Larry Rose wrote a "must read" book for all Canadians, and anyone interested in Second World War history. In-depth, well researched, and in a style reminiscent of Pierre Berton. I found it compelling and easy to get caught up in. You find yourself getting to know the characters and players on a personal level and you are put into their situations and able to understand how and why critical decisions were made.

Well done!
