I have dabbled in webdesign and online marketing/business for years now. I first began educating myself on use of the web and creating websites in late 1999. I look back and realize how much I have learned over the years and see how far I have come, but there is still so much I don't know yet, that I want to know, that I NEED to know. Case in point - SEO, Adwords, Adsense... I am not fluent in them at all. I am probably missing so much that I could have if I better optimized my website with SEO in mind. I have Google Analytics set up and and accounts created and linked for Adwords and Adsense, but have never done anything with them because I don't know how yet and haven't taken time to learn. When I saw Slavio had released a book on this, I figured I would start there, since I know that all of his books are super short and provide an overview of whatever topic he is writing about, this time SEO.
This was a very short read, but a very informative one for me. I learned all of the basics, though I still have many questions. As with his other books, this one is giving me onl an overview of things and showing me a glimpse of how much I can still learn. But it has started me on the path to learning what I need to learn and has spurred me in to reading some of the other books I have collected. In this book he shares all of the basics of SEO, Adsense, and Adwords, helping readers to understand what they are and their purposes.
If you are like me and need to know more about SEO, this is a great place to start! It was well written and I am glad I took the time to read through it. Now I am prepared to begin further educating myself so that I can help others learn what they need to know to build their own businesses.

The best book I've read on SEO
As a blogger, I've read many books on SEO. This is definitely the best. It clearly and thoroughly explains how to increase your website's rankings with major search engines like Google. It also explains how social media sharing and content marketing can benefit your website and your business. I highly recommend this book for anyone with a website.

Short and Basic
This is a short, basic intro to SEO. For the length, it isn’t bad at all. The basics are well covered, and you will pick up some fundamentals for both process and tools. Not a comprehensive book, but a useful starter.

A basic guide. I wish there a bit more...
A basic guide, yes. I wish there was more detailed information about black hat techniques so we knew exactly what to stay away from.
