many more to list them all, especially the death metal and grindcore bands I love to listen to while I edit!)

Very exciting and hot Christmas story!

Update 10/8: this story really gets better over time and still really exciting to the point of really seeing the antics!

Just in time for the holiday season (don’t you hate that phrase) comes a story that anyone who has ever worked in retail during the holidays will certainly appreciate. The story opens in the middle of a confrontation between Kaitlyn and your typical irate customer who waited until the last minute to do his shopping and, lo and behold, what he wants is out of stock. The dialog and the things Kaitlyn wishes she could say are so well done they brought back not-so-fond memories of my time at Waldenbooks. Kaitlyn holds her cool, the customer storms out (don’t they always), and I want to know more about this sexy young lady.

Kaitlyn soon meets Zack and immediately falls in lust. Things turn hot and steamy when they find themselves alone in Zack’s manager’s office, and Kaitlyn does something even I wouldn’t have the nerve to do. (You’ll need to read the book to find out what it is.) Things heat up even more when Kaitlyn follows Zack home. (You really need to read this book.)

As much as I enjoyed the story and the sex, I enjoyed Clara’s conversational writing style the most. She sucked me into the story and made me feel like she was right there, telling me about her exploits at Hilltop Toys. Not many authors can do that.

I look forward to reading Clara’s other books. And if you haven’t guessed yet, I highly recommend this one!

Another hot story from Clara Zaynn. This one was a little bit nice and a lotta bit naughty. During a stressful shift at a toy store, Kaitlyn meets Zach. Sparks fly! I won't spoil the story but I promise it's hot! The story is fast pace and naughty. But there are a few sweet moments to make you aww. Perfect to warm up a chilly night.

I like a good short, sexy story. This definitely fit the bill! I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a hot romance that begins in the workplace and heats up later. I bet you'll enjoy it. I sure did!!

Ho! Ho! Yum!

Kaitlyn and Zach both work at the mall. Kaitlyn, dressed in her hot little elf costume, visits another store to have some large bills broken for change. There, she stumbles upon the hunky Zach and it's love at first sight.

As luck would have it, they manage a little "alone time" in the supply room. But that's just a taste of what's to--ahem--come.

This is a great little story that will certainly spread Christmas cheer. Clara's writing is smooth and clean with good prose and clever metaphors. But mostly, it's really HOT! Highly recommend!
