Lots of grammar issues

I chose to only give this book 2 stars mainly because of all the grammar and spelling issues all throughout the book. It was very distracting and made me question the authors knowledge of the subject. The tips involved didn't give very good examples so at the end of reading the book you kind of feel like you still didn't know much more about the subject.

This book was way too simple for a very complex topic. The vision of this book was narrow, and one track minded. Perhaps if we lived in a utopian society, we could benefit from these tips, but from a realistic standpoint, this book lacks the depth needed to address the complexities of individual and collective psychologies within society.

This is a pretty good book if you've heard about "Emotional Intelligence" here and there and want to know more about it - was what I wanted to say. And even while it gives a pretty nice introduction into EI, the randomness of thought and the massive amount of grammar mistakes is just a pain. The good thing it does thou', is that I'm going to look into some better and more thorough books about EI. Worth reading if you want a very basic overview of what Emotional Intelligence is all about.

The author's approach to emotional intelligence in this book seems unnecessarily long-winded. A more concise article would have sufficed and conveyed the same message with greater clarity and impact.

Good book. Like the concept and the practical application of emotional intelligence. Concise and useful.
