The idea of being unable to understand Christ's mind is a cliche and overused excuse. This book explains the idea of understanding Christ and his mind and how Christians can apply this in our daily walk with him. If you are a new believer or a long-time follower of Christ, this book applies to you.

I read this for Church Ministries at Liberty University. It was alright. It was a decent first read but probably wouldn’t read it again for leisure.

I would recommend this book to many church's as a tool for bible study or leadership studies. I am trying to find a copy of this book, we are currently reading this book in class online. Great book to instruct Christian leaders in being more Christ like leaders.

This was required reading for my Church Ministries class and definitely worth the read. I've been spending a bit of time in Philippians for another reason but was unaware of this book until I needed to read it for class. I'm glad that I did. This is a very short book. I read it during my lunch hour. But like the late Fr. J.I. Packer says it is "pregnant with brevity."

One of my FAVORITE theology books. Brings a whole new perspective to the Book of Philippians. Was blessed to have had this as a text book and have shared this with many of my friends. Dr Ben Gutierrez's writing is easy to read, follow and understand.
