Avery Dufresne hoped that the ghosts of Sugar Hill would finally rest, but when a paranormal reality show demands that she fulfill her aunt's contract with them, she realizes that the ghosts aren't through with her yet. Avery's sensitivity to the spiritual world both at Sugar Hill and Thorn Hill increases and when the spirits rise, so does the risk to the living--including Avery and her friends.
An unusual psychic trigger sends her back in time to witness the heartbreaking drama that threatens to destroy her family. Can Avery save the Dufresnes?
I know why I can't seem to stop reading Ms. Bullock' s books. They seem to suck you into the story line. You can't wait to find out what's next. Compelling and spellbinding. Love reading her story's. You hate to see them end.
This book was a little harder to follow. I love the book, don't get me wrong, but I felt like I was missing something as I read and had to re-read to ensure I was not. I felt like there was just something there that I was not grasping. No worries, I am onto the 3rd book. Hopefully the family tree will make a little more sense!
This book kind if made me sad. It was an awesome story and I enjoyed reading it but it truly was a sad story and not very scary to me. I do recommend this series.
Good second book of Sugar Hill series. I should have known it would answer some questions from Book One but, as she normally does, it did not wrap them up. All it did was open the door to Book 3 which, of course, has not been written or at least released. Best bet with M. L. Bullock books is wait to read her series when she has gone on too a new series because that's usually a good sign that she is finished with this one.
I enjoyed the story and the characters, some of the ghost hunting was a bit slow. Though you understand more in the end. I wish this had been one long novel.
As usual interesting until last 35% then does a boring ending
Her books are interesting until the untidy, untinteresting, ytotally boring ending, which btw i the begining of the next book in that series. Not going to anxously await these books again. All her series are like this.
Second book just as good as the first. My only disappointment is how short the books are. I'm able to finish them so quickly and can't wait to find out what happens next.
