The Deep Well of Time is written primarily to Montessori elementary school teachers, which I am not. For me, a high school history teacher, the valuable part is 50 or so pages at the beginning about storytelling in the classroom. The other 5/6ths of the book is comprised of educational stories designed for elementary-age students. I had hoped for a bit more that was directly relevant to me, but the advice is practical and sound.
There is some good information and stories in this book, but also a lot of material less relevant to me. The author does have a good storytelling cadence, though.
