This is the third story of the Sorrento series which captures the lives and antics of basically three people. Bossy Melanie Moth is the head nurse at the Sorrento Retirement Facility, Alice is a resident, and Lily is a teenager who is forced to do time for stealing by working at the facility. Melanie has never had a good opinion of herself. She has a dislike of herself and has had it for a very long time. Why should anyone like her? Why should any of the residents like or respect her? There is much to value in this story, one thing is doing kind, good works for others to soften one's heart and give one a good feeling. This is mainly about Melanie who is trying to improve herself, be kinder and more considerate. It's a big job ... but she has to do it. This is an awesome story which provides much information about what goes on in an assistant living facility. This wonderfully written story will definitely warm your heart.
