Lots of info about some of the behind the scenes stuff taking place on the rebel base during the mission. Pretty cool collection of files and gives a little more background info on some characters.

Me ha sorprendido muy gratamente, me esperaba el típico libro con ilustraciones 'chulas' para pasar un ratito y el texto ha resultado estar muy trabajado y en la línea de la película.
Por no hablar de lo trabajada que está la edición

It was good, but just a little too basic for my tastes. I'm glad I
read it, but that is about it.

The Rebel Dossier is basically a combination of a guidebook and in-universe journal. It includes all the usual background from a guidebook -- going through characters and vehicles from the Rogue One movie -- but it also includes messages sent between rebels discussing some of the early events of the film and revealing a bit more about how various characters feel about what's going on. There's nothing especially eye-popping here, although there are some simple diagrams of vehicles and droids as well as pictures from the movie, if that's something you're into. Unlike some guidebooks, the Rebel Dossier doesn't overstay its welcome. It's a quick little look at Rogue One, and a good introduction or companion piece for a kid who's interested in the movie.

The Star Wars Rouge One Rebel Dossier is a short non-fiction book that describes the characters and events in the movie Rouge One. The book gives a short list of information about each character That includes a short background of the character and his/her traits.
I read the book from start to finish, careful not to miss any details. I felt very satisfied by the book as it answered many of my questions about the movie. The book, however, is missing a few details that I would've liked to see. This book is not one of my favorites, but I still enjoyed it.
I would recommend this to anyone who has finished the movie and still has questions.

This was a really cute addition to Rogue One , one of the newer movies in the Star Wars series.

For viewers like me, who clung to the main characters but didn't remember as much about the supporting cast, this has lots of notes that detail what would have happened off screen during the course of the movie. There are also bits about the main characters which definitely add to the movie, as far as characterizations go.

I think this was a little heavy on background for my taste, but I enjoyed it as a supplement to the movie.

This is a great reference work for anyone who finds in the STAR WARS universe a fertile playground for the imagination. Inside, readers can find detailed profiles of all the major Rebel characters in ROGUE ONE -- including my personal favorite, Chirrut Imwe. Hint to Disney Press: I hope we get to learn more about these characters and their backstories in future STAR WARS publications! :)

Call this 3.5 stars -- it's a lovely little book full of background details about everything in "Rogue One" -- including a number of support characters who are only seen briefly in the film. It's geared to a similar audience as the old Doctor Who Annuals, so the younger you are the more you will appreciate it.

A great prequel to the real events in Rouge one movies, gives a short summaries and pictures through the book of the main players and the small storylines that leads up to in the movie. I enjoy it and so loved the movie. Cannot wait for some more.

A really nice roundup of info on the rebels who make up Rogue One. Skillfully targets an appropriate age level without getting too political, etc. - great for middle grade readers.

Perhaps not too surprisingly, but a little more politically relevant and timely than I'd expected from a quick little Rogue One primer. Text seems to be nicely canon-compliant (certainly with Catalyst) but I've only seen Rogue One once so I'm not totally sure.

It's fun but a little more young reader-focused than I was expecting (which seems a little odd considering the film is the least accessible to younger viewers in the series).

Provides a little more detail and highlights things you might not have caught watching Rogue One. Foreshadows the return of a Rogue One character in the Star Wars Rebels show.

Solid book with diagrams about the state of the galaxy during Rogue One as well as diagrams and cool pictures. The book is another great example of how organized the new canon series of books can be

This was one of the better background media tie-in pieces I have read. It gave a much clearer picture of what the command structure of the Alliance to Restore the Republic, a.k.a. "the Rebellion", looks like at the time of the film, what they knew about Galen and Jyn Erso, and what their plans had been initially.

There are mission reports, data entries and internal memos from Mon Mothma, Draven and others.

A few of interest...

Lt. Voron NA'al on Jyn Erso:
She seemed indifferent to our cause, telling the room that she's never had the "luxury" of political opinions. I found that curious, because I know she once served as a fighter for Gerrera. Perhaps he did something that made her reject our movement. she wouldn't be the first to think Gerrera's actions have given our cause a bad name.

Then again, it is clear she is no friend to the Empire. So who is she instead? I don't think any of us know yet.

Mothma to Draven:
I have received her arrest records and find no evidence that she's attacked civilians or tried to swindle them. The targets of her crimes have always been Imperial officials or fellow members of the galactic underground.

Draven initially ordered Andor to "Extract Galen Erso and return him to Base One at all speed, along with any research about the weapon that you can obtain. Keep him alive at all costs. The commander (Mothma) wants him to testify before the Senate about the Imperial weapon."

But upon learning who Galen is, Draven decides he knows too much and needs to be eliminated. To that end, he skirts around the matter of assassinating him while talking to Mon Mothma, but makes it clear that he considers Galen too dangerous to bring before the Senate.
