One of the best books I've read about Communism. Second only to Sri Minoo Masani's magnum opus, The Communist Party of India. One critical difference being that Sri Aravindan Neelakantan has shined light on Communism as a whole while the other book focusses mostly on the history of Communism in India.

Brilliant book with a riveting narrative. Must read if you want to understand Communism, provided you know Tamil !!
