"Nothing is the same without you."

"I can't imagine leaving... this is home."

Christmas used to be Cole Dawson's favorite time of year. But now, single and alone on the sprawling Montana ranch he inherited from his parents, his home--not to mention his heart--feels emptier than ever. What good is the magic of the holidays when there's no one to share it with? And can a house really be a home, without someone there to love?

"I can't wait to get out... I need more."

Ten years ago, Preston Richards couldn't wait to get out of Big Timber, Montana. Away from the small-town life, the idle gossip, the same faces in the same places, day after day. But now that he's chased down his dream of a bigger life, he's starting to suspect that more isn't always enough.

"I never fell out of love."

This year, Christmas comes with a second chance, the magic of mistletoe, and two men who might just find everything they thought it was too late to wish for...

Mistletoe Wishes is a short, standalone, holiday romance novella of approximately 22,000 words, with no cliffhangers and a HEA ending.

Second chance

A sweet second chance Christmas novella. Preston left small town Montana and the love of his life , Cole , behind after high school. Ten years later has him back chasing a deal. The two reconnect , there were some issues to sort out, and they nearly messed it all up again. Enjoyable short read.

Not sure why an LA Real Estate company would be handling the sale of a farm in Montana...or how Cole managed to get past the TSA security checkpoint without a ticket to keep Preston from boarding his plane. But, hey, story right?

What a wonderfully written, sweet second chance story.

From the prologue, with 18 year old Cole & Preston ice skating, onward to the epilogue I thoroughly enjoyed this sweet novella. Told in alternating POVs we're able to get to know both characters and understand their choices in life as well as their feelings about those choices.

I only wish that there was a little more information about... (hmmm.... how to say this without spoiling anything).... a significant event that happened in Cole's life and the unbelievable (to me) fact that Preston wouldn't have heard about it.

Dillon Hunter is a new to me author so I wasn't sure what to expect when I opened this file on my Kindle. Sadly, I've read way too many poorly written, poorly edited books in my beloved m/m genre this year. I'm very happy to say that this is not one of them. I most definitely recommend this to my friends.

I was fortunate enough to receive an ARC from the author in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Dillion Hunter is rapidly becoming one of my favorite authors who brings to me those oh so sweet and loving short stories that makes life so worth living. To fill a heart completely with love and emotions during the holidays as well as anytime of the year. This is one of them. Two young boys who had been in love through high school in small town Montana. Cole was content to stay there forever, but Preston wanted to get out after graduation going to LA to follow his dreams. Ten years later he returns to facilitate the sale of Cole's farm never anticipating what he would find. What he did find was Cole, the first and only love his life who he realized was the missing piece of his life. A miraculous reunion and a lifetime of Mistletoe Wishes come true. This is their story. One of true love that brought about their second chance. Great storyline. Loved the characters.... Don't miss this Christmas delight❤️

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

What a sweet romantic Christmas read. It makes me want some mistletoe to see if I can have some magical Christmas wishes.
I really enjoyed this book and the sweet second chance of love that this book gave. The Mcs were both sweet and each deserved the happiness they both got in this book.
It was a well written romance with lots of sweetness and romance. No angst page turning quick Christmas book.
I enjoy Dillons writing style and enjoying reading these books.

Sweet, but it felt rushed and not detailed enough. The guys were exactly the same, and I have no clue what they look like. I missed her Cole's parents died, and thought it too coincidental that Preston's employers would be buying Cole's ranch.

Still, it was decently edited, and I shed a tear, so three stars it is.
