A gorgeous spa in a beautiful locale, a girls’ weekend…and murder. Phee and Juliet are ready to have the time of their lives at Sedona’s Harmonious Healing Spa and Resort. After some relaxing margaritas by the poolside, they head for a healing mud bath. Relaxation turns stressful when they uncover a body. Phee’s relaxing vacation quickly turns into a hunt for a killer. Phee is always browsing for trouble wherever she goes.
Amy Lilly can be found trapped in a library somewhere in Virginia where she pushes books on unsuspecting library patrons. When she is able to escape, she spends her free time raising Nigerian Dwarf goats, chickens, a herd of well-fed cats and two hyperactive Jack Russell Terriers. She is married and has two sons.
I started reading this series because the main character is a librarian (as is the author apparently) but this particular book takes Phee away from her usual setting to a desert spa, where she and her sister and a couple of friends are supposed to be celebrating her sister's upcoming nuptials, and relaxing and being pampered. Instead, as always happens in these books, a dead body turns up, and Phee and her friends start trying to solve the crime, to the dismay of local law enforcement. Like the others in this series, this is a quick and entertaining read.
